Fluttershy finds a three year old with super powers
What's a better way to start off a summer vacation with a slumber party? Nothing of course, but one night Fluttershy finds a heartbroken 3 year old boy while on her way to Pinkie's. With no choice, she decides to take him with her. The other girls all adore him and find out he's not just any normal three year old. He's one with powers! Unfortunaltey because of that, he is being hunted down by evil forces, so the Mane 7 must do everything they can to protect this little one from getting in harms way.
This story is inspired by Goebeltron's story "A Tale of A loving Sister," so there might be some parts where it will seem familiar. You should check him out. His stories are really good.
Today was the day of the last exam. Rainbow Dash had quickly finished the last few problems on her math exam. It was a combination of everything they had learned. From Two step Algebra to trig functions. This was her last one before she was done for the year. Come on I must remember how to do this! She decided to take take a quick peek at Twilight's paper. She carefully learned to the side.
"Eyes on your own exam, Miss Dash!" Cranky Doodle called her out.
"Sorry," Rainbow said sheepishly. Twilight rolled her eyes and continued on her exam.
Fuck it, I'm just gonna turn it in. She was already done. She was already making a high B in the class. Which was actually pretty high for her. After doing a quick check on all her problems, she turned her exam at the front of the desk. Summer vacation, here I come! Twilight turned hers in after and they both left the classroom together.
"God that test was hard!" Rainbow groaned as they walked through the hallway.
"Really? Because I thought it was easy." Twilight responded. Rainbow rolled her eyes.
"Of course YOU would think it's easy. Are there any subjects you don't find easy?"
Twilight tried to think of something but couldn't.
"Well actually...no."
"See?" Rainbow said. "Twilight, you try too hard to be good at everything. Look at me! I barely pass my classes and I'm doing great!"
Twilight was about to say something when,
"Hey guys, what's up?" Sunset had walked torwards them.
"Oh nothing much...I was just telling Miss StudyALot here how she tries too hard to be perfect at everything."
"Um Rainbow, doesn't that make you a hypocrite? You're always talking about how you always wanna be awesome. You even wrote a whole song about it," Sunset pointed out.
"Uhh there's a difference between being awesome and perfect, Sunset! One is easier to achieve than the other!"
"Which is awesome?" Sunset asked. Rainbow nodded.
"Well anyway, how was your guys exam?"
"I don't know yet, but I really hope I did well," Twilight said worried.
"Twilight, you literally have a 105 in the class. You could still get a 0 on the exam and still be passing the class with an A," Rainbow sighed. "You literally have no reason to be worried. If I have a C average in the class and not stressing out about it, then you shouldn't either."
"Yeah, maybe your right..." Twilight realized.
"Hey where are the others?" Rainbow realized her other friends weren't here.
"I guess they already went home," Sunset assumed. "Well ima head home too. I'll see you guys later!"
It was the very last day of school, and the students were excited to finally go on thier summer vacation. Rainbow Dash was in her math class as Cranky Doodle was handing back the exam papers. When he got to Rainbow's desk, he put the paper face down and the athlete braced herself. She flipped over the paper and saw the red number "71" on it. I passed it. That's all that matters! She heard Twilight groan and looked over.
"Twilight, you're grade can't be worse than mine." Rainbow said. She took a look at Twilight's paper and saw it was a "99". She started to laugh. "Really?! You're stressing out over a 99?! Most students here would DIE to get that grade!"
"It's not funny Rainbow!"
"Chill out, Twilight. I was only messing. You have all A's in all your classes already!"
"You're right. It's only a little slip." Twilight agreed.
"You may keep your exams or not. It's up to you." Cranky Doodle announced. Rainbow smirked and grabbed ahold of her exam paper. Then she ripped it in half, and in half, and in half until it was torn to shreds.
"Rainbow! What are you doing?!" Twilight asked with horror.
"What? He said we could keep it or not, so I decided not to."
"But did you really have to tear it to shreds? Don't you wanna keep it for you know...the memories?"
"Twilight, the only memories I have of this shit-ass class is the torture I had to sit through listening to lectures," Rainbow said flatly. "I'm so glad it's over."
The final bell rang and the students hurriedly left the classroom. School was now out and Summer vacation had started!
Today was the first day of Summer vacation. The Mane 7 were excited as they talked about what they would be planning to do for the next three months. They had all passed thier exams. Sunset and Twilight had gotten all As. Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie had gotten A's and B's. Rainbow had gotten Cs, but she didn't care. She still passed and that's all that matters.
"Why don't we start off with a slumber party at my place?" Pinkie suggested.
"I don't see why not," Rarity said.
"Sound great!" Sunset added. "I think that's a great way to start off a summer vacation."
The other girls made agreeable comments and started to talk about what they would do after.
Fluttershy was driving off to Pinkie's house later that night. Unlike Rainbow or some of her other friends, she liked to go a bit slower than the speed sign for her own safety. Something that sometimes annoyed Rainbow in most cases. She kept her focus on the road as her headlights shined on them when suddenly, she spotted a small figure from the corner of her eye. She gasped as she drove past. What was that?! she pulled her car over to the side and wondered if she should go back and see what or who that was. She had seen the small figure in the alleyway. She decided to go back and check. She texted her friends telling them she was going to be a little late. She drove back to the alleyway and parked her car to the side. From her bag, she grabbed her flashlight and checked to see if it worked: It did. "Hello?!" she said softly. "Anyone there?!" there didn't seem to be any response. Fluttershy got a sick feeling in her stomach but gathered enough courage to go further down the alley. "Is...anyone here?" she asked again, but like before no answer. Suddenly she heard what appears to be a soft crying coming nearby. Her heart rate began to rise as she got closer and closer to the corner. The crying still soft but more audible. She peeked around and what she saw made her gasp. It was a small toddler. He had brown hair, blue t-shirt, light brown shorts, and tennis shoes. "Oh my goodness!" she gasped. The toddler held a small black duffel bag in his hands. As soon as he saw her, he yelped and dropped his bag. he ran behind the big trashcan and whimpered. "Wait! I'm not going to hurt you!" Fluttershy said. She picked up his bag and slowly walked torwads where he was hiding. He began to cry out loud.
"P-p-please don't hurt me," he whimpered. Fluttershy felt her heart break. This little toddler was terrified out of his mind. He acted like she was going to hurt him.
"Sweetheart, you can come out," she said gently. She tried to approach but he started to run away. "It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you." The boy heard and got out from his hiding place. He nervously walked torwads Fluttershy.
"Come here, Sweetie." she said. The boy came closer and pressed his head on her belly and hugged her waist. Her shirt getting wet from his tears. She wrapped her arms around him and tried to soothe his sobbing. "Shhh....shhhh it's okay, it's okay, don't cry, don't cry, baby." She rubbed his back trying to calm him down. She gave his bag back to him and asked, "What's your name?"
"Berry," he said nervously. Fluttershy smiled kindly.
"That's a lovley name, Berry. I'm Fluttershy. Do you need help finding your parents?" she asked, but Berry made a sad face and cried. Pressing his head against her belly. Where could his parents be? Shouldn't they be looking for him? "Awww you can't find your mommy and daddy?" Fluttershy cooed.
"No...because they're gone."
Fluttershy gasped. "Oh my goodness! Awwww poor baby." Fluttershy hushed as she came closer to him for a hug. She decided it was best to take him with her. She couldn't just leave him out here all alone. "Berry, would you like to come with me? I have friends over there and I know they would absolutley adore you."
Berry started to get scared but the Fluttershy's kindness was too much to not accept the offer. "They will?"
"Of course, sweetheart. They're really nice." Berry agreed and Fluttershy picked him up, suprised on how light he is and carried him to the car. She didn't have a car seat for him so she decided to drive slower to make sure he was safe.
While the girls waited for Fluttershy, they decided to watch some T.V Pinkie turned it on. It was on a news report. The headline "Scientist and Inventor Rosie Shine hints "Big Project" coming soon"
"Scientist and inventor, well I'll be!" AppleJack said. "And ah thought there couldn't be any more geniuses!" A young girl who was in her mid 20s had appeared on the news in an interview.
"I don't want to ruin the surprise yet, Mister. But I will tell you my big project is going to come as a shocker." Rosie smiled. "It will also involve some magic, you believe in magic don't you?"
"Well at first I didn't, but after seeing what you can accomplish, I'm a full blown believer now!" The interview said. The doorbell rang and Sunset went to answer the door.
"Hey, Fluttershy! What happened?"
"You're late too the party!" Rainbow playfully teased. "You gonna come in or what?" she said with a smirk. Sunset looked down and noticed Berry hiding behind Fluttershy's legs, blushing nervously.
"Awwwww who's the little cutie?" she cooed. Berry peeked around from Fluttershy's legs. "You don't need to be afraid." Berry heard and slowly approached the red head and hugged her. "Aren't you such a little wittle cutie?" she asked. She gave him a tender kiss on his cheek making him blush.
"Sunset, Rainbow, this is Berry. Berry this is Sunset Shimmer and Rainbow Dash," Fluttershy said introducing Berry to her friends. Berry shook like a leaf and whimpered. "He's really shy," Fluttershy explained. "You'll have to give him time to get comfortable with you. Fluttershy went inside with Berry following closely behind her. He was gettign scared in being in the presense of these unknown people. They went upstairs to Pinkie's room.
"Oh my you're quite late darling! Hope everything is alright!" Rarity said.
"AWWWWW and who's this sweet little thing?!" Fluttershy introduced Rarity to Berry and vice versa.
"And this is Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, and AppleJack."
"Hi," Berry said nervously.
"Well aren't you a little cutie?" Applejack asked. Berry hid behind Fluttershy's legs and continued to whimper.
"Awww, it's ok, Berry. She won't hurt you." Fluttershy said soothingly. Berry heard and slowly walked over to Applejack and hugged her waist and buried his head on her belly. The girls made an 'awwwww" reaction.
"Miss Fluttershy?"
"Sweetheart, you're very polite, but you don't have to call me Miss, Fluttershy is just fine. The same goes for the rest of us."
"ok," Berry said. He handed Fluttershy the DVD that was in his hand.
"What's this?" Fluttershy took the DVD and read the title. All it said was 'WATCH ME'. She put the DVD in the tape cassete and pressed play. The T.V came on and it showed a teen girl, with light brown hair like Berry. It looked like she was in an apartment. She was hugging Berry as he sobbed. The girl looked at the camera.
"If you are watching this, please listen carefully! The little boy you met is my little brother, and he's not just any ordinary human. He's one with powers. But unfortunatley, because of that, they are looking for him. They are intending to exploit his powers and to have him under thier control." The sound of banging could be heard. The girl seemed to be in a hurry to finish up. "Our parents our dead and I can't take care of him any longer because he is no longer safe here. I have tried to help the other kids escape, but it has gotten more risky." The sound of banging could be heard getting louder. "I have to go! Please take care of him! He's the most special boy there is!"
The T.V turned off and Berry began to cry out loud. The girls were surprised and shocked. Fluttershy put her hand over her mouth and stiffled a sob, Pinkie's hair turned flat as she felt a sadness in her, and Sunset, Twilight, and Rarity were lost beyond words.
"Oh my..." Rarity gasped. She saw Berry wailing and went over to him and gave him a comforting hug. "I am so sorry, darling. Don't cry. Everything is going to be alright..." Berry laid his head on Rarity's breast and whimpered. The fasion girl have him a kiss on the cheek as she continued to stroke his back and tried to calm his crying.
"I can't believe it!" Rainbow growled. "When I find who's behind this, I'm going to beat the ever living sh-" Rainbow quickly stopped herself to avoid cussing in front of Berry, who was being held Sunset's cradle. "Sorry. But whoever is behind this should be ashamed!"
"A person like that Is beyond horrible!" Rarity added on.
"Hey, Berry, you want something to drink?" Sunset asked trying to cheer him up. Berry nodded.
"Yes, please. What is there?"
"Well we have orange juice, applejuice, and cranberry."
"Can I have an orange juice please?" Berry asked. Sunset smiled warmly and went to the fridge and poured him a glass of orange juice. She walked over to Berry with the glass in her hand.
"Thank you," Berry said, but when he reached out to grab the glass cup, it flew off from Sunset's hand and fell on the ground, shattering the glass and spilling orange juice all over the floor. The girls gasped and Berry was terrified.
"I'm sorry! Please don't be mad!" He started crying and Sunset took Berry in her arms and gave him a hug.
"Berry it's ok, you did nothing wrong, it's ok."
"I think that's his powers," Rainbow pointed out. "And it's so cool!"
Berry started to get scared and whimper. Sunset continued to hug him. After calming down, Sunset went over and poured him another glass and gave it to him. This time it did not fly off her hand. Pinkie grabbed a broom and towel and cleaned up the mess.
"I guess his powers come and go at random," Rainbow guessed. "I wonder if he has any others."
"I'm not really sure,, but It's getting mighty late, how about we hit the sack," Applejack suggested. The girls agreed.
"Where am I sleeping?" Berry asked.
"Sugarcube you can sleep in the guestroom. Do you need help getting ready?"
"Yes, please," Berry said.
"I'll help him," Twilight volunteered. She took Berry and got him ready for bed.
Twilight was helping Berry with his bath. She first turned on the faucet and made sure the water was warm enough, then she helped take off his clotes and scrubbed his body with the sponge. Getting his upper and lower body front and back. Then she rinsed him off. After that, she got a towel and wrapped him in it.
She then took looked in the black bag and found a pair of pajamas for Berry. She helped him put it on. It had dinosaur imprints all over it. After that she got his toothbrush and helped brush his teeth. After they were done, it was time to get ready for bed.
Twilight took him to the guest bedroom and tucked him in.
"Twilight...Is something bad going to happen to me?" Berry had tears leaking from his eyes.
"Berry, sweetie you have nothing to worry about. You're totally safe here." She leaned forward and gave him a hug and kiss on the forehead. "Goodnight, little cutie. If you need anything just shout ok?"
Berry nodded. Twilight turned off the lights and left the room closing the door behind her.
Berry was having trouble sleeping as he tossed and turned in the bed. He was feeling a bit thirsty as his throat began to feel dry. He got out of bed, and quietly walked to the Kitchen to get a drink of water. He was about to approach the fridge when suddenly....Someone grabbed him from behind, and put their hand over his mouth.
"HELP! SOMEONE HELP!" Berry tried to cry out, but it came in muffles.
"Shut up, unless you don't want to get taken alive!" said an angry male voice. Berry started to scream in fear as he was being dragged out the front door.
"PLEASE NO! DON'T TAKE ME PLEASE!" Berry begged, but his captor ignored his pleas as Berry tried kicking and screaming, but it was useless.
"SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!" Berry called out one more time.
Berry awoke from his nightmare as he saw Fluttershy shaking him awake. He started to cry as tears streamed down his cheeks and Fluttershy wrapped her arms around him in an embrace, trying to calm the poor boy. Her shirt getting wet from his tears as she continued to hug him.
"Th-THEY WERE TAKING ME AWAY!" Berry screamed.
"Shhhh.....shhhh it's ok, Berry. I'm here. It's ok Did you have a nightmare?"
Berry nodded and continued to cry.
"Would you like to tell me about it?"
"I *sniff* was going to get a drink of water and *sniff* someone tried to take me! They were going to take me away! BUT I DON'T WANNA GO!" Berry sobbed and Fluttershy hugged him tightly.
"Don't cry...don't cry, It's over. It's all over."
"C-can I sleep with you please? I'm scared..." Berry whimpered. Fluttershy looked at his sad eyes. She gave him a kiss on the forehead.
