Five years have passed after the war with the Changelings, an era of peace ushered in. The sun is shining, the birds singing...and the palace lively with two very mischievous fillies. Now with more borscht!
Honestly, this was a bit odd for me to read. I mean, I like Dusty and all, but something about that seemed a bit... off? Nonetheless it was certainly an interesting read and very entertaining, if a bit graphic at times. I kind of wonder though, what if Morrigan was the one that locked the doors? Sort of like an illusion of control thing for Talon or something, which would be a kind of philosophical look into fate and such... Unless I'm reading too much into it, which I probably am. Look forwards to reading more in the future! Until then, here's some fitting music.
This was pretty hilarious I mean it kinda defeated the "meaning" or emotional fulfillment of them growing closer together but I guess this could be logical hot fix to the situation.
Also... Shinning will regret and rue the day he decided to go behind dear candys back.
If I were Talon I would have asked Morrigan for the strength to not die when the alicorns catch him Also would it possible to get the following scene in its own chapter or maybe it's own story like a one-shot?
6423431 Cadence is main cast, and will likely stay in Canterlot for a while. ...I'm sure I can add the chapter, the story is mature now, could be fun. Ill see of Zamariac would be willing to add in his two cents for it.
6423517 I'll admit that I'm not really good at reviews but I'll give it a shot I noticed that near the beginning of the chapter when Talon ran into the demonic alicorn it said that Talon could hear a hissing from his body. Is that supposed to be him burning or is it supposed to be her hissing at him? The only other thing I recall is that maybe give a peak into Luna's thoughts when she was so forceful in telling Talon to not interfere with Cadence's problem. Otherwise this is well written.
you know i still see one way out of this for our hero and all he has to do is to say four simple words "so who goes first?"
granted the results might get a little violent but if the all mother keeps her word, no-one but him will remember a thing. Granted i still don't see him getting away with not doing as she wishes in the long run but still thumbing you nose at the creator is something
I ask because Luna is my favourite Pony, yet it is almost impossible for me to feel any sympathy for her in this story knowing that she is still keeping such a secret from Talon. It shows a huge lack of trust, respect, and faith on her part towards the supposed love of her life. I mean I have a hard time taking the romance seriously until Talon knows the truth as it just seems to be a relationship built on lies and betrayal. She kept him from seeing what was left of his family and friends all so that she could put her happiness above his own.
That's...not right at all. Again; did I miss something? Does Talon in fact know what she did or what? I mean this is the second story arc involving these characters and he still doesn't know? After all they went through? After all that they have built together? If I missed anything then please tell me because I really do enjoy this story and want to like the romance. But the romance just feels...."fake" until he knows the truth as it is a relationship based on lies and deceit. Now I am not asking for any spoilers or anything, but I just would like to know if I missed something in the previous chapters or if you do plan on having Talon learn the truth or not. I mean, I understand you wanting to wait for such a secret to come out to build suspense but....it's been a really long time and I hope you don't have him forgive her so easily because it's been so long. I mean if anything; the fact that she has kept such a secret from him for so long would make it much worse.
6556159 I'm afraid you did miss that. The detail in question was covered in the first book, chapter 4 I believe, when Talon had come to the understanding that even if he did return, He's considered dead already, and now a wanted criminal if he is found alive due to the missing nuclear weapon and multi million dollar aircraft. His family is also all gone. Wife and child pronounced dead on 09/11/2001 in the story. Talon is well aware of her portal spell as well. He figured it out on his own in chapter 9 of this book. Luna simply isn't aware that he knows. I was intending to address this issue in the next chapter "Requiem" already. You won't be disappointed. But rest assured, talon is aware of the spell, and has no interest in returning to Earth.
6556481 Oooooh cool. Well that's good to hear. Though the fact that Luna hasn't told him yet is still pretty bad on her part and seems to hint that she doesn't have much faith in Talon. I mean I am sure she does, or think she does, but her not telling him about what she did kind of illustrates that she thinks he would up and leave her should he find out, something that he would not(and obviously has not since he already knows what she did)do. But nevertheless; at least he knows. Thanks for the clarification! And I look forward to the next chapter.
7025695 'Heofon' in this story is another word for heaven. Example being "I will serve you a dish of heaven" or that it tastes so good, it could be from heaven. The actual dish in question was Russian in nature, called borscht. Quite delicious honestly.

6423399 what? Like the full clop scene?
6423409 Yes the one with the alicorns
Also I wanted say that I was entirely caught off guard with including Cadence

6423460 I thank you for that
6423495 so, review time. Where are the good points, what sucked, what do I need to tweak or add?

Geez what's with so many people and their fascination with rape..
Oh Talon, you poor soul. By the way, hello it's been a while. The chapter was entertaining and good, I enjoyed it!
Did I miss something? Or does Talon still doesn't know about what Luna did with the book that could have gotten him home?
You do plan on having him find out the truth yes? I mean...that was a pretty fucked up thing Luna did and Talon has the right to know..
