ok let's see what i'll be piling up to comment on this time....
so first , celestia stepped down from the thrown in the previous book? i don't quite remember that detail , ugh there's just so much character development in this series , to be able to take it from being at the starting point of the canon to having mother bucking celestia legitimately relieve herself of her duties as part of that character progression instead of it being something that the fic does just because that's what the fic is about/for or w/e , just wow.....
but what was with celestia being all concerned about their decisions for their arrangements with chrysalis? wasn't she the one who was pushing for it the whole time in the previous book while being all like 'it's fine it's fine dun worry about it'? so what's the deal with that?.....
oh yeah , and then celestia suddenly decided she wanted to be able to role reversal with luna at the end of the previous book too didn't she? god danm it's been like a year since the last update was made wasn't it? so much i've forgotten......
mmmm and it looks like some rather irrational shit is going on between luna and chrysalis yet again , gonna have to see what you come up with , im sure you wont disappoint......
also good job on being like 1 of the 3 ppl to add something to my group , but there isn't any doming of celestia in this yet , in fact she's the only one who does the briefest mention of doing any doming :l ....
oh yeah and isn't that another point of not making any sense? shouldn't everyone in trueblood's world know who teoh are , or at least who twilight is? why would they suddenly 1 not care that she helped save them , and 2 forget that there were other alicorn princesses that ruled them that weren't assholes before coldheart?.....

As to a couple of your points:
- Tia did step down at the end of Circles, which is where she and Luna also switched the D/s roles.
- And Celestia might not be having a problem with Chrysalis being a princess as much as she has with what is happening personally around her right now...
- Yeah, I know that Tia isn't being dominated in this story, but it's part of a series where it happens a lot, so it would seem odd to leave this chapter out. (Trust me, too...)
- As to Trueblood's world: There has only been one Alicorn there for centuries, and that was Fantasia Coldheart. She wasn't the most beloved of figures--by most--and there is a bit of a backlash happening there. It will become much more clear in the coming chapters.

Yay! This series lives !!!! With Twilight's ascension (wonder why Tia is sorry for that), her role as Protector / Hero of New Equestria (having united the NEqu EoH, helped fight the battle against Fantasia, and her basically being one of the ponies that helped make New Equestria what it is now) is seriously bucked.
I get that after Tia and Luna were murdered (why haven't they been reborn as Selene was reborn as Luna / mentioned that when one dies, another is born?) their only Alicorn was a meglomaniacal, obsessive, mass murderer for centuries. But there must have been some lore that showed that before the darkness that is Fanatsia Coldheart, the good the Goddesses did, right? To think that after all Twilight's done for them, their ready to lynch her simply for existing.
As for Luna's eyes ... why do I have the feeling that much like Chryssie and Shining Armor when she was feeding off him while Cadance was tossed into a deep, dank, cave, and starved / probably tortured. So she could feed off his love and gain power. I feel that she's doing the same to Luna. The teal glow reminds me of how SA looked in the Canterlot Wedding ep. I have a rather bad feeling about it.
Still lovely chapter. And I'm eager to see how this story plays out.

Trueblood is going to have to become an
ascended Super Saiyanelevated alicorn herself to calm the ponies of their prejudices and fears. Or Twilight could bind her wings to her side and wear a dress to cover them in public. And, who knows, Twilight may just enjoy being bound up and walking around in public with bystanders being none the wiser to her predicament......I may, or may not, have accidentally triggered something in myself. Weird, or not.

As to why there hasn't been anyone reborn in "New Equestria," well, I tried to explain that at the end of Shattered Hearts. Basically, it's the same reason there wasn't one reborn while Luna was Nightmare Moon and banished. She was still alive, and therefore didn't need replacing. The same is true of Coldheart. She has the Sun, Moon, and Love avatars in her, and while she's alive, they won't be reborn. That make sense?
Oh, and the ponies on Trublood's world are calling it New Equestria because they see this as a new beginning, with a new government. It's a way to distinguish the "now" from the Coldheart era. So, it has nothing to do with the fact that there are two worlds and two Equestrias.