"Of course you can, sweetheart."
Fluttershy held Berry in her arms as she carried him over to the other room.
"hey Fluttershy, everything alright?" Applejack had came up to them.
"We're fine, Applejack. This little one just had a nightmare." Applejack looked at Berry who was whimpering into Fluttershy's shoulder. She told her about Berry's nightmare and Applejack felt sorry for him.
"Awww I'm sorry about, sugarcube. I know how you must feel."
Berry still cried and Fluttershy continued to try and calm him down. She carried him to her sleeping bag and they got in together. Berry hugged her waist as he laid his head on her belly, making the girl blush. She wrapped her arms around him and pulled him close to her, being careful not to hurt him. Once Berry started to calm down in Fluttershy's embrace, the girl kissed him on the cheek and continued to hold him in an embrace for the rest of the night.
Unbeknownst to anyone, an Owl had been watching them from through the window, from outside. It had saw everything from the time Fluttershy found Berry to him being held in the girl's embrace. It made a 'Hoo' sound as it flew off.
Sunset was the first one to wake up. She yawned and got out from her sleeping bag. She looked around and saw the other girls and Berry were still asleep. She quietly went out the room and went downstairs. As she went into the living room, she gasped as she saw someone sitting on the couch.
"Mornin, sleepy head!" the uninvited guest grinned. He looked like he was around Shining Armor's age. He had dark gray hair and a pair of vintage glasses. He wore a casual light gray blazer and black pants. "You left the front door unlocked."
"What the-"
"Now I know what you're thinking," The guy interrupted. "Your probably going to say, 'what the hell are you doing here?' Well don't worry I'm not here to kill you...that is if I don't have to." It did not escape Sunset's notice that in his right pocket is what appears to be the handle of a gun.
"Why are you here?" Sunset asked beginning to get angry. "No one said you could come in!"
"Oh my! I am so sorry I have terrible manners!" The young man laughed. "My name's Chaotic Cane, or you can call me Chaos. I had just been informed that a three year old boy was here so just gladly hand him over and we'll call it good, ok?"
"And why would I do that?" Sunset questioned raising her eyebrow. Chaos sighed.
"Because that boy is dangerous. The power he has can go to his head, and one day he will hurt you all. I'm only trying to prevent those terrible things from happening to you or any of your friends."
"HEY! Who do you think you are thinking you can come in here, huh?!" Rainbow seethed. She had just woken up and noticed Chaos.
"And he is not dangerous! The only person here that's considered a threat is you!" Sunset shouted.
"Who are you?" Fluttershy was the next to come down. She held Berry in her arms. Chaos saw the child and smirked.
"Perfect, just who I was looking for." He went over to take Berry who started to get scared and whimper, but Rainbow stepped in front of Fluttershy.
"Don't even think about taking him unless you want to know what real pain feels like!" She threatened.
"Calm down, I'm only asking for a little cooperation."
The rest of the girls started to come downstairs. Needless to say, they all had similar reactions. Chaos could tell he was getting nowhere.
"Leave now before I call the cops!" Applejack growled. Chaos sighed.
"Alright, since you girls love him so much. But I'll be back and don't say I didn't warn you if he hurts all of you!" He took out a card. "If you change your mind, just give me a call." he smiled and left after he tossed the card on the floor. Sunset picked it up and read it.
"What does it say?" Rainbow asked.
"It says that he's the Director of a company called the BlazeCorps." Sunset answered. "No idea what that is." There's a phone number here. Probably his."
"Why was he here?" Fluttershy wondered.
"I don't know, but I think he had something to do with that video," Twilight guessed.
"Looks like someone is hungry!" Pinkie giggled as she heard Berry's stomach growl. He blushed with embrassment and she gave him some tickles causing him to laugh. "Who's a hungry little baby? You are! You are!" she cooed.
"You guys, how about we grab something at the mall?" Sunset suggested.
"I think that' a marvelous idea. Why we can even buy some new clothes for the little one!" Rarity agreed. But Berry looked down and shook his head.
"What's wrong? Aww are you afraid of going out?" Twilight asked.
"I don't wanna go...what if they find me?" Berry muttered. Sunset gave him a hug.
"Don't sorry, sweetie. We'll make sure nothing happens to you."
"Yeah! If anyone tries to take you, they have us to deal with!" Rainbow retorted. "Because like you, we also have powers!"
"Really?"
"I can lift really heavy things," AppleJack said as she demonstrated with a piece of furniture that would have been impossible for a normal person to lift.
"I can make diomand projections," Rarity said and created a little diomand show for Berry as he giggled with glee.
"I can talk to animals," Fluttershy said softly.
"I can read people's mind when I touch them with my hand," Sunset said.
"I can make sweet things explode!" Pinkie chirped.
"I can move objects without contact like you," Twilight said with a smile.
"And I can run really fast! And I mean REALLY fast!" Rainbow smirked and lifted Berry up and put him on her shoulder. "You wanna go for a joyride, kid? Hold on tight!"
"Rainbow, no!" Fluttershy gasped. Rainbow rolled her eyes.
"Relax, Fluttershy, I'm not going to go that fast, ok?"
Applejack gave her a warning glare. "It's very dangerous for someone like Berry to go at ten thousand miles per hour!"
"I didn't say we were going that speed. I was only thinking like five thousand." Rainbow argued.
"Rainbow, just please don't do it. You're going to hurt him." Fluttershy said. Berry started to cry as he heard the word "hurt".
Rarity rushed over to him and held him in her arms as she gave him a hug.
"Shhh...Shhhh it's ok. No one is hurting you. Calm down." Berry calmed down and Sunset looked at her phone.
When they arrived at the Mall they went to the food court and ordered thier food. Rarity ordered eggs with sasuage, Twilight ordered frenchtoast and so did Pinkie. Applejack ordered hashbrowns, Sunset had a eggs and bacon, Rainbow ordered an omelette, and Fluttershy had a breakfast burrito.
"Would you like anything, darling?" Rarity asked Berry.
"Yes, please. Can I have a kids egg and bacon?" he pointed to it on the kids menu.
"Of course you can." Rarity smiled. She told the waiter to add it to the order and he came back with thier food. The girls ate and Berry ate like he had never eaten before.
"Slow down there, buddy!" Rainbow laughed. "Or you'll get a stomach cramp!"
"You like it?" Sunset giggled.
Berry nodded, then he went over to Sunset and gave her belly a hug.
"Awwwwww," the girls exclaimed. Sunset stroked his hair.
"You really are a cute little one, aren't you?"
"You guys look!" Rainbow showed them her phone.
"Remember that girl we saw on T.V? It says here that she'll be doing a meet and greet later today, at this mall!"
"Well that's splendid! I would love to make her aquaintance!" Rarity mused. She looked at Berry. "When we're done. Do you want something new to wear?"
"Yes, please!" Berry said happily. After they were done eating, Berry went with Rarity and Sunset to the nearby clothes store to try on some new fits.
"Hello, is there anything I can help with you today?" the salesperson greeted them as they entered.
"Yes, do you know where the clothes for three year olds will be at?" Rarity asked. The salesperson pointed further down.
"It's all the way down there. Is there anything else?"
"No, that's all thank you."
Rarity, Sunset, and Berry went to the end and saw all kinds of clothes.
"Oh my look at all this!" Rarity gasped.
Berry was busy looking at a light blue jacket his size. He went over to Rarity and gently tugged her skirt. He showed her the jacket.
"You want that?" Rarity asked kindly. Berry gave a short nod.
"Alright then, and what about some new pants?" Rarity grabbed a few shorts from the shelves and they headed over to the changing room. Berry tried on his new jacket with a pair of shorts. He went out and Rarity and Sunset gasped.
"Oh look at the handsome little one!" Rarity gasped. Berry's pants was falling a little bit around his waist.
"Oh it looks like it's too big. Don't worry I know what to get." Rarity got up and grabbed a small belt from the rack, but when she walked torwads the Berry with the belt in her hands, he screamed and hid behind Sunset's legs and began to cry.
"PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!" Berry cried out loud Sunset quickly hugged him tightly.
"No, Berry. She's not going to hit you, it's ok, it's ok, shhh" Sunset shushed him but Berry still continued to cry pressing his head on her legs. "Rarity I think he's had a bad history with belts. We should probably just get shorts that fit better."
Rarity put the belt back and went to get some new pair of shorts. "Berry? You can come here now."
Berry slowly peeked around Sunset's legs with tears in his eyes. He slowly walked torwards Rarity and the fasion girl scooped him up and held him in and he rested his head on her breast. "Oh, I'm sorry I scared you, Berry darling." Rarity apologized. After rubbing his back, he began to calm down as he hugged her neck. "Here, why don't you try these on?" Rarity went into the changing room with Berry and helped him try it on. After trying on all of them, it fitted perfectly.
"And how about some swim trunks for when we go to the beach?" Rarity asked.
"The beach?" Berry asked confused. Rarity gasped.
"You mean you never been to the beach before?" Berry shook his head sadly.
"I don't think I've been anywhere before..."
"Well I think you'll love it." Berry went with Rarity to the swimwear for toddler's section. She picked out a pair of swim trunks she thought Berry might like. She showed it to him. "Do you like it?" It was a pair of swimtrunks with little sharks imprited all over it.
"Yes! Yes!" Berry said as he jumped up and down excitedly. "Can I have it, please?"
"Alright then," Rarity said as she took the swimtrunks to purchase them along with his new clothes.
They went to the front cashier and made thier purchase.
"That'll be forty seven dollars and ninety two cents." The cashier told them. Rarity handed him three 20s. "Thank you very much, and here's your change, twelve dollars and eight cents." He handed Rarity her change. "Would you like a reciept?"
"Yes, I would thank you." The cashier handed her the reciept.
"Thank you for shopping you have a nice day."
Rarity took the purchases and they went out the clothes store. They saw Rainbow running torwards them.
"You guys! You gotta come quick! She's here!" Rainbow said excitedly.
"You mean-"
"Yes! That girl on T.V! There's already a big crowd around her! The other's are already meeting her."
They went over to where the large crowd was, ready to meet this new girl for the first time.
After waiting for a while, Sunset finally saw the new girl. She was being guarded by two men in a suit. She must be famous, she thought.
"Oh hi there!" The new girl said as she approached Sunset with Berry in her arms. "It's great to meet you!" Sunset and the girl shook hands. "I'm Rosie Shine or Rose by the way."
"Sunset Shimmer," The fire haired girl introduced herself. "And this is Rarity," she said pointing to her friend.
Rose noticed the child in Sunset's arms. "Awwww, and who is this cute munchkin?"
Berry started to get scared as he whimpered while hugging Sunset's neck.
"This is Berry. He's the sweetest little thing I ever met," Sunset said affectionatley.
"So you into the science magic, is that right?" Rarity asked.
"That's correct. I'm an inventor, well my father was one and I helped him with a lot of his inventions. After he passed away, I promised him I would continue on his legacy for him.
"That's really sweet of you," Rarity said. "So what kinds of things do you invent?"
"Well I invent things such as teleportation machines, cloning machines, and more...well actually no time machines. Even I don't know how to make one yet."
"Impressive," Sunset said. It was then her other friends came by.
"Oh and it's great to meet you all too!" Rose said cheerfully.
"Rose, this is Twilight, Pinkie, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow." Sunset said introducing Rose to the rest of her friends.
"Sunset, can we go home please? I don't feel good being out here." Berry asked.
"You're right," Sunset agreed. "We hate to cut this short but we must go," she told Rose who smiled warmly.
"Well it was great to meet all of you. I look forward to seeing you next time, goodbye!"
The Mane 7 and Berry left the mall and got back in the car. They put Berry's new clothes in the back and Applejack got in the driver's seat. Then they headed back home.
"Well she was really kind," Fluttershy said.
"I don't know..." Sunset began to say. "There's something off about her..."
"Oh relax Sunset. You're worrying too much! If she was another siren, we would have saw a pendant around her neck!" Rainbow scoffed.
"Still...I think think there's something off." Sunset wondered. "But maybe your right. Not everyone new we meet is a threat."
"Yeah! The boy who went inside the house uninvited is a threat! It's obvious! but Rose is totally threat free." Rainbow told her. They contined to drive all the way home.
The mane 7 and Berry had arrived home and parked the car. Applejack carried Berry's new outfits inside and put them on the table.
"Here you go, sugarcube."
Berry excitedly ran over to Applejack and took his jacket and put it on. Then he gave the farm girl's waist a hug.
"Hey, Berry do you want to go to the park later tonight?" Fluttershy asked.
"Can we go tomorrow? I'm getting tired."
"You're right. We are kinda beat down."
Berry went over to Twilight. "Can you show me your powers please?" he asked with cuteness. Twilight smiled and used her powers to gently lift him up from the floor without touching him. She giggled as she spun him around and Berry giggled with glee.
"My, you really are a precious one aren't you?" Rarity cooed. Berry blushed and Twilight put him down carefully.
"How about we watch a movie?" Rainbow suggested. She had a few DVDs in her hand. "I bought a couple of movies while you were going clothes shopping." She laid out the DVDs out in front of them. Applejack carefully looked at them.
"You make sure these are safe for Berry to watch?"
"Totally! All of them are rated PG. What movie do you want to watch, kid?" Rainbow asked Berry. He walked over to where the DvDs were at and picked out one. It was 'How to Train Your Dragon 2'. Rainbow smirked.
"Great choice, kid. This one is real classic. Have you seen it before?"
"Rainbow, if he's seen it before, why would he want to watch it?" Rarity asked.
"Because sometimes people like watching the same movies more than once."
"That's only you, Rainbow. Like when you made us watch Daring Do with you even though we did like four times."
"hehe...i know."
Rainbow put in the DVD and the screen where the play button and options appeared.
"You want captions on, kid?" she asked.
"No thank you," Berry responded. Rainbow hit play and the movie began to play.
While they watched the movie, Berry enjoyed it overall but he sometimes got scared of some of the dragons, but he liked the blue dragon named 'Toothless'. There was a massive creature called the Bewilderbeast and he started to whimper when he saw it. What Berry was most terrified of though was a huge guy in armour and a big beard and dreadlocks. He had a bullwhip in his hands as he screamed at one of the dragons. Berry started to sob and Sunset wrapped her arms around him and hugged him tightly.
"It's ok, sweetie. It's only a movie," she shushed him quietly. Berry hugged her tightly and Sunset continued to stroke his hair and back. Twilight levitated a bag of popcorn over to him. He grabbed a few pieces and she levitated it back. After the movie ended, the credits rolled and Rainbow turned back on the lights.
"Well that was something. Did you like it?" she asked Berry. He nodded and yawned. Pinkie looked at the clock.
"Well what do you know? It's already half-past eleven! You guys can stay another night if you want."
"I don't see why not," Applejack said. "But I better call Granny Smith and let her know so she doesn't freak out." She took her phone and dialed. The rest of the girls called thier parents to let them know. They had all been given the O.K. Berry noticed that Sunset wasn't calling on her phone.
"Sunset...are you're parent's gone too?" he asked. Sunset kneeled down to his level. She chuckled.
"I guess that's something we both have in common. But I'm not sure if my parents are really gone. It's just that I was never close to them." Berry gave Sunset a hug to try and make her feel better.
"Awwwww," Fluttershy gasped.
"Thanks, Sweetie," Sunset smiled as she kissed Berry on the forehead.
"Can I sleep with you, please?" Berry asked. "I don't want to be taken away."
