I'm sorry, but cutting the wings off a Pegasus does not make it an Earth Pony. It makes it a Pegasus who doesn't have wings. Earth Ponies have their own magic and gifts as well, you know?

Yeah he wanted to ask what Rainbow Dash told him not to bother asking. Which in context makes sense, I mean if you were a Pegasi, had wing cancer, and were doing what she was with the Wonderbolts. While it would be good, it'd still be a touchy subject that you wouldn't want to go into with every pony in Equestria.
Pardon the language, but then he had to be an asshole about it. Of course with Cancer wrapped around her spine, it wasn't the best action, but still he did have it coming. And he could've made a less douchey comment.

This is a cute fic. Although technically Dash is still a pegasus, since she wouldn't gain the Earth Ponie's Earth Magic from cutting off her wings. But this was a touching fic. I liked it. I'm going to be reading the sequel now.
