I can't believe I'm saying this.....and I could potentially see it this way. Maybe Spike's search for love has been going way too long and way too broad. It looks like the mare of the story (yeah, it's a mare, it shows she is at least 21) is gonna be Silver Spoon, so partly I wonder how you will break up S.S with Diamond Tiara, and how does she know that Spike is the guy.for her. The story of how Silver Spoon is a whorse is a story in itself (at least she's not Scarflank this time).
Also, I have a strange, weird feeling that the whole Twilight being overprotective of Spike could mask her true feelings---that Twilight has some romantic feelings for Spike, as being the one to repair his broken heart. It could be cliche', but I doubt it. Would be and surprising twist, considering from the previous how borderline overbearing Twilight is to Spike.
Finally, I remember what you did at the end of the previous story of Spike's Crazy Date: Old Mrs. Marshmallow Butt is trying her way back home, gee, I wonder what made her think that she was completely wrong about what she did to him (sarcasm
) Too bad when she returns, she realizes that Spike is truly the type of man she wanted the entire time, regardless of biology, and the irony or karma if you will, will be that when she comes home, Spike's not gonna be available. He's gonna have the affections of a mare that cares and loves him whether it is Twilight, Silver Spoon, or some other mare that we have yet to find out. In that scenario, I REALLY want Spilight 
then--double whammy!!! Getting dumped after you dumped someone that cares immensely for you, and then to turn the knife, you see the same guy you dumped get hooked up with one of your best friends!!