"Most definitley you can," Sunset said. "And we'll make sure every door and window is locked to make sure no creep can get in. Now come on, let's get you ready." She carried Berry in her arms and took him upstairs to the bathroom. She helped take off his clothes and turned on the water waiting for it to be warm enough for Berry to get in. After that, she poured the soap on the sponge and scrubbed all over his body. Sunset then tickled him under his armpits and he began to laugh out loud. "Oh my goodness someone make him stop laughing," she said sarcastically. She rinsed him off and wrapped him in a towel. After that she helped him get changed into his pajamas. Then it was time to hit the sack. Berry went into Sunset's sleeping bag with her and Sunset wrapped her arms around him and pulled him closer for and embrace. "Goodnight, little one." she said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek. Berry curled up with Sunset as he hugged her belly and drifted off to sleep.
Pinkie went around the house triple checking that all doors and windows were locked. "Locked, locked, and locked!" she said to herself making sure every way to get in was locked. After she was done checking, she got into her sleeping bag and turned off the lights. "Good night everyone!"
"I wasn't able to get the boy, but I'm not going to give up that easily. He's at some house with seven teenage girls." Chaos was on the phone with someone. He waited for an answer. The voice on the other end sounded like a female's.
"Don't worry too much about it. I don't need him right now. Next time bring some help with you so it will be easier." the voice said.
"Will do. I'll report anything that happens."
"Good."
The person who was on the other end ended the call and Chaos grinned like a shark. You better watch out, Berry! I'm coming for you!
"And here's your pancakes, Berry," Fluttershy said a she lid the pancakes from the pan onto Berry's plate. Berry tried it and was amazed how good it tasted.
"This is so good, Flutterhy. Thank you!" he happily said. Fluttershy smiled and kissed him on the forehead.
"You're welcome, sweetie. Would you like some syrup?"
"Yes, please." Berry nodded.
"Are you ready to go to the beach today?"
Berry put down his fork. "Rarity told me about it yesterday, she said it's really fun."
"It is! It's where you swim with all the little fishies!" Fluttershy said. "Now eat up. We've got a big day."
Berry finished his pancakes and syrup and put the dishes in the sink. After that, Fluttershy gave him his swim trunks and told him to get changed. Berry went upstairs into the guestroom to get changed. After he was done, he came out wearing his new shark swim trunks. Then it was the girl's turn to change. After they got done changing. They came out in thier swimsuits.
Sunset had a black crop top bikini with a golden sun symbol, a sunset gradient sun skirt around her waist, and gold bracelets. Rarity had a purple bikini with black stripes and two sapphires in at the top and bottom, a black beachwear hat with purple straps and a blue gem, and a sapphire blue linen knotted sun skirt around her waist. Rainbow wore a sleeveless swim shirt with ligtning bolts and pink swim trunks and black stripes.
Pinkie had a pink top with a golden bow and an orange heart in the center, and a tutu on the bottom as well as three gold bows on the waistband. Fluttershy had a surfer swimsuit and Applejack had a navy blue cropped long sleeve swim shirt and an apple in the center. Twilight wore a purple skirt swimsuit with a sky blue and white top with a magenta star in the center.
"You ready to go, sport?" Rainbow asked with a smirk. Berry jumped up and down excitedly.
"I'll take that as a yes. Now let's go!"
"Did we make sure we have everything?" Twilight asked.
"Yeah, yeah I think we got everything. Snacks, sunscreen, and other stuff we might need. No need to worry, Twilight!"
They went into the car and began to drive into the beach. Applejack was at the driver side and Berry sat near the window. As he looked out the window, he thought of how much he misses his family. His parents and sister. His eyes began to leak tears as they fell down on his cheeks. Twilight noticed him crying.
"Are you thinking about your parents, bug?" she asked softly. Berry had tears in his eyes as he nodded. "Come here," Twilight said as she motioned him to come over for a hug. Berry laid his head on Twilight's belly and hugged her tightly. "There, there it's ok. I know you miss them, but they're not really gone." She pointed her finger at Berry's heart. "Even if they're physically gone, they're still here with you in there. Do you understand?" Berry smiled and nodded. He hugged Twilight again and she hugged him back.
"Are we almost there yet?"
"It's going to take awhile. How about you take a little nap?" Twilight patted her lap. "You can rest your head here."
Berry laid his head on Twilight's lap and closed his eyes for a nap. She stroked his hair gently.
"This one seems to be able to fire projectile beams of flames from his hands," a man said pointing to a child who seemed like he was 8 years old. Chaos stood next to the man and looked at the child. They and the child were seperated by a large glass window and the child was on the other side. There were inside some sort of facility. There were life-size dummies all around and the child blasted each and everyone of them with his fire beam.
"Very nice," Chaos said still looking at the child. "I'm sure we'll make a good profit when we sell him." He went inside the room and the child stopped firing. It seemed like he was backing away fearfully from Chaos as he grinned like a shark and advanced torwards the child. "Ok, kid. Now we're going to see how you compete against the others."
"C-Compete?" The child asked nervously. Chaos laughed.
"Yeah! You know a competetion! Winner takes all that sort of thing!"
"On what?" the child asked. "What am I competeting for?"
"Oh you'll see," Chaos shark grin grew even wider. "Follow me," he ordered. The child reluctantly followed him into the next room. "You and another will compete against each-other. Winner is the one who's still alive."
"W-what? You mean-"
"That's right. A fight to the death," Chaos said noncholantly. The black haired child tried to make a run for it but was captured by Chaos's guards as they picked him up and carried him to the room while he screamed for help. Chaos ignored him whispered to his ear. "And if you both refuse, then you and the other can expect to be part of many more expirements I have in mind."
The child's heart dropped to his stomach. The 'expirements' were never pleasant. Hell, they were downrigh torturous! Burning, electrocuting, chemicals, and more. Most children who were unlucky enough to get subjected to these tortures....did not make it. He gulped. "I-I don't think I'm not ready yet. I need more training!"
"Nonsense! I saw you and you were doing a fantastic job!" Chaos laughed. "Now let's wait for your opponent."
Two guards came in escorting another 8 year old. It was another boy, who looked just as terrfied as the other child. "This is the that's competing. He can fire electricity from his hands," One of the guards said.
"Why are you doing this?" The first child asked.
"We only want the best of people like you. If we want to make a good profit, we better make sure everything we sell is top quality. And there's no better way for that than a good old competetion!" Chaos joyfully said. The guards threw the child in the room and now both children were inside. Chaos looked at them. "You may begin whenever you're ready." He left the room but not before saying to one of his guards. "Report to me the results when they are done."
The guards nodded. "Will do."
Chaos left the room without another word and made a whistle. A white throated needle-tail swooped down and landed on his shoulder.
"Find exactly where those girls and especially that boy is. Report to me as soon as you see where they are at." he told the animal. It obeyed and took off for it's search.
"And here we are!" Applejack said as she pulled in the parking lot that was at the beach.
"Berry, get up sweetie. We're here." Twilight said as she gently shook Berry's shoulder. He made a cute yawn and the girls could not help but make an 'awwww' reaction. As they parked, Sunset stepped out of the car.
"Woah!" she exclaimed as he legs felt like jelly. They had fallen asleep.
"You alright there?" Rarity asked.
"Yeah, I think I just sat in one position for too long," Sunset said as she tried to walk around getting the blood flow back to her legs again.
"Is this the beach?" Berry asked. He had woken up from his nap. Rarity kneeled down.
"It most definitley is, but first you need to put on some sunscreen."
"Don't worry, I got you!" Pinkie exclaimed as she took out a cupcake from her hair.
"Umm Pinkie? He needs to put on actually sunscreen," Applejack pointed out.
"What do you mean? This is like sunscreen!"
"Use this, please." Applejack handed Pinkie a bottle of regular 70 SPF sunscreen. "We don't even know if your 'cupcake' sunscreen even works."
"Alright," Pinkie sighed. She took the bottle and squeezed some on her hands. She went over to Berry. "Alright now close your eyes." she instructed as she put the sunscreen on his face, back and front, including his legs. After she was done with Berry, the rest of the girls put sunscreen on themselves. Then it was time to hit the waters.
"Berry have you swam before?" Sunset asked him.
"No...I don't even know what that is."
"Come on. We'll show you how to swim. You'll love it!" Berry took Sunset's hand as they ran torwards the beach with the others.
"Sunset? Where is everybody?" Berry asked looking around. He noticed no one else was on the beach.
"yeah that is weird. Usually the beach is packed. But I guess this is one of the few times we get to have it to ourselves! Now come let's go swimming!" Sunset and Berry approached the water where the other girls were already in The waves started to come torwards them. Berry started to whimper.
"Awww it's ok, baby. It's just water. See?" Sunset made a few splish splash and playfully flicked some of the water on Berry as he giggled. "See? It's not dangerous at all! Don't worry I'll hold you." Sunset lifted Berry up. "Hold on tight," she instructed. She and Berry went into the waters while Sunset held Berry so he wouldn't drown. "You like it?" she asked.
Berry was a bit scared of being in a place he had never been to before.
"Hey, squirt! Glad you can join us!" Rainbow said as she playfully ruffled his hair. If you want you can join us over there," she pointed to where the other girls were at. They were farther down the deep end.
"We'll join you." Sunset told Rainbow. "And don't worry. If you feel scared just tell me and we'll go back ok?" Berry nodded and tightly held on to Sunset as they went further in.
After a few hours of swimming, Berry was beginning to feel exhasusted and so did the other girls.
"Wooo wheee I am beat!" Applejack panted. "And I can tell this little sugar cube is too!" she looked at Berry who could barely keep his eyes open. "How about we take a little break?" The girls agreed. Berry still hung on to Sunset as they swam torwards the shore. They began to dry off with thier towels.
Rarity handed Berry a little one and helped him dry off. "You want a snack, darling?" she offered.
"Yes, thank you."
Rarity handed him a bag of chips and a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich. He ate it and gave her belly a hug.
"You're very welcome, darling."
"You guys look!" Rainbow said suddenly she pointed to a bird that was perched on top of the tree. It seemed like it was watching them.
"Oh that's a white throated needle-tail. They're one of the fastest birds even animals on this planet." Twilight informed her. "They can reach up to speeds of over 100 miles per hour."
"wow, I wonder what it's doing here," Fluttershy wondered. "I would talk to it, but it's too far away." The bird then took off and flew away.
"Probably going back to it's home," Sunset guessed.
"Now of course I don't just show my inventions off just to show them off," Rosie said with a smile. She was in front of a building. She turned to the crowd. "I'm going to give them to you guys!" She held up her first invention. It looked like a small cuboidal objects with buttons on top. "This is a teleporting device. It lets you teleport anywhere within a ten mile radius," she explained. "And like always the highest bid wins."
"five hundred grand!" someone shouted.
"Is that all you got? Pathetic!" another shouted. "I'll pay one million for it!"
"How about ten million?!" a third one shouted.
Rose chuckled. "Oooh ok anyone else? Going once...going twice..." When the next person didn't bid a higher price, Rose took that as a signal. "SOLD!" she pointed to the man who had a briefcase in his hand. She walked over to the man with the invention in her hand and the man gave her the briefcase. She opened it up and inside were stacks of hundreds and thousans worth of cash. "Thank you very much," she said politley.
"No, thank you." the guy smiled. "This will come in handy in so many situations! You really do have a kind heart, Rose."
"Awww thanks!"
After the guy left she held up her next invention. It looked like a plasma gun. "This isn't a plasma gun, if that's what you're thinking." she explained. "It's a cloning machine. Watch." She demonstrated by zapping a nearby woman and now there were two of them. They looked at eachother confused and shocked.
"Again, the highest bid wins."
"30 million!" a woman shouted from the crowd. She even showed Rose the briefcase full of cash.
"I will pay 100 million for that!" said the woman in the front.
"Anyone else?" Rosie asked. "Going once, going twice........SOLD!" She gave the device to the woman and the woman handed her the briefcase. "Thank you, ma'am." She said warmly. She looked at the crowd. "That will be all for today, everyone but don't worry. We'll do this again soon." The crowd understood and started to go home.
The girls and Berry were getting ready to head home when a couple vans pulled up.
"Berry, stay behind me!" Fluttershy whispered. Berry didn't need to be told twice as he hid behind her legs. The driver side door of the van on the farthest left opened and the figure stepped outside. When the girls saw who it was they all had angry expressions.
"You!" Rainbow growled. "What do you want?!"
"I told you I'll be back," Chaos said calmly as he snapped his fingers and more people started to come out of the vans. They all wielded guns and pointed it at the Rainbooms. "Now you can be good cooperative girls and hand the kid over or we will kill you. Your choice." He chuckled darkly.
"Now you crossed the line!" Applejack seethed while cracking her knuckles. Chaos pulled out his gun and was about about to pull the trigger but Rainbow was faster than him as she used her speed powers to grab the gun before he could shoot. This caught him off guard and Rainbow kicked him sending him flying back a few feet.
"Kill them!" He ordered his men as they started to fire thier guns. Rarity conjured a diamond forcefield around them, protecting from the projectile bullets.
"You can't stay in there forever!" Chaos laughed cruelly. He continued to shoot the force field repeatedly.
Rarity struggled to keep up the barrier. "I can't hold it up for much longer!" She gasped.
"Come on out!" Chaos taunted. "I'll tell you what, hand over the boy and we'll let you go."
"Absolutely not!" Rarity yelled but she didn't know long she can keep the barrier up.
Chaos grinned and took out an object. He hurled it at the diamond barrier. Rarity looked down and screamed in horror.
"IT'S A BOMB!"
Sunset hugged Berry tightly and the girls braced themselves as the bomb exploded breaking the barrier causing the girls to fly off in multiple directions. Chaos immediately grabbed Berry but the little boy tried to run away. Chaos caught up and threw Berry on the ground. He started to drag him away towards the van, but Twilight wasn't making it easy.
"Let him go you sick psycho!" She screamed. She used her magic to fling Chaos away but she wasn't done. She then slammed him aganist the van multiple times and threw him on the ground. The latter groaning in pain. Chaos's henchmen continued to fire thier guns and Applejack went behind one of them, flipped him over and slammed him on the ground, knocking the wind out of him. Rainbow used her speed to get behind one of them and she grabbed the arm holding the gun and steered it to shoot the other guards, killing them.
Chaos got up. His body bruised and bloody. He gave the Rainbooms a look of hatred. "You're making a grave mistake."
Rainbow cracked her knuckles. "No you're the one making a mistake messing with the wrong people!"
Before Chaos could say anything he was hit in the back of the head and was knocked out by a rifle that flew towards his direction. He fell face first on the sand.
"Nice one, Twi!" Rainbow cheered.
"I didn't do that," Twilight said.
"Wait then who-"
The girls gasped when they turned to look at Berry.
"I'm sorry! Please don't be mad!" He cried.
"Are you kidding me? That was awesome!" Rainbow cheered happily. "You really showed that sick person not to mess with us!"
The other men decided it was a good time to retreat for now as they dragged the unconscious Chaos to the van and hurriedly got back in thier veichles and drove off.
"I believe something like that deserves a celebration," Sunset beamed. "Would you like to get some ice cream?"
"Yes I would thank you!" Berry said excitedly.
After making sure everyone was OK, they got back in the car and drove off.
"Can I have a chocolate ice cream scoop in a cup, please?" Berry asked. The woman who was working the cashier smiled and nodded. She had light grayish crimson pink striped hair, pale grayish cyan skin, magenta eyes and wore a yellow polo dress, a white apron with pink overalls and cupcakes imprinted on the side, pink pearl earrings, and white high heels.
"Of course dear. Coming right up!" Berry went to the table where the girls were at. His eyes looking for a place to sit but he couldn't find any.
