Instead of your normal face, a stranger looks back at you in the stream's reflection. You remember everything about your life and your loved ones... everything except what happened last night that led you to... this.

This is a story of just such a pony. First told from the perspective of the ponies she meets in the first few days after the event and then again from her perspective. Together they tell of a pony who doesn't seek greatness, only answers.

This story is based in 1000 year old Canterlot and involves some of the ponies who wielded the Elements of Harmony during the banishment of Nightmare Moon (according to The Real Story fan fiction comic on Youtube and Deviantart). Twilight is very excited to have perfected a new transformation spell. While trying it out on Cadance, however, an ill-timed sneeze turns everypony in the room into cats, including Princess Celestia.

Stuck in the form of a tiny (and adorable) kitten, without access to magic, Twilight has to find a way to fix everything, all while dealing with her growing feline instincts, the hazards of a pony-sized world, and a Princess Celestia who seems to have forgotten she ever was a pony.

Twilight and her friends now want to help Starlight find her long lost foal, while trying to puzzle out just how a mother could not know her own foal. Starlight meanwhile is trying to decide whether to bury the past, or drag it all up once again. Both will be painful, but the question remains. Which one would hurt the least, for all involved?

Several truths are revealed, and motivations are uncovered. When everything is laid bare how will everyone react? Will Starlight's life be turned upside down, even in this time of change for the former villain?

Dinky and Sparkler have the most awesome godmom in Equestria--that's right, me! Rainbow Dash. Being friends with their mom means I've spent a lot of time with them over the past few years. They're pretty cool kids.