Did not know that Coldheart took all avatars, I think that she just used the old sun, moon spell, while taking perverse pleasure from making the sun and moon being madly in love with her and then murdering them over and over again. Knowing that even the sun and moon themselves bowed to her magnificence (aka, delusional narcissicism). But how does taking them into herself work? I thought after death they incarnated into a new form ... I didn't know one body could hold multiple souls. That kind of makes Coldhearts inprissionmet seem a little tortorus for the two innocent souls within her.
And the "New Equestria" thing makes sense. Although I feel bad that Twilight's getting the shaft in that world. Poor dear.
5540608 It is torturous. It's not the natural process, and Coldheart was able to get the avatars to help her in transferring their essence to her using a powerful spell. (Actually, not unlike what happened with Twilight in the Season Four finale, honestly.) But that's what made her so powerful: she had three avatars inside her, combined with the perversive nature of the "Nightmare" magic that helped to warp her and corrupt her--and make her a BAMOFO.

I have such a love hate relationship with both this, and the prequel. At times it makes me not want to keep reading, other times it makes me want to scream. I do hope that Celestia and Luna end up together at the end. It really looks like Chrysalis is trying to separate them for herself. I would love to think that it will end happy, but something in my heart tells me it wont. An excellent story, I believe it is one of the best I have ever read.

Another excellent chapter, The way you are building up drama is quite effective. I can only wonder what will happen when people realize that Twilight has gone missing.
Sometimes this story makes my heart hurt, Luna, when she was finishing her intimacy with Celestia, really really made my heart hurt. To know that the one you loved most in the world is saying another's name at the height of passion, that just makes me feel so bad for Celestia. The murk shifts and stirs, and the more that is revealed the more sorrow I feel. Excellent work with this, really. You deliver such a story, one that strikes home in its readers.

I did not show this fic in my read list until today. I need to catch up with this and next chapter.
I really hope that Trueblood can help cut down the kangroo court and prejudices of the court. After all even with the laws to prevent mistrials, and things to give a fair trail to the accused. As for Cadance. I really hope that she doesn't become another Fantasia Coldheart.

I agree with Twilight's opening statement. There is no evidence against her, only theory. What good is theory when she has the truth, and can probably show her memories in a video feed of sorts, with an unbiased pony investigating the spell to confirm that it isn't an illusion. ...Sorry for the spiel.

Oddly, I never thought about the comparison to Buffalo Bill. It's there now that you've said it, at least on the surface, but...yeah. Huh. I promise that Eidolon's plan comes together in the last chapter. I've been intentionally vague with the character as to not give away too much. I've had one person figure it out and tell me directly, because I have been dropping odd hints here and there, but I was trying to keep the character in the dark--at least for now.
I hope that you are enjoying the story, anyway. For some reason, readership is way down on this "book." I don't know whether people are getting tired of the saga, or just have no interest in this particular one. Oh well.

Actually, Chrysalis (then called Toy) was very much alive after her confrontation with Trueblood and the EOH. She escaped and they don't know where she's at. Husk went looking for her with Ditzy in tow, and Twilight even asked about her when she first got to Trueblood's world. Hmmmm...
And I can't help it. I'm a happy person. I LIKE ending what I say with a smile. It's just my nature. Go figure.
Oh, and I've never actually seen/read any of the Phoenix Wright stuff. The only place I know it from is the meme. Don't know if that really matters in any way, I'm just sayin'...

Ah, so that's where Sombra's line went.
Not going to lie this one was disappointing. It doesn't feel like there was any real progression or closure. Everything just went in a circle and it was pretty dull. There was barely any of Dom Celestia which was sent up to be a big deal at the end of the last one, Fleur becomes more of a Mary Sue by the day and Chrysalis got away without any consequences again. Sorry but this is the first one I didn't like..
