So... I really like cooking, ya'know? Why, I was just making a nice french omelet for myself - what with cutting the onions, and the garlic, and the ham, and a bit of jalapeno to liven things up - when I brought the hand I had use to hold the onions and the peppers up to wipe my eyes; and by Celestia, I still seem to be tearing up! I mean, it's not like Sad-Scoots could ever bring so much as a semblance of a tear to my eyes, right? Eenope, definitely the onions and peppers... Definitely.
I may be crying like a filly at the moment, but I assure you that it's not because of your fic.

As it happens, these are all just synonyms for a street urchin. I have a list of them, enough to get me through about 10 chapters, in case I need them, but I probably won't. I like esoteric chapter names, and generally put a lot of time into coming up with unique ones, or at least unique themes for them.

I love to hear other people's opinions on my characterizations of preexisting characters, mostly because reinterpreting canon personalities is hard to do without altering it somewhat. I'd like to think I do a pretty good job, but I can always improve. I'm curious what struck you as 'off', if you can put a finger it on?

Awwww, poor little chickaloo! My "Pinkie-sense" is telling me that it's not going to be so easy, but I do hope that everything works out for them. Octavia and Vinyl are one of my favourite pairs and Scoot is my favourite of the foals.
