Twilight has been having nightmares,and she hasn't been sleeping much over the past few weeks, and she has no idea what's causing this. She wakes up one morning to find a book she has not seen before in her library. Her excitment turns to fear as she starts reading it.

I'm gonna give this author thing a shot, and see what comments I get from it. Constructive criticism is encouraged, and I want to know whether or not you want me to continue with this story! I may change the cover image later, or I may not. Enjoy!

I've spent the majority of my life tilling the desolate land in which I live. Every day, I wake up to move useless rocks from one location to another. This is an archaic line of work that my family has clung to for generations. It is a dull, grey existence.

Today, I have woken up in a strange room, lying in a bed that isn't mine. I'm surrounded by five mares whom I've never seen in my life. They claim to be my friends, and expect me to bring joy to the hearts of everypony.

Joy? I don't think I've ever experienced this for myself, so how am I supposed to thrust it upon others?

My name is Pinkamena Diane Pie, and I'm not sure what to make of this situation.

After constant hassling from her parents combined with the long nights spent with only Tank for company, Rainbow Dash decides to give the dating scene a try. Unfortunately, it isn't until she's given a few stallions in Ponyville a chance to impress her does she realize the perfect stallion has been right in front of her the whole time! He understands her competitiveness, need for speed, and her hatred of boredom. There's just one problem: he could end up destroying the world.

When Rainbow Dash announces something very important to her friends, one of them reacts in a way that she never would have foreseen. Why is that, and how will it affect their friendship?

During the entrance exam to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, Twilight completely loses control of her magic. Celestia tries in vain to calm her down, but having no other choice she's forced to use a shrinking spell on the filly in order to tone down her dangerous surge of power.

After the exam, Celestia takes the tiny Twilight as her personal student to teach the young unicorn control over her powerful magic, making sure that she will pose no threat to other beings.

Will tiny Twilight be able to step out into a world designed for someone far larger than her? And will her size impede her in the trials of life as princess personal student ?

Rainbow Dash's dad, Blue Streak, has been lonely and sad ever since Firefly passed away. Rainbow has tried her best to cheer him up, but to no avail. On her latest visit, she finds out that her dad has been seeing someone and is now happier than ever. She couldn't be happier for him, until she found out who it was.

Spike ends up finding himself the object of affection for the cutie mark crusaders after saving them from danger after getting dragged along on one of their adventures. After being vanquished by Celestia a thousand years ago, Nightmare Moon has returned to exact her revenge on the Goddess of Light and the ponies she protects. Celestia has tasked Fluttershy, her strongest and most reluctant soldier, with stopping the Queen of the Underworld. But the situation is not as simple as it looks, for Nightmare Moon's mysterious resurrection and rampage are just the beginning of a conflict between several unlikely forces, and Fluttershy is about to get caught in the middle.