"Come here, sugarcube, you can sit on my lap," Applejack said as Berry walked over torwards her. The farmgirl picked him up and place him on her lap. Mrs. Cake walked over to the girls with thier icecream and milkshakes.
"Here you go. I hope you enjoy,"
Applejack handed Berry a small plastic spoon and he began to eat his ice cream. When he tried it he smiled with delight.
"You like it?" Applejack asked.
"I do!" Berry said happily. He had never tasted ice cream this good before. The girls giggled. Berry then put down his fork and looked down.
"That's a great question, Berry. How did Chaos find us?" Fluttershy wondered too. "You don't think Rose has something to do with it, do you?"
"No, we didn't even tell her where we were going..." Rainbow muttered. "But it is strange though how he knew."
Berry and the girls finished thier ice cream and shakes and Sunset went up to pay for them. After she was done, they started to head back home.
As they arrived to Pinkie's house, the girls went inside and packed thier bags to go back to thier homes.
Fluttershy was packing her bags when she felt a soft tug on her skirt. She looked down and saw Berry.
"Fluttershy, where am I going to go?"
Fluttershy thought for a while and told him, "If you want, you can come with me," she told him.
"ok,"Berry said. "Do you need help?"
"Oh no, I'm fine, but thank you for asking," she smiled. She bent down and kissed him on the cheek. After Fluttershy and the girls were done packing thier belongings, they waved goodbye to each other and Fluttershy took Berry with her.
"And here we are," Fluttershy said as she and Berry approached her house. Berry hid behind Fluttershy's legs and whimpered slightly. The girl put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, sweetie. My parents will understand when I explain everything." They went inside and were greeted by Fluttershy's parents. Her mother had red hair and wore a light blue blouse and jeans. Her father had white creamy hair and wore a blue collar shirt and jeans.
"Hey, Pumpkin!" Her father greeted as they walked in. "How was your sleepover?"
"It was fine, Dad," Fluttershy said. Her father noticed Berry hiding behind Fluttershy's legs.
"And who is this young man?"
"Dad, this is Berry. Me and my friends found him at Pinkie's house."
"My, he's so cute!" Her mother gasped. Berry hid behind Fluttershy's legs. Meeting new people made him scared. "Aww don't be scared," Mrs. Shy said smoothly.
"Berry, you can come out," Fluttershy said softly. The boy nervously peeked around and looked at the man and woman. He slowly went infront of Fluttershy and gave a nervous wave.
"Hi," he said nervously.
"Awww, you don't have to be scared, sweetheart," Mrs. Shy reassured as she went over and picked up Berry from under his armpits. She turned to her daughter. "So how did you find him? Do you know where his parents are at?"
Fluttershy had a sad expression on her face as she told her parents about Berry's past. The death of his parents (though the cause is still unknown), and how he was abused and tormented for his super powers.
"Oh my...I am so sorry!" Mrs. Shy put a hand over her mouth. "that must have been awful!"
Berry started to cry and Mrs. Shy rubbed his back. "It's gonna be, ok and do you really have super powers?"
"He does, it doesn't show up often though," Fluttershy answered. She took Berry back in her arms.
"Well he's welcome to stay here as long as he needs. There's a spare guestroom upstairs." Mr. Shy beamed. Berry started to yawn and his eyes were getting heavy.
"Looks like the little one is tired," Fluttershy said softly. She took Berry up to the guest room and tucked him under the bed covers. She kissed his forehead. "I'll let you know when dinner is ready, ok?"
"ok," Berry said tiredly. He closed his eyes and Fluttershy quietly left the room leaving the door slightly open behind her.
The sound of Berry's stomach growling started to wake him up. He tried to ignore it and keep on sleeping but his stomach was telling him he needed to eat something. He woke up with a yawn and went downstairs to the dining room and saw food being set.
"Hey, kiddo!" Mr. Shy said. "You're just in time. Why don't you join us for dinner?"
"Ok," Berry said. He went to the bathroom to wash his hands and went to the dining table. Fluttershy came by and Berry held out his arms.
"Aww, do you want to sit with me?" Fluttershy asked kindly. Berry nodded and she picked him up and sat down at a seat with him on her lap. He hugged her stomach and Fluttershy hugged him back. She noticed a few tears leaking from his eyes and knew he was thinking about his family. She gently stroked his hair and whispered, "don't cry, sweetie. I know you miss them, but they wouldn't want to see you sad would they?"
"No," Berry said. Mr. And Mrs. Shy came over to the table and they began to eat. It was steak and mushrooms with potato salad. While they ate Mrs. Shy asked her daughter,
"What kind of powers does the little guy have?"
Fluttershy looked up from her plate. "Oh, he can move objects around without making contact with them."
"You mean like one of your friends you told me about? Twinkle Sprinkle?"
"It's Twilight Sparkle," Fluttershy corrected. "And yes, it's exactly like her powers, except unlike Twilight, he can't do it at command."
"Interesting so does he have any other powers?" Mrs. Shy asked.
"No, I don't think so...that or it hasn't shown up yet."
Fluttershy cut some steak pieces for Berry and he grabbed his fork and began to eat them.
"You like it?" she asked.
"I love it!" Berry said happily. Fluttershy patted his head and she and her parents continued to eat together. After they ate, they cleaned up and put the dishes in the sink. Fluttershy got up to do the dishes. She put Berry down and he went over to Mrs. Shy and held out his arms. The woman smiled warmly and placed him on her lap. After Fluttershy was done, she took Berry back in her arms. He started to yawn.
"Looks like it's time to get ready for bed," Mr. Shy said looking at the clock. He looked over at Berry who was buried his head on Fluttershy's breast and hugged her neck.
"And you're more than welcome to stay as long as you need, young man." he said.
"Thank you, sir," Berry said softly. Mr. Shy beamed. "Don't mention it, kiddo."
"The kid with the fire powers won. We already cleaned up the mess," one of the men told Chaos. He was still bruised from being slammed against multiple times.
"Very nice. We're is he?"
"We've put him back in the cell. He is to compete against someone else tomorrow. We don't exactly know who."
Chaos went to the cell where the kid was and saw him in the corner, on the floor crying. Chaos had a twisted smile on his face. "Don't be sad, kid. You won!"
"I HAD TO KILL SOMEONE!" the kid screamed and cried. He also had burn marks on himself from the electrical power from the other kid. Chaos started to laugh at him.
"What? You act like you've never seen a dead body before?" He pointed a gun at him. "And tomorrow, you will continue this until you die or else," he threatened. Right when he was about to turn around he felt someone grab his head and knee him on the chest three times. He immediatley fired his gun trying to hit whoever was attacking him, but the gun was knocked from his hand and he felt a punch to his face. Chaos was now angry as he tried to throw in a few punches but was attacked repeatedly by an unseen force until someone knee him in the groin. He gritted his teeth but was so rage driven he didn't even care about the pain. He tried to attack but it was useless as he couldn't see who it was. A few guards came in and went in to help Chaos but then they themselves were attacked. One started to pull out his gun, but it was yanked out from his hand, followed by a knee to the chest and a kick to the stomach. The other felt himself flipped over and landed hard on his back. He then felt his face kicked. Chaos got up and saw his henchmen being attacked. He grabbed his gun from the floor and tried to shoot whoever was attacking them, but it seemed like no one was there.
The child watched with a confused face. He had no idea what was going on and he was worried that he was next to. He felt himself picked up by someone and he began to panic.
"Hey put me down!" he shouted trying to free himself from the grasp. Whoever was carrying him ran out the door and past the other guards. Going through doors until they heard Chaos's voice through the intercom.
"DON'T LET THE CHILD ESCAPE!" his voice rang throughout the building as the kid felt himself rush past the guards and doors. He was led outside and was put down. He captor then appeared for the first time, revealing a girl in her teens with brown hair. She had a light blue jeans and black t-shirt.
"Who are you?" the child asked.
"Name's Amber." The girl answered. "I'm here to help you and the others who are captured here escape. What's your name?"
"Des," the kid answered. "Why are you even helping me?"
"I'll explain everything later," Amber said as she tried to lead him away, but Des wasn't budging.
"How do I know I can trust you?" he asked suspiciously.
"You remember some kid named Berry?" Amber asked. The child nodded.
"Yeah, I think I saw him before. I think he's that three year old."
"Well I'm his sister. And I was the one who helped him escape in case you were wondering why he was gone.
"Well how do I know you're not lying?" Des pressed on. Amber sighed.
"There's no way for me to prove it. You just have to trust me for now. So do you want to escape or not?"
"I do," Des relecutanly gave in.
"Alright, now let's go." Amber said as she grabbed his hand and led him away from the building.
Fluttershy had just finished giving Berry his night time bath, helped him put on his pajamas as well as brushed his teeth. She took him to the guest room.
"Ok, this is where you'll be staying," Fluttershy said as she opened the door. Berry climbed onto the bed and Fluttershy tucked him under the covers.
"Fluttershy?"
"Hmm?"
"Thank you for taking me in," Berry said with such innocence.
Fluttershy felt her heart melt from his words. "It's no problem, Berry. Besides, no one as cute as you should ever be left alone outside."
"You also remind me of my big sister. You're really nice like her." Berry began to cry as he thought of his sister. He missed her very much.
Fluttershy gave Berry a hug and whispered. "There there, everything is going to be ok. Shhhh" Berry cried into her chest and Fluttershy gave him a kiss on the forehead. They broke the hug. "Goodnight, little angel." She left the room and closed the door behind her.
Berry found himself back in the building where he had been captured. "Where am I?!" he screamed. He saw Chaos behind a glass window. He stepped inside the room and with a twisted smile said,
"You're very powerful, we just need to see how much you can endure."
Berry then found out he had some type of collar around his neck and Chaos held a small device in his hand. He pressed the button and Berry screamed as he felt his entire body being electrocuted. HE WAS BEING FRIED! As he continued screaming, Chaos laughed at him.
"We need to make sure you can withstand the most fatal things. So we can make cash from you. You'll understand one day." He stopped the device and Berry was on the floor sobbing. Chaos grabbed him by the collar and lifted him up. "You know what? I just had enough of your shit. You made me and my crew go through all this trouble!" He threw Berry on to the ground and took out a gun. "Don't worry, I won't kill you," he smiled and pulled the trigger.
Berry woke up shrieking and cried out loud. The door to the guestroom flew open and Fluttershy ran in. Berry got scared and shielded himself with his arms and she flew and hit her back against the wall. She groaned and got back up and saw Berry screaming and crying on the bed.
"Berry?" she asked as she carefully approached him being careful not to scare him. Fluttershy slowly approached the crying child as he continued to scream and sob. She wrapped her arms around him as he cried into her chest.
"Shhhhh....shhh...shhhhh It's alright, Fluttershy's here..." She whispered. She stroked his hair and back and Berry hugged her upper torso while burying his head on her chest. Her shirt getting wet from his tears. "Don't cry, sweetie. It was just a nightmare," she said smoothly. Berry still cried and Fluttershy contiued to rub his back as she tried to soothe his cortisol levels. "Do you want to tell me about it?"
Berry told her about his nightmare and how he was electrocuted by Chaos. Fluttershy felt her heart break as she pulled him in for a hug and kissed his forehead. "Don't worry, little one," I'm here." she whispered. "Do you want to sleep with me?" she asked. Berry looked at her with tear-filled eyes as he nodded. "Alright, baby. Let's go." She picked him up and started to head back to her room. She got back into bed with Berry and wrapped her arms around him. He continued to whimper so Fluttershy pulled him closer for a hug and kissed his cheek. He started to calm down a but his sobs were still there. After a few minutes he stopped crying slept next to Fluttershy for the rest of the night.
The next morning, the sun rays shined through the curtains. Fluttershy felt something around her waist and took off the covers to reveal Berry hugging her waist. She blushed as she stroked his hair. "Berry, it's time to get up." She said. He made a cute yawning noise and stretched his arms. "Good morning, sunshine."
"Good morning," Berry replied. Fluttershy picked up Berry and held him as they went downstairs to eat. Her parents were at work so she made herself and Berry some eggs and bacon. She served them onto her and his plate.
"Thank you," Berry said as he began to eat.
"It's no problem." she replied. After they were done eating, they put the dishes in the sink. Although Berry had calmed down, he was still upset about his nightmare so Fluttershy tried to think of something to do to cheer him up. "How about we go on a walk together? Those always made me feel better when I felt down."
Berry started to feel scared about having to go outside but Fluttershy put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, just stay close to me,"
After getting dressed, they then started to go on thier walk. Berry took Fluttershy's hand as they went outside.
How sweet this is a voice crooned.
"Who said that?" Fluttershy asked looking around trying to find where the voice was coming from. She then looked up and saw a white throated needle-tail on her roof. She stared in shock. Could this be the same one from the beach?
Just wait until I tell Chaos[/i} the bird said.
"Go away! Shoo!" Fluttershy said angrily as she tried to make the bird go away but it continued to chuckle.
Yes, I will go away. I'll tell my master where that boy is. Berry hid behind Fluttershy's legs and whimpered and she put a protective arm around him.
"Don't you even dare!"
Foolish girl aren't you? the bird taunted. You know that child is not safe anymore. They will find him HAHA! Tell the truth, you do not truly love him! If you had the chance you would have left him on the streets!
"That's not true!" Fluttershy said quietly but angry.
Don't get too attached to him, Fluttershy. You know they'll be coming for him it laughed as it took off. Fluttershy picked up Berry and ran to the car. She texted her friends about everything and told them to meet up at Sweete Shoppe.
"Where are we?" Des asked as Amber kept on pulling him along. They stopped at an abandoned one story house. The roof looked still decently attached despite being this old but some windows were shatteret. It was in the middle of nowhere and no other houses surrounded it.
"This is where you'll be staying for now until I can find you a safer place." Amber said. " I don't think anyone lives here." She knocked on the door to make sure and she only got the sound of silence from inside.
They went inside and the smell of old air filled the atmosphere. Des went and sat down on the couch in the living room. There was a TV in front but it was broken as evidenced by the shattered screen. He went to look in the fridge. It seemed like it hadn't been used in years. He opened it and looked inside.
"Find anything to eat?" Amber called out.
"Nope, just water bottles," Des muttered. He closed the fridge and walked back to the couch. "So is this where I'm staying for the rest of my life?" He asked. Amber sighed.
"Just until I find you a safer place and with better people."
"Well at least this place is better than 'that' place. He shivered and laid back on the couch. "Now you said Berry was your baby brother?"
"Yes," Amber said. Tears began to form in her eyes as her memories with her baby brother came into her head. "He's the most special boy I ever had in my life. When I saw what they did to him, I couldn't believe it. Oh god, they were electrocuting him! They also beat him with a belt. A three year old! I couldn't stand it anymore! I had to help him escape from that living hell hole."
"I'm so sorry." Des said. He was calm on the outside but his anger was beginning to brew inside of him. When I get the chance I'm going to fry that Chaos until his bones are black!
"Thanks, Des." They saw it was getting dark quickly so Des took the couch while Amber went to the guest bedroom. The showers were broken beyond repair so they just had to sleep in the clothes they already wore.
"Is this even neccessary?" a girl complained. She wore a white shirt with a green small jacket vest, purple pants and boots. She had purple hair with streaks of light blue that was in pigtails and star headbands.
The other girl looked at her with an annoyed expression on her face. This one had big poofy orange hair, dark purple shirt, light purple leggings, blue boots with spikes on the heels as well as a spiky headband. "Of course it's neccessary, Aria!" She snapped. "Ever since we lost our pendants we have no other choice! Otherwise we starve to death."
