When the Red Moon rose, nopony could understand what it meant. Or what kind of troubles it would soon bring. But would these troubles be the fault of the ominous celestial body, or perhaps, would the cause be much closer than they would ever believe?

Derpy likes muffins. Dinky likes pancakes. Derpy doesn't take this too well. Dinky doesn't care. Who will win in the everlasting battle of pancakes versus muffins? There can be only one! ...Or can there?
Pancakes or waffles? Such a question now faces down the Hooves family as a familiar pair of sneaky salesponies offer some hefty competition to their pancake shop. Who will come out on top, and who will drown in syrup...?

That Feel When... · 7:43pm
Life sucks. It really does. But ya know what? That's fine. Life isn't supposed to not suck. Why, if life didn't suck, then why the heck would we have decided that life sucked enough to warrant learning how to smack two rocks together and discover the magic of really sore fingers? (And fire, by extension?) Life sucks, because it knows that you'd end up becoming a greedy, worthless prude if it spoon-fed everything to ya on a kilt-flippin' silver platter. No, Life is a responsible parent! It makes you WORK for your sustenance and success. It makes you ENJOY what you've achieved. It makes you PROUD of your achievements. It makes life worth LIVING. And to do that, life has to suck a little bit; to make the good parts stand out, so you can enjoy them all the more.
But, sometimes, life can suck HARD. To the point where you have to stop and take a moment to turn off the vacuum and catch your breath for a bit.
For me, I've been having one of those moments. It's dredged up some rather nasty memories on top of that, too. Memories of how much of a horrible friend I've been to some people. Old shames. So-called friends and companions I've since parted ways with and never speak to anymore. Acquaintances that I've betrayed and broken promises with. Whom I've lied to, manipulated, and deceived. I've lost the trust -- several times -- between me and my friends, family, and other people that have been able to break my facade. And, more recently, I've broken the hearts of some very close friends of mine, because for once in my life, I elected to tell them the sad truth...
But those times are finished.
I'm taking a short leave of absence to clear my head. I need a little bit of time offline; maybe killing some stress with Initial D, eurobeat, and just doodling random things in notebook, like I often do. To my readers, no worries, I'll be back with a couple of fics that I wrote a week ago in a bit of a sleepless stupor. For all I know, I could be taking a break for simply a day, or maybe even a week. I don't know. I need some time to myself. And upon having collected myself, I will return with fanfic tidings and perhaps a fuller explanation.
Thank you for your time and understanding. See you soon.
(PS: And to be perfectly honest, I haven't seen any of the new episodes yet. I've been far too busy with skype, PonyRiffs, and other personal matters. :I So... I guess that's something for me to do while offline, right? XD)
These are my stories. You should totally read 'em, just because.
In the realm of dreams, the gentle embrace of wonderland and the wide expanse of imagination offer limitless opportunities for a young filly's mind. Thoughts and ideas spring to life and die in an instant; but the dream goes on.
On and on, like a fantasy.
A short, experimental fic. Co-written with ScootaWriter.More Less
Lyra loves soda. She can't get enough of the stuff, honestly. Her roommate and eternally-platonic pal, Bonbon, doesn't really care a whole lot. She just kinda "flows" with it. But, Lyra's passion for soda now appears threatened. The Equestrian Health Organization wants to ban the stuff. As a mare that prides herself in her status as Ponyville's leading soda guzzler, she doesn't exactly take it that well.
So begins a not-so-epic quest, in which Lyra tries to save her favorite everytime beverage from the horrors of federal legislation. And as usual, Bonnie just gets dragged along for the ride.
Luna is back from the moon.
And she is pissed. No, not at Celestia. Those drapes don't match the windows. The furniture doesn't match the carpet. Seems that aesthetic knowledge has declined since she left; good thing Princess Luna is here to save the day with her interior design skills!
Based on a story prompt from my good friend electreXcessive. Just a quick little test of how well I can write prompts, as this will be the first that someone has ever given to me. xDMore Less
Roseluck loves flowers. As do her friends, of course. The fragility and beauty of such things, though, can mean so much more than by mere appearances. What does a rose have to do with life itself? What difference does it make, if some flowers are lovely, and the others drab?
