Rainbow Dash has a relatively simple talk with a teenage Scootaloo on the effects of love and the problems with pursuing it.

So... Twilight has a friend she never mentioned before... a big strong handsome unicorn....and now he's come to visit in Ponyville... and is totally hitting on Twilight... Rainbow's marefriend... who ponies just say is jealous.... but she's not jealous... totally not jealous.... at all.. nope...... With the help of her friends can Rainbow prove that he's out for her marefriend?

A TwiDash story focusing on Rainbow's jealousy of Twilight's friend, which is surprisingly warrented.

“Do Humans Hibernate?” Rainbow has a question on her mind. She's not entirely sure why it's bothering her so much. It probably doesn't help that the only human she could ask is the world's greatest liar.

Twilight Sparkle is lonely and is determined to change that.

She’s had her eyes on Rainbow Dash for a while, but she doesn’t know how to truly express her feelings. No books were able to properly explain how to cope with her feelings of love, leaving her frustrated and confused. She has tried dropping subtle hints here and there, but Rainbow is oblivious to her advances and Twilight is too nervous to spill her heart out to her.

So she waits, spending many months devising a way to get Rainbow to see her more than just a good friend. Given a set of perfect circumstances, Twilight is finally able to put her plan into action. Now, Twilight might finally be able to see if she can turn her friendship with Rainbow into something wonderful.