Aria groaned.
"Oh quit whining. It's either we get a job or we become prostitues out on the streets. Which one do you want to do?"
"A job," Aria muttered.
"Are we going to work at a taco place?" The third girl asked excitedly. She had blue and purple striped hair tied back in a long ponytail. She wore a purple jacket, pink skirt, and boots. Aria facepalmed.
"No, Sonata. We are not going to work at a taco place! Adagio, where are going to work at?"
"I'm not sure, but we'll find something."
"Wait do you hear that?" Sonata asked. The three stopped talking and they heard the sound of someone talking on the phone.
"Apparently those girls also have magic powers too!" Chaos muttered angrily. He was in the alleyway on a phonecall with someone. By the looks of it, he didn't want to be seen or heard. "The purple haired one has some sort of forcefield powers. Diamond forcefield to be exact. Don't know her name"
"Her name is Rarity" Said the person on the other end.
"Rarity you say?" Chaos was unaware that he was being heard. "I'm going to have to think of something new."
Do whatever, you need to do. I don't care what you do. I need that child! The voice said.
Chaos hung up and that's when he noticed voices nearby. He stopped himself and heard it coming from around the corner.
"Did you guys hear that?!" That guy said something about those girls with magic!"
"Don't suppose he was talking about the rainbooms," Aria smirked.
"Hey! Who are you?!"
Adagio turned around to see Chaos. He looked ready to take his gun out.
"Now, now, we're not the enemy here. We overheard what you just said." she said with a smirk.
"Give me a good reason why I shouldn't kill you three," Chaos threatened.
"Because we might be able to help you. We overheard you saying something about one of the girls. Rarity if that's her name."
Chaos eased his expression but he was still on attack mode. "What do you know about those girls?"
"They're a bunch of bitches who destroyed our pendants. One of our most essential things we need to survive!" Adagio said angrily. "Now the only thing we can eat is human food!"
Chaos had a confused look on his face. "So you don't normally eat human food?"
"We feed off a people's negative feelings," Aria explained. "We had these red pendants around our neck."
"And what happened to them?" Chaos asked.
"It got shattered," Aria said flatly.
"How do you even feed off of negative feelings with those anyways?"
"We sing and that kind of hypnotizes people to have negative thoughts."
Chaos looked at the three girls for a minute. "Now you never answered my first question. Who are you three?"
"Adagio"
"Sonata!" the bubbly one said excitedly. Chaos ignored her excitement.
"Aria."
"So your telling me, that you sing to hypnotize people and conjure negative feelings and you feed off of that?" Chaos asked.
"yeah, pretty much," Aria said.
An idea began to form in Chaos's mind. "Now...How would you three like a deal?" Chaos grinned.
Adagio raised her eyebrow. "What kind of deal?"
Chaos began to slightly laugh. "First off to make sure we're on the same page. One of those girls you said destroyed your pendants had rainbow hair and another had red and yellow hair?"
"Yep, that's them. Can't remember thier names."
"Ok..." Chaos thought for a moment. "So in case you haven't heard, those seven girls have a three year old child with them. And this is what I need you to do."
"What is it?" Adagio asked.
"I need you to kidnap that boy for us. He's not going to trust us so we need someone who he has never met before."
"Wait, who is us?" Aria asked suspiciously. Chaos grinned.
"Oh my bad. I never introduced myself. "I'm Chaos. Head of the BlazeCorps. It's a company that studies magic in humans. It's like anatomy but with magic."
"And what do we get out of it?" Aria pressed on.
"If you cooperate with us, you could have your pendants restored." Chaos grinned. "When you capture that kid, you are to bring him to this location." He took out a card with an Adress on it. Bring him to that location. Now be careful. He's with those girls and it might be a bit difficult."
"Alright, you got yourself a deal!" Adagio said. Her face an evil grin as she and Chaos shook hands on the deal.
"So that bird we saw at the beach was the same you saw and it's a spy?" Twilight asked.
"No wonder how Chaos was able to track us down!" Applejack said. They were in Sweete Shoppe discussing what they should do.
"I'm not safe anywhere am I?" Berry asked miserably. "There's nowhere we can go..."
"Don't sweat it, sugarcube. We'll figure out something. Here how about a cookie to cheer you up?" She went over to the counter and purchased a large chocolate chip cookie. She handed it to Berry. In return, he hugged her waist.
"Awww, you're welcome, sugarcube."
"I suggest the little one here spends the night in different houses. It'll be harder for them to track him down."
"That's a great idea, Rarity," Sunset agreed. "Rarity would you like to take him first?"
"I would delighted to!" Rarity gasped. Berry went over to Rarity and hugged her belly. "And after that, one of you girls can take him."
After the girls agreed on the plan. They went home. Rarity held Berry in her arms as they went over to her house.
"So this is the boy I need you to capture," Chaos told the dazzlings. He pulled out his phone and showed them a picture of a 3 year old boy. "His name is Berry. We're trying to capture him and bring him back. He escaped from us."
Adagio studied the picture for a few moments. "And we get our pendants in return?"
"I can't one hundred percent guarantee that, but if you help us, it will be worthwhile."
"Alright. Sounds good enough."
"Follow me," Chaos said motioning them to follow. They went over to a van and Chaos opened the back trunk. Inside of it, were weapons of all kinds. Guns, Knives, Grenades. Hell, some of them were probably even illegal! He took out a 9 milimeter pistol and handed it to Adagio.
"If anyone tries to make your task difficult, this should fix the problem."
"We give that thing to them?" Sonata asked.
Aria gave Sonata a 'Are you fucking retarded?' face. "Yes, Sonata, we give them the fucking gun so they can shoot us," she said sarcastically. Chaos ignored Sonata and continued on. "Here's another in case you need it." He handed them another pistol.
"Oooh can I hold on to it?" Sonata asked excitedly.
"No! You're going to shoot someone!" Aria snapped.
"Awww, but it looks really cool!"
"yeah, well it may look cool but it's not going to be cool if you shoot yourself with it! Although that would be pretty funny," Aria snickered.
"Hey!" Sonata shot back.
"Quit bickering you two!" Adagio said sternly. She turned back to Chaos. "When do you need him by?"
"As soon as possible. Do you have a number so you can report to me when you get him?"
"We don't have cellphones."
"No problem then." Just bring him over to that address I showed you. And you'll get something in return."
"Deal." Adagio said. They turned and left. As soon as they were gone, Chaos dialed his phone and waited for the other end to pick up.
"What is it?
"I just sent three people to kidnap Berry for us. "I figured that if it were someone not from our company, the kid would trust them more. I told them to bring them to the BlazeCorps building when they capture him."
"Good now there is something I need you to do."
"What is it?"
"I need you to take one of those girls and bring them over to the BlazeCorp building! Do not kill her. Do you hear me?
"I hear you loud and clear," Chaos responded.
"good," was all the reply until the other end hung up.
Rarity held Berry in her arms as they approached her front doors. She put him down and got her keys out and unlocked the door. They went in together.
"Hey, Rarity!" said a girl. She looked like a freshmen in highschool. She had pink and white hair, wore a purple short sleeved jacket, stripped undershirt, purple boots with yellow buckles and a yellow skirt. Berry started to hide behind Rarity's legs.
"Hello, Sweetie Belle darling," Rarity greeted her younger sister. Sweetie Belle noticed Berry hiding behind and hugging Rarity's legs. Nervously blushing.
"Awwww, he's so cute!" Sweetie gasped. She started to walk towards him but he started to whimper. He hugged Rarity's legs tighter.
"He's shy around new people," Rarity said. She put a comforting hand on Berry's shoulder. "It's ok, she won't hurt you. Why don't you say hello?"
Berry slowly peeked around her legs and went infront of her. He fidgeted his hands. "H-Hi."
Sweetie gasped in adorbaleness and crouched down to his level. "OH MY GOODNESS. You are so cute!" she cooed. "What's your name?"
"Sweetie Belle, this sweet little guy is Berry." Rarity introduced the boy to her sister. "He'll be staying here for the night."
"So you're babysitting for his parents?" Sweetie asked. Rarity expression turned into a sad expression.
"Yes I am watching over him but...His parents are dead."
Sweetie gasped in horror. "What?"
"My friends and I are taking turns having him at our place. That way it'll be harder for them to track him down."
"Who's tracking him down?"
"They call themselves the BlazeCorps." "They want to kidnap him and expirement on him for thier selfish and dark deeds!" Rarity answered.
Berry went over to Sweetie Belle and pressed his head on her waist and hugged her stomach.
"Awwww" Sweetie Belle gasped. She noticed him crying. "Hey, what's wrong?"
"I-I miss my mommy and daddy," Berry softly cried. "And my big sister too."
Sweetie Belle hugged him back and patted his head. "Here, this might cheer you up." She ran to her room and came out with an elephant plushie that was just a little smaller than Berry himself. "I had it since I was your age. It always made me feel better when I felt sad." Berry looked nervously at the plushie. "You can even keep it if you want."
Rarity was touched by this moment. "My, Sweetie Belle, that's really kind of you!"
Berry looked nervous. He didn't know if he should take it.
"Go ahead, Berry. It's nothing harmful."
Berry grabbed the plushie from Sweetie Belle. "Thank you," he said nervously.
"Aww don't mention it, cutie!"
Berry was surprised how soft and plush the elephant was. He hugged it torwards his chest, then he gave Sweetie a thank you hug. Her heart began to melt.
"By the way, Sweetie, have you seen mom and dad?"
"They're still at work, but I'm getting a little hungry," Sweetie said. She heard Berry's stomach growling too. "And I can tell this cute one is too!" she giggled.
"Alright, how about you two do something while I cook up something," Rarity suggested.
"No problem!"
Rarity went into the kitchen to prepare dinner and Sweetie Belle was with Berry.
"Ok, so what do you want to do?" she asked.
"I don't know. I never really been anywhere or done anything before," Berry said looking down in sadness.
Sweetie Belle thought of a game they can play. "Hey, you wanna play hide and seek?"
"What's that?"
"It's where one person hides and the other tries to find them," she explained. "You can hide first if you want."
"Ok," Berry said.
"I'm going to count to 30 and your going to hide somewhere. She turned around and covered her eyes. Then she began to count and Berry went to find a hiding space."
This seems fun,he thought. He hid behind the living room couch and started to giggle. After about 30 seconds he heard Sweetie call out, "READY OR NOT, HERE I COME!" He heard footsteps coming in his direction. "I wonder where did Berry go?" Sweetie asked playfully. "Is he underneath the table?" she checked underneath the table, but he wasn't there. She smirked. "Or is he behind the televesion?" She checked behind it and no one was there. Berry started to giggle. Sweetie Belle heard him and grinned. He started to quiet himself down to avoid making too much noise. Sweetie quietly tip-toed torwards the couch. She was at the corner. "Or is he behind the couch!" she playfully yelled. "Found you!" She gave him some tickles causing him to squeal and laugh out loud. She continued to tickle him and he kept on laughing.
"Dinner's almost ready!" Rarity called out.
"Ok!" Sweetie responded. "Was that fun, Berry?" she asked. He nodded excitledly.
"Can I be the seeker now please?" he asked eagerly.
"Let's eat first, then we can play some more," Sweetie Belle said while giggling. They went to the kitchen and the smell of steak and mushrooms filled the kitchen. Berry went to the kitchen to wash his hands and they all sat at the table. Berry looked for a place to sit but he was too short and he would not be able to reach the table.
"Come here, darling. You can sit with me," Rarity said. Berry went over to Rarity and she picked him up and placed him on her lap. "Let's eat, shall we?" They got thier plates and put the food on it. Rarity got a piece of steak for Berry and cut it up for him. He took his fork and began to eat. After they were done eating, they put the plates in the sink and Rarity began to do the dishes. Rarity told Sweetie Belle to keep Berry company while she did the dishes so they continued to play hide and seek. This time, Berry was the seeker.
"I'm going to go hide and you're going to count to 30." Sweetie Belle explained. "Then after 30 seconds, you're going to try and find me."
"ok," Berry said. "He turned around and started to count just like Sweetie Belle had done. "One...two...threee..."
Sweetie Belle quietly ran to the bathroom and hid behind the shower curtains and laid down. She also made sure she had turned off the lights. She heard Berry finishing up his counting.
"twenty eight...twenty nine...thirty!"
Berry looked over the living room. He peeked behind the television, couch, and table but she wasn't there. He looked in the kitchen but no sign of Sweetie Belle there either. He then heard some giggling in the bathroom. He went to check on it. He couldn't reach to turn on the light but he still went inside. He looked behind the shower curtain and found Sweetie.
"Found you!" he yelled playfully! Sweetie Belle made a silly roar at him and began to tickle him and chase him around the house causing him to laugh while running. They were having so much fun they didn't notice Rarity until they ran into her.
"omph!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed as she ran into her big sister. "Sorry..."
"I see you two are having fun," Rarity smiled at them. Berry nodded with excitement. "Well it's time for your bath, so come along, darling." She picked up Berry and carried him to the bathroom. She waited for the water to be warm enough before putting him in it. She helped take off his clothes while they waited. Once Berry was in the tub, she rinsed him first then took a sponge and began to scrub over his upper and lower torso, back, arms and legs. Once she was done, she took him out of the bathtub and wrapped him in a towel. In his room, she helped him put on his pajamas. Berry went over to her and gave her a thank you hug. His head pressed firmly on her waist. "You're welcome, darling" she said while gently patting his head. Berry took his elephant plushie and went to find Sweetie Belle in the living room. He tried to give it back to her but Sweetie gently pushed it away.
"Berry, no. That's yours to keep forever. Please, I want you to take it home."
"You mean it?" Berry asked. He didn't want to get in trouble for taking other people's stuff.
"Of course," Sweetie Belle pulled Berry in for a hug and kissed him on the cheek. Making him blush. After it got dark, they decided to turn in for the night. Rarity took Berry up to her room to sleep with her. After helping brush his teeth, Berry went in the bed with Rarity and she wrapped her arms around him and pulled him in for a hug. Berry curled up next to her.
"Sweet dreams, darling." she whispered and kissed him on the cheek.
We can't live on waterbottles forever. We have to get something to eat." Des complained. He looked in the fridge once again to make sure that there wasn't anything they could eat. Nope. Only water bottles. There was a packet of sliced ham, but it was so moldly it was almot nasueous to look at. "I don't suppose you have any cash on you? He noticed Amber wasn't with him. She was outside the house smoking a cigarette leaning her back against the wall. He went outside to where she was. "We can't live like this forever. Do you have like any cash on you?"
Amber exhaled, blowing out the smoke from her mouth. "You're right, Des. But I don't have any cash on me...yet."
"What do you mean?" Des asked.
"Come on," Amber said as she led him down to the city nearby. They spotted a couple dining out at an outdoor sitting resturaunt. She thought of an idea. "Stay here." she instructed. She turned invisible and slowly crept behind the man. He was facing his date and neither he or his date seem to notice anything. Being very carefully not to get caught, Amber reached into the man's back pocket and took out his wallet. She also made sure to crouch down, so it wouldn't be suspicious if someone saw a floating wallet in midair. She took looked inside and was satisfied to see a couple hundreds in it. She took the cash and left hundred so it wasn't all gone. She carefully inserted the wallet back into the man's pocket and left.
She visible again as she approached Des.
"You can't do that! You'll be in so much trouble!" he gasped.
"But there's no other choice. I can't get a job here because we have to be on the move always!"
"I guess," Des muttered. "How much did you get?"
