A few days after the Nightmare Moon Incident, Spike awakens to find Twilight acting a little...odd. Or odder than usual anyway. All of a sudden she's being all motherly, sure of herself in ways she's never been before, and even more outgoing.

But…it’s kind of creepy how she just seems to know everypony’s name, or their habits, and even some stuff nopony else should know.

But she's still good old Twilight...right?

After being banished by Celestia for his misdeeds, the alien Emperor of the Crystal Empire is back... and out for revenge.

Emperor Chalmers is not a happy space man. After being stabbed in the back by Equestria, he was sent to the depths of the Underworld. Kicked out for causing too much trouble for the wardens, Nigel now has the chance to take back his empire and show Celestia just how disappointed he is with her.

This time things will be different. This time he has friends.

Princess Twilight and her friends get sucked into another Enchanted Comic, one which takes them to the world of bipedal, overdressed monkey-like creatures, otherwise known as humans. Now the little ponies must navigate their way through the comic book world and its many varied obstacles so as to accomplish the goal set to complete the story and return home.

Most ponies assume that something is wrong with Ditzy Do's eyes. Theories range from a head injury to a genetic disorder to muscle damage behind her eye. The crueler folk suggest she's just retarded. Nicer ponies say it's just a party trick she never got tired of.

They're all wrong. They're all very, very wrong.

I discovered the truth one day in conversation with her. One eye would always look at me, and the other would wander. At least, I thought it was wandering. So while we were talking, I followed it. Goddess in heaven I wish I had not. Never follow the other eye. Ever. Because Ditzy Do's eyes work fine.

She's just watching something. That... thing that's always in the corner of our eyes. And if she looks at you with both eyes?

Being a connoisseur of music of all Earthly varieties, Marcus is able to awaken the Equestrians to the true power of music that nopony has quite managed before due to certain... limitations, along with knowledge of the universe that is awe-inspiring, as well as quite shocking. Expect lots of music links.

Notes: I know the first half of Chapter 1 reads a bit like an entry on the Erowid Experience Vault, but trust me, it's important! As such, however, it may not be quite suited for younger readers. Also, I doubt I will be able to update frequently, what with school and all. Do not despair, though! I will update when I can.

FYI: Each chapter title is a song reference. Kudos if you get them.
