Twilight has come to discover that royal politics are complicated, but foreign policy is the worst. When the minotaur king decides to pay a visit, Celestia invites Twilight to be part of her first meeting with a foreign leader. This is her first big chance to impress on an international level... but the king isn't here to celebrate the Magic of Friendship, and he has more than a few choice words for the rookie princess. Twilight might just want to go back to world-saving after this.

Originally written for the write-off prompt "There's Magic in Everything." I was too late, then changed it up, and was left with... well, this. Brilliant!

Above and beyond the clouds is where her true place lies. Beyond that place, however, an even more desirable bounty awaits. Rainbow Dash wants to go past her limit; breach her entrapment and explore what lies beyond the sky. She wants to fly higher than anyone, or anything. She doesn't want to stop.

But as we all know, everything has to stop eventually.

The speedway. The place where those seeking speed can get it, and more. It is never stationary, never fixed; it moves and follows wherever you fly. It is more than what can be seen with the eyes, as it cannot be seen to begin with. It is only felt. It can never be adequately-described with mere words. It is dangerous, yet exciting. Unstable, but rewarding. Treacherous, and yet enjoyable.

For Rainbow Dash, the speedway is her thrill. Her escape. Her ambition. Her dream.

Princess Twilight Sparkle is sick in bed with a cold, and none too happy about it. At least until Pinkie Pie visits the library for moral support.

Luna awakens to find herself in a strange, frightening realm filled with churning darkness and eerie silence. With no idea how she'd gotten there, her only mission is to find her way back home. But this place is mysterious, terrifying and even dangerous. Along the way, she finds another pony who somehow found themselves in this strange place: Little Sweetie Belle. Can they survive?
