Vinyl Scratch/Spike is definitely an interesting and unusual pairing. Luckily, I love crack pairings like this, particularly Spike ones, so I'm enjoying it. I like how it's progressing so far. Spike managed to get a kiss quickly enough, but it's still progressing at a good pace, not too fast. I like that. I got a good chuckle out of Spike's flashback of the incident at the Rambunctious Unicorn, poor bastard gets sucked into all sorts of crazy situations! XD Good thing it looks like he can hold his own in a fight!
Heh, looks like when Spike lets himself cut loose, he can pull off some sick moves, little dude was becoming the rising star at the club! But it looks like a new challenger has appeared, and he's an Ex of Vinyl's! It's gettin' real now. Spike should go Scott Pilgrim on that guy's flank, show 'em a thing or two. I'm not sure what the challenge is gonna be, but the dialogue between the two makes me think that it could be a drinking contest personally. It could be a dance battle or just some good 'ol fisticuffs. I'm looking forward to what happens next either way!
I gotta say, Vinyl calling Spike her "NEW coltfirend" to Neon was actually pretty adorable to me. Also, regarding the outfit that Spike is wearing, I don't recall you describing what he actually has on. Was that intentional? I'm not sure, but if you intended for us to imagine what he was wearing ourselves then I'll imagine him wearing a cool hoodie and beanie hat combo, for maximum lulz and coolness.
While I can totally see where Max and Rubakor are coming from, I actually kinda like the fact that you kept Spike the same size as he is in the show. I caught that he is indeed older in this story, but the fact that he's still the size of a baby dragon provides for a lot more funny moments and jokes to be thrown his way. It also makes the story more adorable in my opinion, but that's just me! I think it could have something to do with me liking romance stories where the guy is shorter than the girl, makes it cuter and more fun to read. But it doesn't really matter that much to me anyway, haha! Just do what you feel like with this story; I know I'll enjoy it!
