This has been a very busy week for me in real life, so I haven't had as many open blocks of time to write. However, I did finish my rewriting of chapter 8, "The Moon Princess". I put it to my development team for editing, and there was just one issue I'm going to have to deal with.

Time for another update!
I know I said just a week ago that I'd probably have to do these every two weeks rather than weekly. But that was before a whole ton of stuff happened! The story has just been hit with a shot of adrenaline to the heart. Allow me to explain.
I have to make this one quick because I'm running late for something.
I did it! Finally posted Chapter 3 - Of Friends and Nightmares. This is a rewrite, so you'll find it reads quite different from the original.

Hey, everybody.
Going to try and give weekly updates every Friday on what's going on, even if it's not much of anything.
This has been an exciting week, getting rolling with the migration and making sure everything was linked properly and set up in the Black Feather forum.
Hey, all. This is a pretty significant change I'd like to grab everyone's attention for.
The time has finally come to retire the original story (reverting its contents and name to how it was when I first published) and continue forward, posting new or rewritten chapters via a special forum dedicated to the project.
I've finished the prologue rewrite, which is currently being reviewed by the development team. It seems to be ready to go.
There are a couple issues worth mentioning. First, it ended up getting kind of long. Second, the ending scene didn't have the kind of tension we felt a prologue needed. So we talked it over and decided to make an interesting change.
Lots of cool stuff. The TL;DR is up front:
* Black Feather universe continues to grow
* I've got a collab partner and we're both writing different stories in the same continuity
* Fallout: Equestria stuff is completely purged from Black Feather, which is now in its own 100% original universe.
Just a quick blog post in preparation for the upcoming and long-anticipated chapter, "Blood and Fire" which will be released very soon.
I've finally settled on a new title for this story.
The original, somewhat amateur title, "Nightmare Nyx: Protector of Ponies" is no more.
Whew. So, I've finally published Portents of Darkness, the latest chapter of Nightmare Nyx. This has been a long road coming, folks. You have no idea. The first draft of this chapter was written in October, 2014. It was good by those standards, but it's seen so many revisions that I've lost count. Each time, the chapter has gotten a lot better than the previous version.
