Apparently someone upstairs found some sort of pity within themselves and decided that I was worthy of a second chance. At least, that's what I assume. Since I've magically been dropped into another world, in the body of a baby horse no less!

Life is hard. It’s a fact that Lapis is all too familiar with and one he wishes he didn’t understand. Spike had never thought he would meet his birth parents, he had been with Twilight for quite sometime now and he was starting to lose hope that he'd ever meet them. But when he goes to the Dragon Lands to see the Migration, he not only meets a kind dragon who helps him through the place, but he also helps find someone he never thought would get to meet..

On a late morning in ponyville, the inhabitants of the Castle of Friendship wake up long after the sun rises to make a startling discovery; Spike had inexplicably transformed into an Alicorn! Even stranger, nopony seems to remember anything about the previous day at all, to understand what had caused such a thing to occur.

Jai Young is 20 fresh out of his parents house and happy to be away from home. Moving out was the best thing he'd ever done with all of the constant fighting at home. Despite moving out and landing a pretty good job as a cook at an upscale restaurant he feels; out of place. The sense of displacement doesn't last too long though. One run in with an interesting old man however changes his relatively boring life and immediately flips it on its head. He wakes up in foreign land with magic he doesn't understand how to use, with a threat known to most history books in Equestria and the Crystal Empire unfolding in real time around him. Yea that's fine, he can make this work; He always has.
