When Fluttershy fails to negotiate for better prices at the farmers' market, she inadvertently provides the impetus for a revolution to overthrow the government of Equestria and install a new head of state -- her.

At first, the people of Equestria are more than pleased with their new leader. However, they don't appear to be quite interested in what she herself would like them to hear, mostly because it's difficult to hear anything she says.

In this short piece, Twilight Sparkle finds herself in some lonely corner of the world, coming head-to-head with an evil she's fought before time and time again.

A/N - It was 3AM when I wrote this and I opted for a minimal-editing approach so I've no idea if this'll make sense, or be any good for that matter. First pony fanfic - written other stuff before but never published to FiMFiction!

Partly inspired by 'March To The Sea', 'Sea Lungs' and 'Eula' by the band Baroness of whom I love. There are occasional references to the songs and whilst not using any exact lyrics I still feel it appropriate to give a nod to Baroness, and that their songs are of course their artistic property.

This is the journal he kept over the many years of his life, in which we will find a story not many know. Perhaps, in the end, Discord is not the bad guy after all.

In the distant future of Equestria, Luna is recalled to Canterlot against her will to participate in a court case that will decide the future for sentient machines.

What does it mean to truly be the Princess? To always know what to say, how to fix any problem, when to act for the good of your subjects over yourself? If this is the truth, then Princess Celestia certainly was not ready to become the Princess in the first place. Now, as she sees herself reflected in the new Princess Twilight, she decides to tell Twilight the story of her past in the hopes that she might learn from her successes along with her failures.

Unable to tell reality apart from his imagination, John's world is falling through the cracks. He can't tell if this place is real or is just his mind's conjuration of a world where he can escape his own. Cortana told him he was home. Is this what she meant, or is he just unable to open his eyes and accept what happened?

A horrible Cataclysm has turned all of Equestria into a Wasteland of barren ash and twilight desolation. The Sun and the Moon have been destroyed. Everypony has died--including Princesses Luna and Celestia. But one pony miraculously survives; she is a lone wanderer, the last of her kind, surrounded by menacing creatures that hate her. She navigates the Wastes in an airship and scavenges off the blighted landscape to keep herself alive.

Then one day she meets an old companion who grants her a gift, the chance to go back in time to the warm and sunny days of Ponyville, where her dead friends live in happiness. How far will the last pony venture into this joyous age of Equestria, even if she fully knows that there is no way to change the horrible fate of everypony she loves?
