A reboot/spin off of The Mare Who Fell to Earth, this comedy centers on Jimmy Quinn, a nerd with Asperger's who's recently been dumped by his girlfriend. After drowning his sorrows, he wakes up with a killer hangover and a naked woman in his bed. She claims to be from a land called Equestria, and a unicorn named Rarity.

She was sent to Earth by mistake, but winds up in a grand experiment by Princess Celestia: to report on human social norms, customs, behaviors, and shining examples of human kindness and compassion. The results will be collected in a guide for Equestrians to read before first contact with Earth. Together, Rarity and Jimmy will write and compile the greatest book Equestria has ever seen... The Equestrian's Guide to Humanity.

Kajiik, Celestia's first Zebra student, and his personal bodyguard Iron Hoof are sent to oversee the One Thousandth Summer Sun Celebration. And make some friends, on orders.

Plans like this never go quite right, and the two stallions find themselves pulled into a fight to survive as Nightmare Moon returns to enact eternal night. Four mares join them on their journey, each helping to complete a mystical artifact that would save them from the nightmare. Each in their own unorthodox way.

Rainbow Dash has a mystery on her hooves when she takes Scootaloo to step on her first cloud, and the young pegasus goes right through it. It seems as though Scootaloo can’t walk on clouds at all. Could it be that the only bit of pegasus DNA in Scootaloo is her wings?

While Twilight is away, Trixie arrives and asks Rarity to join her party in a game she invented to earn a living. So Rarity, Vinyl Scratch, Lyra and Minuette take part in the first game of magic freeze tag in Equestria. Rarity really gets into it, but when they run into trouble, the other three get a little mutinous…

Luna has always been the watcher of dreams for her ponies, and caretaker of their private fears. Over time, she has come to see many of the ponies of Equestria feel oppressed and downtrodden, and yet she can find no reason for it. Everything is perfect in Equestria. Or so it seems until Luna discovers a secret history Celestia has tried to bury - along with a series of philosophical manuscripts and political manifestos.

Apple Bloom is one of the many ponies feeling trapped in her life, and this manifests itself in her dreams. Luna, inspired by the ancient philosophies from Celestia's forbidden library helps Apple Bloom through her problems by taking her on as a student. Apple Bloom, true to form, decides to share these ideas with her friends.

Something I've been dabbling in for the last few months. First pony fic, and - quite frankly - it's rather unrefined. Mostly me exploring philosophy from pony's points of view. I don't know if the Lunar Republic and Solar Empire are "fanon" material with their own respective histories, so I just made my own rather than research it. Sorry to any fans of that AU if I've stepped on toes. Also, I'm trying to keep this politically neutral; that is, I'm not trying to make the Republic or Empire, or their respective philosophies, the "good guys" of the story. Think of this as a crack fic, if it helps.

This fic centers on the rise of the Lunar Republic and its secession from Equestria. I plan on making a sequel fic which focuses on Celestia's transition into Empress of the Solar Empire, probably lamely titled "The Empire". Anyway, tell me what you think. Really let me have it. Also, I wasn't sure what category to put this in; it's not really dark, but it's not much else either. Any tips there would be appreciated.
