With Rainbow Dash saved just in time, and Pinkie knocked unconscious, Spunk Light delivers them both to the hospital. With Twilight, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack taking care of Rainbow, Pinkie Pie is now Spunk Light's top priority. But when they find a virus in her head, will they be able to save the innocent? Or will it forever be Pinkamena? (Narration is Spunk Light's point of view.) (Some parts of chapter one are copied from the original Cupcakes. Out of all the things that could be messing Pinkie Pie, you chose a virus? I mean, what kind of virus makes you a murderous dissector? You could’ve said “Pinkie is actual two souls in one body” or “Pinkie is murderous because she went to the Mirror Pool recently” or “We found out that there’s another version of Pinkie Pie that could take over her body from time to time”
No? Getting a murderer like this to be passive is not easy. It wouldn’t be interesting and sorrowful if the adventure ends here.
