The TARDIS is malfunctioning, the Doctor meant to send them back two hundred years to see a concert, but forgot that the TARDIS has no reference points in this universe. Now caught in the middle of a frightening Civil War between two sisters, the Doctor and his new Companions will have to employ all their wits to stop an extra-terrestrial plot to change history...

Wilfred Mott knocked four times, but the Doctor didn't die. He simply regenerated into a strange new form and blasted the TARDIS into a dimension full of strange, talking ponies. Now the Doctor has to come to grips with his new body, as well as saving this new universe, and picks up a couple of friends along the way.

The whole reason why he gave up helping people go back to his time there. In Equestria he will face new dangers and new allies as he tries to save Gaia from ending up like Galifrey.

On the day before her 800th year of her lonely reign without her younger sister, Celestia takes the day before to mourn over her sister ever since she was banished to the moon. But on this particular day of grief, she gets a visit from the Doctor, along with somepony whom she hasn't seen in a very, very long time, her sister Luna.

In Equestria's early history, years before Luna had become a princess like her sister, ever before she gotten her cutie mark, she was once plagued with nightmares. She wanted to sleep without these monsters and demons to haunt her. Help does come in a blue box, from a stallion who calls himself "Doctor", with is assistance, and a pony whom everyone thought was Luna's imaginary friend.
