--This story takes place 20 years after Discord's second banishment--

Discord is the physical embodiment of all chaos in the universe.

Apple Bloom is the sister of an Element of Harmony and the Treasurer of the Cutie Mark Crusaders.

This obviously means that they will fall in love.

This was originally going to be a one-shot, but I soon discovered that I am way too long winded to try and cram a story in ~3k words. So plan on this being a 3-4 chapter story updated whenever I can cram in some writing time between college classes and cadet life.

Professor Discord starts receiving unwanted attention from the new student of Celestial Academy, Twilight Sparkle. As Twilight spends her days trying to unravel the mystery surrounding the Draconequus, something watches from the shadows with malicious intent.

After the Discord incident, Twilight is feeling guilty for sealing Discord in stone.And, she is growing to have romantic feelings towards him, but they are the exact opposites of each other.

But Twilight wants to make it up to him and tries to help, unknown to her, the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony is habouring romantic feelings for her too.

So will they both admit their feelings as they slowly become friends and maybe become more?

Mixing certain events here and there to make it more interesting and you may find out more secrets about the main pairing soon!

What would you do if your world was crumbling? What would you give up to save it? Would you sign a deal with a God of Chaos? Well Twilight is in a situation where she has to sign the dotted line, but then is this a bad thing when your signing your soul away to the god of Madness? Who knows. After all he has had other contracts.... and those worked out.. sort of

Princess Twilight has taken her place as the newest member of the royal family. After some time Discord becomes Twilights personal advisor and they are driving each other crazy. In more ways than one.

With their partnership comes many changes to Equestria and Twilights political power has started overshadowing the Royal Sisters.
This was Celestia's plan all along, but it doesn't stop there.

Following the events of "In Search of the Sun", Discord has returned, seeking citizenship in Equestria. However, he has entered a rather strange condition in the contract...

It is highly advised that you read "In Search of the Sun" first!

If you missed it, here's the skinny: Celestia gets sick, Twilight and the elements (+ Spike) have to travel with Discord to get a cure, ????, Celestia gets better, Discord is set free, and everypony lives happily ever blah blah blah! Though the events of Discord are behind them, Twilight still thinks about the spirit of disharmony. Thoughts kept to herself, she realizes that some of the things she does remind her of him...and how she DOES miss him. Thoughts kept to herself, hiding it from her friends and even the princess, Twilight wonders what could have been if they never had turned Discord into stone. Would he still have been trouble? Would he have been someone able to be compatible with in time? Even Twilight wonders if his cotton candy clouds were actually as delicious as they seemed! Here's a story from the unicorn's perspective during many scenes from "Return of Harmony" as well as her opinions after the events.

Things are hard in Ponyville for Fluttershy and Discord; mainly because of Discord. But when magic starts to go on the fritz and eventually starts failing altogether, it's up to the main six and the Draconequus to find out what's causing it and, more importantly, how to fix it.

This would be a lot easier if anypony trusted the King of Chaos to begin with, but with bigger problems on the horizon, some things will have to wait to be dealt with. Like trust. Or loyalty. Or friendship.

Of course, sometimes what we think isn't important to deal with right now, is exactly what's needed to prevent things from getting far, far worse.

Do you know what it's like to be trapped in stone, not fun. Especially if you're someone like Discord and have to deal with your own twisted mind. Let's take a look into Discords mind while he's trapped in stone and see how enjoys other company. Of course, this would all be easier if he wasn't insane.
