Spike just lost a very close friend. The only problem is: he doesn't know which one. Was it the love of his life, Rarity; or his number one best friend, Twilight? Which world is real, and which is the dream?

As the years drew on, Spike's childish heart grew into that of a true adult, longing for the finer things in life; the finest things. He pursues his relationship with Rarity, but all does not go as planned.

Filled with anger and sorrow, Spike and Rarity fall away from one another. In his grief, Spike pursues new interests, and their friendship is in danger of never recovering.

But perhaps the truest words in life are these: you do not know what you had until you have lost it. Jealous and alone, finding no comfort in stallions she once loved, can Rarity reclaim her one chance at true love, before it is too late?

Spike is almost 1,000 years old and has had to live his life seeing everyone he loves die before him. Now, grown up and living alone in a cave, he attempts to remember these painful memories that he has tried to avoid for so long.

After being knocked out during the iron pony competition, Spike has a dream of Rarity in a magical land. Unfortunately for him, his fantasy is taken away as he is brought back to reality.

For the past year, Spike has lov-liked Rarity. However, when Twilight lays down flat his chances with the beautful unicorn, Spike is devastated. By chance, he meets a strange pony, who offers him help on his love affairs.