Amber counted the bills in her hand. "Looks like a couple hundred. five hundred to be exact." She took Des's arms and pulled him along. "Come on, let's get out of here before he notices." They hurriedly ran away from the couple. After a minute of so, they came across a McDonalds and Des started to feel hungry.
"This is probably our best option. Fast food is usually cheap so we won't lose too much cash," he said.
"You're right." Amber agreed. They went inside the McDonalds and looked at the menu, choosing what they would get. When they got to the cashier, Des ordered a big mac, small fires, and a medium sprite. Amber ordered a crispy chicken sandwhich, medium fries like Des, and a large coke. When they paid for thier food, the still had over four hundred cash left. They sat down and ate thier food. While they ate, Des asked,
"How do you even know about the BlazeCorps?"
Amber took a sip from her coke before she answered. "I actually used to work there," she shuddered at the thought. "Trust me, it's something I would do anything to forget." Her memories came flooding back to her as her mind came back to kids being tortured through expirements. Young children were the primary targets but sometimes, there were even adults who were being subjected to human expirements. Just like the children, a lot of adults didn't make it either. She began to leak tears as she continued on. "They also kidnap woman to impregnate them so they can have a child to test on and oh god..." The entire world seemed to stop as she struggled to finish out her last words. "The ones who are born with any disorders...they...they" She nearly choked on her tears as she whispered, "had them killed. And they also killed thier mothers as well to make sure no one will know."
Des felt a dread in the pit of his stomach. they continued to eat and Amber wiped a tear from her eye. "After this, we're going to go back to that house. I'm going to try and bring a few more over here."
"alright," Des said. They finished up thier food, threw thier trash in the bin, and headed out.
Rarity had taken Berry out to the park today. She gave him a push on the swingset. Each push she recieved a giggle from him. Once he was high enough, Rarity said, "Ok, Berry I'll just be over here. Just tell me if you want to get off," She went to sit down on the bench nearby and texted her friends on what they were doing. Next to her was a man who looked like he was in his late 30s reading a book. He didn't pay any mind whatsoever. On the floor next to him was a Labradoodle in a sitting position and with a leash on.
Berry started to swing lower and lower until it had came to a complete stop. He got off the swingset and started to walk torwards Rarity. He felt something tingle up his nose and he sneezed.
"Achoo!" he quickly used his arm to cover himself.
"bless you."
"Thank you," Berry said but then he realized that voice did not sound like Rarity's at all. "wait..."
He saw the Labradoodle looking at him, and to his shock, it started talking to him!
"Well aren't you an adorable one?" the dog said. From it's voice, it sounded like a female's. "Not many little ones are as cute as you."
"You can talk?" Berry asked.
"Well not everyhuman seems to understand me. You're the second one who does. The first one was this girl at this animal shelter before I got adopted by this guy over here." She pointed her head up to her owner, who was still reading his book.
"Berry, who are you talking to?" Rarity asked him. To her (and everyone else) it looked like a 3 year old talking to a Labradoodle who was barking.
"Rarity! This dog talks!" he said excitedly.
"Well isn't that adorable?" Rarity said smiling. But in her mind, Could this be his second power?
"Quiet down now, Lola." The elderly man said as still reading his book.
"What's your name?" Berry asked the dog.
"My name's Lola. What's yours?"
"Berry," he replied. "Is there any other dogs that can talk?"
"I'm not sure," Lola replied.
The elderly man put down his book and saw Berry on the floor infront of him talking to his dog.
"Well hey there, little guy" he said in a friendly tone. Rarity came up and took Berry in her arms.
"Sorry about that, sir. He just gets a little curious, that's all."
The old man waved her off. "Ah don't sweat about it. Hey, I think you're friends with that girl from the animals shelter."
"You mean Fluttershy?" Rarity asked.
"Yes, that one!" the man confirmed. "She's the one who gave me Lola over here. I just want you to let her know that she has an amazing way with animals." he smiled. He then looked at his watch. "I hate to be rude but we got to get going. You have a nice day, Miss..."
"You can just call me Rarity." the fashionista said.
"Alright, Rarity. My name's Bryson by the way. You have a good one." He started to leave while taking Lola by the leash. "Come on, Lola. Let's go."
"You to as well." Rarity said. As soon as he left, Rarity immedialtey texted her friends about Berry's second power.
Rarity had texted her friends to meet at the mall to discuss about Berry's second power. She drove there and saw her friends already waiting for her.
"You seem excited about this," Applejack said.
"So Berry has a second power?" That's awesome!" Rainbow said excitedly. "But why hasn't it shown up until now?"
"I think because he's so young, it only comes at randoms. Who knows how many more abilities he has?" Applejack commented.
"So how was your night at Rarity's?" Fluttershy asked Berry. "Did you have a good sleep?" Berry nodded and Fluttershy picked him up while he hugged her neck. "Well I'm glad you had a good time there, sweetie. Next you'll be spending the night at Sunset's."
"ok," Berry replied. "Can we get something to eat please? I'm hungry." He said and looked at Fluttershy with puppy eyes.
"Awww alright, sweetcheeks. Let's go find a resturaunt." Pinkie used her phone to find nearby dining areas.
"How about this one? It's an itallian villa!"
"Sounds great!" Applejack said. "How does that sound, sugarcube?" she asked Berry. He happily nodded. "Alright, Itallian Villa it is."
The resturaunt was already crowded by the time they got there. Not only that, but the wait time in line was over 30 minutes, but the girls decided to wait. Berry started to whimper as he felt scared being in a place with alot of people. Twilight wrapped her arms around him in comfort and kissed his cheek. He wrapped his arms around her waist and smothered his head on her belly. A waiter came over to Sunset.
"Good evening, Miss. How many?"
"Seven adults and one child," Sunset told him. The waiter nodded.
"Alright, follow me." He said as the girls followed him to a table. He gave them thier menus and asked. "Anything you want to drink?"
Sunset ordered a sprite, Rarity ordered a Dr. Pepper, so did Pinkie. Applejack ordered a Pepsi, Twilight ordered a Diet Coke and so did Fluttershy, Rainbow had a Mountain Dew."
Berry looked at the kid's menu. "Can I have a lemonade please?"
"Of course," the waiter replied as he wrote down thier orders. "And are you ready to order your meals now or would you like some time first?"
"I think we're ready." Sunset said as she heard Berry's stomach growl. "Me and Pinkie will take the spaghetti special with meatballs."
"I'll have the chicken alfredo," Rarity said.
"I'll take the spicy fettuccine," Pinkie added.
"I'll have an eggplant casserole." Twilight said.
"I'll also take the spicy fettuccine," Rainbow told the waiter.
"I'll have the three layer lasaugna." Fluttershy said.
Berry looked at the menu section on the kid's menu. "Can I have the kid's spaghetti and meatballs, please?" It was something new and he hadn't tried it before.
The waiter nodded wrote down all thier orders. "is there anything else?" The girls shook thier heads.
"Alright, you're food should be coming out shortly." He took the menus back and the girls decided to wash thier hands before they ate. Berry went into the bathroom to wash his hands. When he came back, the food was already at the table. Fluttershy picked him up and placed him on her lap as they began to eat.
"Wow, this stuff's really good!" Rainbow said taking a bite of her food. "Oh god, it's really hot!" she quickly said as she took a swig of her Mountain Dew.
"I never actually tried eggplant. But it's actually really good!" Twilight said. The girls saw Berry happily eating his spaghetti. "You like it, don't you?" she asked. Berry nodded as he continued to eat.
"Look guys!" Rainbow said pointing to the Television. It was Rosie and it looked like she was in a convention. There was a caption underneath her that said
Rosie Shine Scientist and Inventor
On the television, Rosie gave a warm smile and waved at the crowd. "Thank you for bringing me here," she said to the host. She turned to the crowd. "And before I begin. I just want to take a quick moment to thank all of you for supporting me all the way through. I really appreciate you all coming here tonight, because this might be my biggest project." She gave a signal and a man came over pushing a cart. On it was a test tube with an unknown liquid on it.
"Would you care to explain what is?" the host asked.
"Of course." Rosie said. "It's possibly the next drug. Except it's totally safe and legal."
"What does it do?"
"It basically a stress reliever. It makes you feel relaxed after a stressful day. I plan to distribute this across the globe in the near future."
The man who pushed the cart went and got a vaccine needle.
"Would anyone like to give a try?" Rosie asked the crowd. A lot of them were unsure and quite nervous what would happen. There was one man, however who had the courage to volunteer. He walked up to the stage and Rosie held the needle in her hand.
"Thank you, sir." she said kindly.
"It's no problem. I'm just a little nervous because...you know," the man said.
"Don't worry about it," Rosie said reassuringly. She injected the needle into the man's arms and pushed the fluid inside. As soon as she did, the man's thought immediatley became a thought of bliss and pleasure. His mind instantly became relaxed of any stress he might have had. He couldn't help but smile.
"My god! This might be the best feeling I had!" he exclaimed.
"I see you enjoy it," Rosie giggled. The man went back to her seat. His thoughts still relaxed as he was under it's effects.
"Thank you, Rosie," the host said. "Now if you don't mind. Can you explain to us why you chose this path?
"Of course." Rosie replied. "My story actually goes back when my father, Henry Shine was still alive. Some of you might even heard of him?" There were quite a few nods from the crowd. They had heard about Henry. He was a well-renowned scientist. He wasn't overly famous but definitley more than the average joe. "Well he was also an inventor. I would help him with his inventions and he would sell them for a good profit. The only difference is his inventions are more natural. Mine are powered by magic. As I grew up, I always wanted to learn more about the science of this world. Each time, after I helped with an invention he would always tell me, "Rosie, I just want to let you know that you have a brilliant mind. I have no doubt you will be able to do great things even when I'm gone." After he passed away, I told myself that I was going to make him proud. And so I decided to carry on his legacy for him. So soon after, I began to study into engineering and science. It was hard, but it was worth it after all...Then one day, As I was walking outside I discovered something that I never knew existed. Magic!" She smiled. "Let me tell you, if you have told me magic was real before, I would have thought you were crazy. But now? I know it's more than real. "It can be used to our full advantage. So I thought and wondered what would happen if I put my invention skills and magic together. And that's where I am today. I will always continue to create new mechanics to better the life of everyone. I still think about my father and wonder how proud he will be when he sees me from above. Thank you. That's all for now.
The crowd applauded after hearing Rosie's origin. "Well that was some story..." Applejack said. The girls and Berry had finished thier food. "I wonder what kind of things her father invented?"
"Beats me," Rainbow said. "I wonder what that liquid was though.
"Probably a new type of drug," Twilight answered. "And if I had to guess, it's a drug that effects the mind. Don't know if it's really safe to use or not."
Pinkie went to the front to pay the bill and they left afterwards. They dropped Sunset off at her apartment and also Berry too.
"Ok, Berry. THis is where you'll be sleeping for tonight," FLuttershy said to him. He shook nervously as he held on to Fluttershy. She rubbed his back. "Don't worry, sweetheart." Rarity looked at Sunset.
"If there's any emergency give us a call, ok?"
"Will do," Sunset replied. She took Berry in her arms and went inside her apartment.
"So that's the kid we need to get!" Adagio said to the other siren as they watched from a distance in thier van. "just wish that red hair bitch wasn't with him! Aria took the gun out.
"No we can't shoot anyone! Otherwise it will wake up the whole neighborhood." Adagio told her.
"Then how else are we supposed to take the kid?" Aria asked rolling her eyes. Adagio smirked.
"We go when the red head is asleep."
At Sunset's apartment/what happened to Berry's parents
After heling Berry with his bath, they decided to watch T.V together. Sunset cradled Berry in her arms as they watched Sesame Street. He pressed his head against her breast and made a sad face. Sunet noticed his tears leaking and softly asked, "What's wrong? Do you miss your family?" He nodded and softly cried. Sunset pulled him closely torwards her chest and rubbed his back. "shhhh...shhhh it's going to be ok." She whispered. Feeling worried about Berry, Sunset used her powers to see what happened to his family. More specifically his parents. She touched his forhead and her eyes glowed a brilliant white. In his memories, she saw Berry as a 1 year old baby. He was being held by a middle-aged woman. Brown hair, blue blouse and pink shirt. Next to her was a man, also brown hair. He wore a denim jacket, white undershirt and black jeans. They were Berry's parents. But Berry and his parents weren't the only ones there. Also with them was a girl in her younger teens. She had on a short-sleeved designer t-shirt, shorts, and a pair of tennis shoes. Sunset recognized her as Berry's older sister from the DVD tape. Sunset looked at them. They looked so...happy. She saw them taking a walk throughout the city of Canterlot.
"Any good places to eat, Jack?" The mother asked her husband. Jack spotted a resturaunt nearby. It was an Olive Garden.
"We can try that place, Sofia. I heard it's good." he suggested. He heard Berry's stomach growl indicating he was getting hungry. He began to softly cry so the family decided to eat there. Then...it happened. Jack suddenly flew back as something presumably a bullet had stuck his cranium, creating a bloody mess on the city building that was next to them. He died within seconds. Berry shrieked and cried out loud. Sofia and Amber (Berry's sister's name) screamed in horror. Then it was Sofia. A bullet struck her in the head and she violently was knocked down. Berry fell from her arms but Amber was quick enough to catch him. Sofia had died too.
"MOM. DAD!" Amber screamed frantically trying to shake them awake, but it was no use. Tears began to stung her eyes as she tried again and again to wake them up. But it was hopeless. Maybe this is all a nightmare she thought, but after pinching herself a few times she realized she wasn't dreaming at all. "No! Please...." she whimpered. She sobbed harder than she had ever done in her entire life. "noooo....noooo" she softly whimpered. She heard Berry crying and she cradled him closer torwards her. "Shhh...shhh" The whole world seemed halt. Amber tried yet again to shake her parents. "Mom! Dad! Please! WAKE UP?" she shrieked. "Don't leave us..." but she knew it wasn't going to happen. Jack and Sofia are now dead, and there's nothing that can be undone. Berry cried with Amber as they hugged eachother. Not knowing what was going to happen to them now. Amber and Berry looked up, and there...on top of a building was Chaos. It was a bit difficult to see, but that was definitley him. In his right hand, he held a sniper rifle. He seemed to quickly duck behind the wall but Amber already spotted him. A great wave of fury overcame her as she tried to scream curses at him but becaue they were so far away, Chaos couldn't hear her. He simply laughed with glee.
Sunset pulled her hand back and gasped. She put her hand over her mouth. She felt herself crying as she pulled Berry for a hug and embraced him tightly. "Oh my..." she said shakily. Berry began to sob again as Sunset tried her best to soothe him. "I'm so sorry, sweetie." Sunset whispered as she kissed him on the forehead. "Don't cry...don't cry," she said and also to herself too.
After Sunset helped Berry get ready for bed, she tucked him in the bed in the guestroom. She leaned forward and kissed his forehead. "Goodnight, Berry. If you need anything, I'll be in the next room over." She turned to leave the room.
"Sunset?" Berry asked
Sunset stopped and turned around.
"Do you love me? Or am I just a waste of you and your friend's time? I don't want you guys to get hurt because of me." He had a tear leak from his face. Sunset felt her heart shatter and she went over to Berry and pulled him for a hug, rubbing his back and shushing him softly. He buried his face in her hair.
"Berry, don't ever say that," Sunset whispered softly. "You are not a waste of our time. We all love you very much." Berry whimpered into her hair and Sunset continued to hug him.
"You mean it?"
Sunset nodded.
"I love you, too."
