For the longest time, I thought we'd never see Rumble again in MLP.
Anyone who's a fan of my story knows that adult Rumble is one of the main characters. He's a real hard one to describe concisely. You just gotta get to know him through his actions and his interactions with other ponies. He's definitely one of my most original and well-established OC's. Brave and sarcastic. Tactless with a heart of gold. Incurably in love with his wife. Dangerously curious. Insatiably drawn to yummy food. Loves tinkering and blowing things up. And all those random snacks he produces for others... Where does he get them from?
Full disclosure is that Rumble had no plan when I began writing. He was Nyx's other half, but he was more or less devoid of personality in my original writings. A generic soldier-like pony. But then something unexpected happened. He just sort of developed organically into an amazing and truly likable character. So I was very curious when I found out that Rumble was back in a new episode.
Only they kind of turned him into a grouch. I didn't like what I saw at first. But here's the really interesting part. I've never picked a cutie mark for him! It was a slight oversight on my part, but no, Rumble has no cutie mark mentioned in my story. Not yet, anyway. I'll probably fix that, but this is pretty wild because the reason he doesn't have a cutie mark in my story is because Rumble's character is so complex that I didn't want to pin him down to a single primary trait. Some people have suggested it be an explosion. Or thunderclouds. Or a grenade (He likes grenades). Or an eclair (He really likes pastries). I couldn't decide because I felt like if I picked a cutie mark for him that it wouldn't match his complete characterization.
So imagine my shock when this was the very plot of the episode! Rumble himself was nervous about getting a cutie mark for the same reason I was nervous about giving him one. 
And to add a final touch to this, the very end of the episode shows Rumble cooking of all things. 
I haven't watched the show in a while, as in watching all the episodes. When did he first appear?

That aside I Haven't seen a new episode in a couple of years.. what is his Cutie Mark and is it compatible with Black Feather Rumble?
