Twilight Sparkle, now newly transferred to Canterlot Highschool, is eager to study the applications to magic that exist in the world. She had already seen it first hand herself, both personally and the effects it had on Spike. But now she wants to see know what the full extent of magic can do. Naturally her new friends are willing to help her, especially Sunset who is glad to have a someone to share her magical studies with, but when an experiment goes wrong Twilight and Sunset will find themselves in a world far different from either of theirs and unprepared for the laws that govern this world.

Her previously normal, structured world comes crashing down around her. The happy future she had pictured for herself and her family, now a bittersweet memory.

After long days full of prying questions and sleepless nights bristling with nightmares, Twilight comes to a desperate conclusion: Alya is the root of her troubles.

This is basically a re-imagining of the character, Pinkamena Diane Pie, and a story of making her own identity in the land of Equestria.

Otonashi and the rest of the S.S.S crew get reincarnated as these creatures that look similar to ponies. Otonashi feels the need to look for them as they have been spread across Equestria.