After they broke the hug, Sunset gave him his elephant plush he bought along and he hugged it. She left the room leaving the door slightly open for Berry in case he needed something. "Goodnight, little one."
As Sunset got in her bed, she felt terrible about what had happened. How could something so cruel happen to him? she burrowed her eyebrows and anger but she was also confused too. I know what happened now...but how and why? Sunset went through her thoughts. How did Chaos know exactly where Berry's parents were...and why did he kill them? Berry must not have recognized Chaos when the latter came to try and take him. He was only one years old. Her eyelids started to get heavy and she sighed. Maybe tomorrow, more answers will come. She turned off the lamp and went to sleep.

Unbenknowst to Sunset, the Dazzlings were planning to take Berry on behalf of Chaos's orders. They were all wearing thier hoodies from when they sang in the fast food cafe.
"Ok, Sonata. Stay here and keep the car on. You'll be our getaway driver."
"What am I doing?" Aria asked.
"You and me are going to take the kid." Adagio said. "We need to be deathly silent, you hear?"
Aria nodded and she and Adagio went inside the house. From her pocket, Adagio got a lockpick and began to pick the lock. After a few tries the door quietly swung open slowly and they stepped inside. Carefully and slowly walking around trying to find the kid. Aria looked around the living room while Adagio looked around the kitchen. Aria spotted a door slightly opened. She crept up torwards it and opened it up slightly. She had found Berry sound asleep in the bed. Next to Berry's door was another not too far apart. It was closed. Must be Sunset's room Aria thought. She motioned for Adagio to come over. "He's in here." Aria whispered. They both went inside being very careful not to make too much noise. When they approached the end of his bed he began to squirm and mumble in his sleep.
"Ok, on the count of three, we grab him and run like hell out of here. It doesn't matter if he screams." Adagio whispered to Aria. They got ready to grab Berry. "One...two...Three!" They grabbed Berry and he immediatley woke up. He began to scream in fear and Aria put her hand over his mouth.
"SHUT UP!" she hissed. "You're going to get us caught!"
"SUNSET! HELP!" He cried but his voice was muffled. They started to drag him away torwads thier car when Adagio felt someone violently shove her away. She hit the wall and saw Sunset with a furious expression.
"Get out!" she shouted but Adagio charged at her knocking Sunset to the floor. Sunset grabbed a nearby vase and smashed it on Adagio's head while the latter responded with a punch to the jaw. Blood trickled from Sunset's mouth. Adagio grabbed Sunset's hair and slammed her against the wall repeatadly. She then turned around and kneed her in the stomach. Sunset punched Adagio in the eye, making it black. The latter let go while her hands flew to her eye.
"SUNSET!" Berry cried as Aria ran out the door. Adagio laughed cruelly as she followed suit. Sunset tried to catch after them but Sonata was ready to drive off with them. Berry began to cry as the two kidnappers ran to the car.
"COME BACK HERE!" She screamed but they simply ignored her. They got in the car and they drove off. "BERRY!" she screamed. "no, no this is just a dream..." but it wasn't. Berry had been kidnapped! She immediatley texted her friends, not caring right now that it was 2 in the morning. She went back inside and sat on her couch and began to weep. "Berry..." she cried.
The next day, Sunset and her friends didn't waste a single second as they met up at her apartment.
"I didn't see my text until this morning but I came here as fast I could when I did," Rarity said.
"So did I!" Pinkie added.
"I can't believe the Dazzlings took Berry!" Fluttershy cried, tears beginning to form in her eyes. "Oh I hope he's ok!"
"Those three are going to be sorry!" Rainbow angrily said.
"I agree, but what do they even want with Berry?" AppleJack stated.
"Nothing..." Sunset said. "It's not Berry they want. I think Chaos made a deal with the Dazzlings to kidnap Berry and in return he'll give them something in return. Probably new pendants for them."
"But here's the thing, Sunset. Where in the hell would he get something as magical as those? Especially if they're more than likely not from this world?" AppleJack argued.
"Y-you don't think Rosie has anything to do with this do you?" Fluttershy softly asked.
"okay, okay let's not jump to conclusions y'all." AppleJack said. "Just because she's a brilliant inventor doesn't mean she's secretly evil..."
"But who else is genius enough to make something something a magically advanced as the pendants?" Rainbow asked. "But you're right. We shouldn't jump to conclusions."
"We have to find him!" Sunset said desperatley. "But I don't know where they went, all I know is they went that way!" Sunset pointed in the direction the car had left. "They could be anywhere by now...Oh, Berry please be safe!" she started to cry. The rest of the girls felt the same way, wishing Berry was with them again. Fluttershy put her hand over her heart and stiffled a sob, Rainbow had a furious look on her face.
"If we ever find those sirens...they're going to regret setting foot in this world!"
"But we have to find where they are first," AJ reminded. "And it's not going to be easy."
"The best thing we can do right now is to report it to the police station. They can find out where he went," Rarity suggested.
"Good idea," Twilight agreed. They headed over to the Police Station. Inside were two police officers in uniform.
"How may we help you?" One of them asked.
"Officers! It's terrible! We need to report a child missing!" Rarity said desperatley.
"Calm down, ma'am. Tells us exactly what happened." The other officer said.
"The child's name is Berry," Sunset informed the officers. "He was kidnapped from my apartment just last night around 2 in the morning. He was last wearing his pajamas because he was sleeping."
"Do you know who kidnapped him?"
"Yes, I know EXACTLY who did." Sunset said confidently. "Their names are Adagio Dazzle, Aria Blaze, and Sonata Dusk." She also gave physical descriptions for each one of them. Making sure to be as detailed as possible. "There's also another one you need to know about."
"Who is that?"
"Chaotic Cane. He's likely the one who sent those three to do the kidnapping." Sunset also gave a physical description of Chaos. The officers wrote down everything they heard. One of them turned to the other.
The officer breathed a heavy sigh. "I never thought I'd hear that name again."
"You know him?" Sunset asked
"Know him? We've been trying to capture him for the past few years now but he always seems to be one step ahead of us! He's a notorious former contract killer who's WANTED across different states!"
"Get the other officers and tell them we need to do a search for the child! After, we will find the one responsible and finally bring him to justice!"
"Yes, sir. Right away." the other officer responded and headed out. The one remaining turned to the girls.
"We will do our absolute best to make sure we find the kid." he told them.
"Thank you, so much officer." Sunset gasped. "Please find him, he's the sweetest and most adorable boy we ever met!"
The car came to a stop in front of a building. A building that was horribly familiar to Berry. He started to cry.
"I wanna go home," he sobbed.
"Sorry," Adagio said unempathetically. "But we kinda need to bring you here. It's nothing personal."
The door to the building opened up and Chaos walked out. A huge smile across his face. He approached the Dazzlings and Berry. The Dazzlings grabbed Berry as he tried to kick and scream but they were too strong for him.
"Excellent job, girls," Chaos said. "Now let's hurry this up. They might try to look for him." He led them inside the building where he went inside and led them to the cells that was divided by a glass wall. "Just throw him in here." The Dazzlings threw Berry into the room. Chaos took out three red pendant and gave them to the Dazzlings. "Here you go." he said as he gave each one of them thier pendants. "Thank you for your help."
An evil laugh escaped from Adagio as she and the other sirens started to absorb the negative energy from around the atmosphere.
"Yesss..." Adagio breathed. "This is what we've been relishing. Now since we helped you, it's your turn to help us. Revenge against those 7 girls."
"Actually, I was already doing something about that," Chaos grinned. He was interrupted by the sound of Berry pounding on the glass.
"I wanna go home!" he sobbed.
"Shut the fuck up!" Chaos snapped. "You are not going home!"
Berry cried and made a sad face with a broken heart. "You're a big meanie!"
Chaos rolled his eyes and waved him off. "Sorry, kid. But sometimes in life you gotta do unpleasant tasks. You just have to deal with them." A pause before a slow, dark chuckle escaped from him. "Just like when I killed you and Amber' parents." "You were too young to remember it fully, Berry. But you should have seen the look on your mother's face when I headshotted you father! Oh and your sister's face when I did the same to your mother."
"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" Berry sobbed.
"I actually can't answer that question. I'll deal with you tomorrow morning." He left Berry to cry by himself.
Amber and Des had just got back from Denny's and were now laying on the couch.
"How much do we have left?" Des asked. Amber reached her hand into her pocket and counted the bills.
"We still have a little over three hundred left. But we should start saving them."
"Where would we go if they find us here?"
"I doubt they will. And hey, even if they do, we won't let them win that easily."
"Yeah if they try to take them, I'll burn them to a crisp and you'll beat the crap out of them!"
Amber laughed slightly. "Yeah, that would happen,"
On the floor was a magazine that both Amber and Des did not notice the first time. On the cover was the headline
Woman all around reported missing, says local witnesses. Des had a dark feeling about this. He could already guess what had happened but the thought was too much for him so he stayed quiet.
"Wait..." Amber said.
"What?"
"Notice how everything else here seems really old?" she asked as she and Des looked around the room. Everything did look old. The T.V was broken, the couch had holes and tears in it, the other furninture had either a broken or missing part, and the walls didn't look exactly the best. "Look at this magazine. It looks brand new!" she whispered. "Like someone had just bought it in!"
Suddenly they heard a front door unlock and a man stepped in.
"Woah!" Des shouted. Amber got into a fighting-ready stance, but immediatley stopped when she saw he didn't look aggressive.
The man smiled. A bark was heard outside and a Labrador Poodle went inside the house. "Do not be afraid. I am not here to hurt you. My name's Bryson." He looked around. "Ever since I fell on hard times, I lost everything and this place is the only place me and Lola can live."
"Live here? But it's so broken here!" Des said.
"I know but me and Lola don't have anywhere else."
"You mean you're homeless?" Amber asked
Bryson nodded. "Things been a little rough for me since I lost my job. But I got Lola here to keep me company." He said as he petted his dog. He looked at them. "Your welcome to stay here too if you want."
"Thank you. We really appreciate it. Now if you don't mind telling us...where did you work?
Canterlot city was normally a civilized one for the most part. Nothing too bad happened often. But that wasn't true for a particular group that happened to reside in a apartment. Not exactly an apartment more like a hidden den on the corner of the streets.
A hooded figure walked towards the den, wearing a silver mask that covered the entire face and the hair completely hidden. The figure also wore black gloves and carried a duffel bag with her. It approached the door and gave it a secret knock.
The door swung open and a man answered it. He had on a muscle shirt, shorts and tattoos all over his chest. He also wore a gold chain around his neck. "What you want?!" He snapped at the figure. "Oh it's you, Virus. What do you want?"
"Nice seeing you here, Charles." The figure said softly. "I got a few offers if you'd like. Can I come inside?"
Charles stepped inside and the masked person walked in. Inside revealed Charles wasn't living alone. There were at least five other guys. The air in the den smelled of smoked ciggarettes. They were lounging on the couch and on the wall was a rack of guns and ammo. Besides the guns were knives and grenades. Virus put the bag on the table then opened it. Piled on the table were a handful of pistols, machine guns, assualt rifles, and bombs. Charles looked at them carefully.
"How much do you expect for these?"
"Oh I don't know...how much are you willing to offer?"
Charles whistled for one of his men to bring a briefcase. He opened it up in front of the masked person and presented it's contents. Inside the briefcase were stacks and stacks of hundreds of dollar bills.
"Alright, seems good enough. Oh and here," Virus said as it handed Charles the bags of ammunition. Charles took the weapons in exchange for the briefcase full of cash.
"Pleasure doing bussiness with you, Virus."
"Don't mention it," after the hooded figure left, it got back in the car and dialed someone.
"Chaos speaking",
"Chaos, have you got the boy yet?"
"Sure did. He's in one of the cell rooms right now as we speak.
"Good. And what about the girls?"
"I figure that I can lure them over here, they haven't come in yet."
"Oh we'll never find Berry in time!" Rarity wailed as she and her friends drove down the road. It had been two days since Berry has been kidnapped and the girls had taken it upon themselves to look for him along with the police search. However, there had been no news whatsoever and they were starting to assume the worst.
"You don't think he...you know...he-" Pinkie stammered but couldn't find the courage to finish her sentence.
"Chaos would want him alive, Pinkie. He wouldn't kill him." AppleJack said.
"Chaos..." Sunset said suddenly with a sharp intake of breath. Her eyes began to get teary.
"No, sir. We haven't got a single report back about the findings."
"Well keep looking for him. If it goes longer than this then this might have to turn into a body search."
"Yes, sir." the officer walked away. The chief got on the annoncement.
"I need every police officer in this search for the boy. Any reports about his whereabouts are to be reported immediatley!" -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Wait look!" Fluttershy pointed to a bird. It was perched on top of a STOP sign.
"Hey, that looks like the same bird we saw at the beach!" Rainbow said.
"Because it is the same one!" Fluttershy replied. "It's a spy for Chaos! That's how he was able to track us down!"
"I knew it!" Pinkie said confidently. "I knew something was off about that animal!"
"Uh-huh funny how you didn't anything about it before," Applejack sighed rolling her eyes.
Fluttershy got out of the car and marched up torwards the needle-tail.
"Lookie here, how nice it is to see you," the bird said in a sing-song. "I never got a chance to formerly introduce myself. Name's Ace. And I think I know what your here for."
"Where is he?!" Fluttershy demanded sternly.
"Haha, calm down, pretty girl. Use your manners."
Fluttershy breathed in through her nose and exhaled through her mouth. "Please...take us to him," she said with a bit of tension.
"Well since you asked nicely, I suppose I could lead you...in fact, Chaos said he wanted you all to come!"
"He's trying to lure us isn't he?!" Rainbow asked. She had walked up torwards them.
"Well if you want to see the boy again, that is." the needle-tail replied.
"Wait, Rainbow you can understand him?" Fluttershy asked surprised. Rainbow nodded. So did the rest of the girls. "Y-you can talk? I thought it was just me who understood you."
"enough about me, alright. Do you want to see Berry or not?"
"Take us to him, right now!" Applejack said angrily.
"Yeah! Or else something bad will happen to you!" Rainbow added cracking her knuckles.
The animal sighed. "Very well then, follow me." it took off and the girls followed.
"We better be prepared for an ambush," Sunset said. "I can already tell there will be one when we get there."
The girls nodded in agreement.
"Ok so find Berry, and take him out of there. Ok should be a piece of cake."
"It's going to be a lot harder than that, Rainbow" Twilight said. "First off, we need to figure out how to get past the many guards the place probably has. And second the cells probably have some sort of magical barrier so even with Applejack's strength or my knowledge, it would be impossible to break them out as we would need someone who knows a magic spell to deactivate them. And also I know we're going for Berry but shouldn't we try to free all the other kids too?"
Rainbow groaned. "You're always making things so complicated, Twi!" she complained.
"Not to mention we might have to face the Sirens again." Pinkie said nervously. "Only this time, we don't exactly have our instruments so it might be a teensy weensy bit harder than last time."
Rainbow groaned and put her head in her hands.
"I hope Berry's alright. Poor thing must be scared half to death!"
The girls continued to follow the needle-tail as it led them to the BlazeCorps building.
"You...used to work for the BlazeCorps?" Amber asked. Bryson nodded slowly.
"I not only worked thier, but I was one of the first to..." he took a deep breath.
"I used to work there too, but the things they do thier are so horrible I had to leave!"
"It must have been awful," Bryson said sympathetically. "Amber,"
"Mhm?"
"Would you...believe me if I said the BlazeCorps wasn't always a place of torment and evil?"
"Wasn't always?" Des asked. He was on the ground petting Lola who happily panted. The old man nodded slowly.
