After reading this article, I think it would be good if we can get a discussion going along.

Equestria Girls is a huge and risky step for the creators. Don't close the doors and make assumptions yet. This move, in my opinion, is almost as big of a risk as developing Friendship is Magic. Remember, we didn't immediately jump to conclusion when we first watched My Little Pony, and look where it got us now. We stepped out of our comfort zones and created one of the most awesome fanbases ever.

So, I say let's do it again and step out of our comfort zones once more with Equestria Girls.

Hasbro is challenging the status quo even further, and I for one am the kind of person who loves challenging the status quo.

Whether it will result with good or bad, let it be remembered that the status quo was challenged, something that many are too scared to do nowadays.
