The Academy

The scooter in the corner of the room holds a story of determination. She dared to do the impossible, and that made it plausible. The plausibility gave her hope. And that hope gave her the drive to make the impossible a reality.

I'm dedicating this story to my friend Jon. His determination to go to space was the main inspiration for this story.

I seriously wasn't expecting you to write this and dedicate it to me. I feel honored that you would do such a thing for me. Somehow, I just felt close when you described the scooter because it reminds me a photo frame I have on the wall of me doing something awesome, but knowing that this simple step gets me closer to my end goal.

I know that we only met online a month ago but words can't describe this. Thanks for writing this and helping make this one amazing day for me.