"It used to be a company with benevolent intentions. Where we would focus on magic and how we could use it to create new things. But then. Things changed. The BlazeCorps was now turned into a nightmare place. A place of misery and torture, oversaw by a person who runs the progam with an iron fist."
"Chaos..." Amber breathed but to her surprise, Bryson shook his head.
"It's not him. He's a good guess but no." His expression turned grim. "The one I'm talking about is the well-renowned scientist everyone seems to know."
"Wait...R-Rosie? You mean Rosie Shine?" Amber asked. Bryson nodded slowly.
"What other people see on TV is a kind and sweet girl, but on the inside...she's one of the worst monsters you'll ever meet."
"How do you know?"
The old man looked at her with grief. "Because I used to be friends with her father. Henry Shine. You probably don't know this but he was the one who founded BlazeCorps." Flashbacks came back to Bryson as he remembered being younger with a younger Henry. They wore formal business suits and standing in front of a huge building.
"Well, Henry. I must say I'm really impressed on your huge achievement. I must say congrats, man!"
"Thanks Bryson! I just hope this company can grow to be really successful." They went inside and looked around. It was a huge Engineer and Science lab with inventions displayed all over the shelves. Man made robots, self vacuuming roombas, prosthetics limbs, and much more. "We're going to start business in a few days." Then Henry thought of something. "If you want you can even start."
"Your joking right?"
"Nope. I mean it."
"I don't know, Henry. Seems like a big deal."
"I'm sure you'll do just fine." Henry reassured. "So will you take up on my offer?"
Bryson smiled slightly. "Oh alright I guess."
"There we go!" Henry said cheerfully. "Also it would be great for you to join my family for dinner later tonight."
Bryson shook his head. "No no no I can't"
"Come on, we insist. It will be enjoyable. I promise." Henry smiled warmly.
"Oh alright what the hell," Bryson gave in. They continued to tour the new building. As they were finished, a woman in a formal skirt came up to Henry and said
"Here are the keys to the building," she said as she handed him a key. "Congrats on all of this by the way. I have no doubt your company will grow into one of the biggest ones."
"Thank you, I really appreciate that." Henry said as he smiled. He turned to Bryson. "Alright, buddy I'll see you later tonight."
"Cya, take it easy," Bryson replied.
At Henry's house, He had invited Bryson over for dinner. "Nice place you have here." Bryson complimented. "And a pleasure it is to meet you, Mrs. Shine." he said meeting Henry's wife. She was a blonde haired woman. She had on a pink t-shirt with blue jeans.
"Please, call me Angie." she said. They sat down at the table and started to pass out the food. It was steak and stuffed mushrooms."
"This is really, good." Bryson said as they ate.
"Thank you! I made it myself." Angie said.
"Hey, Dad!" shouted a voice excitedly. Bryson saw a 20 year old girl, come through the front door.
"Hey, sweetheart, how nice it is for you to come visit." Henry said as he gave his daughter a hug.
"Well I am glad to be here. College is getting a little bit hectic for me you know," she chuckled. She then noticed Bryson sitting at the dinner table with her parents. Henry noticed and told his daughter,"
"Rosie, this is Mr. Moore. He's a close friend of mine."
"Hi, Mr. Moore. It's great to meet you." Rosie said cheerfully.
"A pleasure it is to meet you too, lass." Bryson said gently.
"So, Bryson what do you do for a living?" Angie asked. Bryson looked up from his food.
"I work as an engineer. I'm actually working with Henry and I'm about to start my first day tomorrow."
"Well, that's splendid."
"My father always makes the coolest inventions, doesn't he?" Rosie giggled.
"Indeed he does." Bryson agreed. "Henry, you could even sell them for a fortune!"
"Maybe, but I'll think about that when I cross the bridge later." Henry replied.
"It would be great if I owned the company!" Rosie said. "I actually been learning to invent things from my father. It would be my dream come true to take over once he's gone!"
"Rosie, don't get too excited," Angie told her daughter. "You know your father worked very hard to get to where he's at. Don't expect to take ownership so easily when he's gone."
"I know, Mom. But don't you think I could?"
"Of course, pumpkin. But don't get too ambitous okay?"
"Alright."
They continued to eat and Rosie excused herself from the table. Bryson looked at his time. "Well I don't want to be in your hair any moment longer, so Ima just take off. You have a good night and thanks for inviting me over."
"It's no problem. You have a good night. Drive safe!" Henry said cheerfully.
"And then...it all hapened." Bryson breathed slowly.
"I...don't know at all. One minute I was walking back to my car and then...the next thing I knew I was in court charged for manslaughter." Bryson shuddered. "They told me I had murdered Henry in cold blood...but I had no memory at all about it."
"Y-you killed Henry?" Amber asked shakily begining to back away and putting a protective arm around Des. Maybe I should call the cops but her phone had died and Des didn't have one.
"When I saw the footage from the cameras, it was me, but I don't know how it happened." Bryson said sadly. "It's like...someone took control of me, but maybe I snapped and did commit the murder, and that's what I believed for a long time."
Henry and Angie did the dishes while Rose cleaned the table. Rosie's words echoed in Angie's mind. Should we really be worried? Our daughte wouldn't hurt anyone...at least not her own family..." They noticed Rosie had finished cleaning the table and assumed she had went up to her room. The sound of the front door unlocked and Bryson walked inside.
"Hey, Bryson, you forget something?" Henry asked. Bryson had a blank expression on his face. He didn't answer, he quickly pulled out a gun. Angie screamed as Bryson pulled the trigger shooting Henry right in the skull. Then he shot Angie in the heart. Both her parents were dead. Rosie immeidaltey dialed 9-1-1.
"9-1-1 what's your emergency"
"YES?! HELLO?! YOU HAVE TO COME QUICK SOME CRAZY DUDE JUST CAME IN AND KILLED MY PARENTS?!" Rosie said in the most dramatic voice. "I'm going to try and hold him off for you! Please hurry!" Rosie gave the cops her address.
"We'll be right over there."
Rosie took out a black gemstone from her pocket. It had a glowing aura around it as it glowed fiercely. She deactivated it and Bryson suddenly dropped the gun and collapsed. He was still breathing. The cops showed up and Rosie immediatley took them to the "culprit".
"He's in here, Officers!" she said as she showed them Bryson's unconscious form. The gun was still in his hand. "I even have video proof!" There was a camera in the house and Rosie showed her evidence to the Chief. It showed Bryson killing both Angie's parents with the gun he still held in his hand.
"Do you know what his name is?" The Chief asked.
"Yes, Chief. His name is Bryson Moore. And he killed my parents, specifically my father because he wanted to take over his job!" Rosie said desperatley.
The Chief turned torwards his fellow men. "Grab the two bodies. We'll use them as evidence."
"Yes, Sir." the guards replied.
The chief grabbed Bryson, who was still unconcious and put him in handcuffs. He and his Officers took the bodies and Bryson away and drove off.
It was damn lucky of me I was able to escape..." Bryson said. "But after I escaped, I realized my life was completely turned upside down. If I ever try to apply for a job, they would recognize me, and I'll get thrown in prison again."
Rosie began to get a worried feeling in her mind when Bryson said he escaped. "When you escaped, you didn't...hurt anyone did you?"
Bryson shook his head. "I didn't hurt anyone. But I had to be extremely quiet. Let me tell you, I barely escaped. After I escaped I hitched a ride on a bus. Before I knew it, I was in Canterlot."
*Five months after the murder*
Bryson carefully walked through the streets of Canterlot City. Being cautious not to be seen from large crowds, should he be recognized. He already assumed his face was all over the news, not to mention his name too. Luckily there didn't seem to be much people. A miserable feeling came up inside him. He couldn't apply for a job. They would probably recognize him immediatley. What was he to do? He had no way to get back home and he had no cash.
"Excuse me, Sir?"
Bryson nearly jumped in surprised. He turned around to see a pale yellow teen girl with pink hair. She had a light green skirt with butterflies on it, white tank top, and green boots.
"Uh, hi. Can I help you?" Bryson asked trying to sound polite. He noticed the girl seemed to be quiet nervous. "I'm sorry, who are you?"
"Oh. I'm Fluttershy." she said softly.
"Nice to meet you, Fluttershy. I'm Bryson. What was it you need?"
"I-I was wondering if you wanted a pet."
Bryson realized he was standing near the animal shelter. It didn't take him long to figure out this girl worked there. He felt his cash in his pocket. He had a guilty look on his face.
"I'm sorry, Miss. I don't even have enough."
"Oh no no no!" Fluttershy quickly said. "You don't have to pay anything! It's for free!" Bryson thought for a moment. A pet would be nice. He was feeling lonley since he had lost everything.
"Oh alright. What pet do you have in mind?"
Fluttershy beamed in delight. "You mean it?!"
"I do," Bryson smiled warmly. Fluttershy led him inside the animal shelter. The first thing he noticed was there were a lot of animals.
"For this week, we're giving away free animals as pets." Fluttershy explained. "Choose whatever one you like and it's all yours with no cost!"
Bryson looked around. His attention was caught by a light brown labradoodle. It was in a sitting position wagging it's tail. Bryson walked over to the cage and looked at it in awe.
"Well hey there," Bryson said warmly. "What's your name?"
"Oh that's Lola. She was one of my longest occupants here." Fluttershy said. "She's one of the sweetest animals I've ever taken care of!"
Bryson looked at Lola as she happily wagged her tail. "Who's a good girl? I know you are!"
"Arf!" Lola barked happily as she continued to wag her tail and spin around in circles.
"There's no question. I'll take her off your hands."
Fluttershy smiled with delight as she unlocked the cage and Lola ran happily to Bryson nearly knocking him to the ground.
"Woah, there, calm yourself girl!" he laughed as he petted his newfound pet. It licked his face and Bryson continued to pet her. He realized that he may have lost everything, but at least he knew he wouldn't be alone anymore. "Thank you so much. I didn't realize how much I needed a pet."
"It's no problem, sir." Fluttershy said sweetly. "And I have no doubt that you would take good care of her." She gave Bryson a free leash, food bowl, and at least a year's supply of dog food.
"Wow, you really came prepared," Bryson said quite impressed. "Well you have a wonderful night." After saying goodbye, he left the animal shelter.
Bryson and Lola looked around town. They came across a brick alleyway and a sick feeling came inside him. Was this what it all came to? For him to end up begging on the streets? He saw he was near a Library and went inside. Luckily, no one seemed to pay him any mind as he browsed through the books. He figured if he was going to die homeless, he might as well have something to occupy himself with. He tied Lola on the pole. "I'll be back alright, girl?" Lola barked and he went inside. He looked through the books and chose the one titled 'High Achiever'. A story about a woman overcoming her opioid addict and her 120 days behind bars. Bryson had always been interested in stories like these ones. Granted he has never been a drug addict, nor has he used them, but it still intrigued him nontheless. He took the book from the shelf and went up to the front desk.
"Hi, I would like to rent this book please." he told the person at the front. The woman at the front smiled.
"Great, do you have a library card with you?"
"Oh..."Bryson frowned. "I...didn't know I needed one."
"Oh is this your first time here?"
Bryson looked around again. He wanted to make sure no one else could hear him. "Well yeah. I actually never been in this town before."
"Don't worry about it. Since it's your first time here, we can give you a card first time free and if you lose it, it's only 5 dollars to replace it."
"That would be wonderful," Bryson said gratefully. "Thank you so much." The woman gave him his card and his book.
"That book will be due in 2 weeks."
"Thank you, have a nice one."
Bryson took his new book and went outside. He saw Lola lying on the ground. As soon as she saw him, she got up and happily ran to him.
"Arf!"
Bryson chuckled as he petted her head. "That's a good girl." He untied her and they looked for a place to stay, but to his dismay, the apartments were far beyond his budget. He was beginning to think maybe he really did have to sleep on the streets. Feelings of sadness gloomed over him. But with sadness came confusion. How? How could this have happened? He was feeling sad because he had lost everything and was now homeless. But was also confused as to how it all happened? It was Bryson on the surveillance camera but he had absolutley no memory. All he remembered was going back to his car and finding himself in the court room. He had tried to deny but the footage was more than enough proof. Considering the fact the camera that was used was an old model and no possibility to cut or edit footage. Sometimes, he felt like maybe he did kill Henry in his rage. He did have a slight short temper, but even then the worst of him would be insults and swears. Not full blown murder. He sighed to himself and Lola began to whimper. "Don't worry, girl. We'll find somewhere safe to sleep," but even he wasn't sure where they would go. They continued to walk further down until they had reached the outside of the city. To his surprise, he had found a one story house that seemed like it had been abandoned for a long time. It felt kind of wrong to let himself in, but what choice could he have? If he had tried to tell anyone of his situation, they would never believe him. He and Lola went to the front of the house. There were no doorbells. He gave a knock on the door. "Hello?! Anyone home?!" he asked. No answer. He looked at the door handle. Door's probably locked anyway. He still gave it a try and to his surprised, it opened. He stepped inside and took a look around him. The first thing he noticed was that it was defintley messy. The furniture was all torn, the T.V was broken beyond repair, and the walls themselves didn't look exactly the best. Lola whimpered and Bryson figured she was getting hungry. He looked at this watch and saw it was dinner time. He poured her a bowl of dog food and set it on the ground. She happily ate her food. Her owner began to feel hungry as well. He looked in the fridge and saw there were quite a bit of food left. Mainly frozen pizza and noodles. He looked at the date and read that it wouldn't expire until next year. He put the pizza in the microwave and heated it up. After taking it out from the microwave, he began to eat his pizza while Lola ate her food. After he was done, he threw the pizza box away and saw Lola had finished with her bowl. He took the bowl and poured a bottle of water he found from the fridge in it. It was already half past ten and he decided it was time to turn in for the night. There was a decent looking matress in one of the rooms. He invited Lola inside and he got under the covers while his dog laid at the end of his bed. He didn't feel like taking a shower. He figured they were all broken. He turned off the lights and drifted off to sleep.
Sunset and her friends followed the bird as they drove down the street. It was getting really dark and they began to worry that they wouldn't be able to see, but luckily they were already drawing near thier destination. It was a large three story building that was in the middle of nowhere.
"Is this where Berry's been taken?" Fluttershy asked beginning to get frightful. "I really hope the little baby is alright!"
"Let's show these assholes who's really the boss!" Rainbow growled cracking her knuckles.
"Rainbow, we need to make sure no to get to carried away. We still need to set a good example for Berry." AppleJack said. "We can't be too violent."
"AppleJack, there is no other way! What you think if we ask nicely they're going to give him back? Fuck no! We need to fight them!"
"But our main priority is to find Berry," Twilight reminded them. As they neared torwards the building the bird perched itself on top of the door frame.
"Don't worry, Berry! We'll save you!" Fluttershy shouted.
Twilight and Co hid behind the corner. There were two armed guards in front of the entrance. Each of them wielding machine guns.
"How are we going to get in? The place is probably full of guards!" Rarity whispered loudly.
"Don't worry, I got this." Twilight said. She used her magic to slam to two guards into eachother knocking them out. "Let's go!" The girls rushed inside the building. When they entered, they began to look around.
"What is this place?" Fluttershy gasped. The other girls were amazed by thier surroundings as well. It looked like something from the future. There were a lot of doors that led to different places. Some had signs that read 'Testing Rooms' on it. As they searched around, a sick feeling came up inside Sunset.
"Y-you don't think he-" but the last word was too much stress to even say it.
"I'm sure Berry is still alive. They would want him alive remember?" Applejack reminded.
"Yeah, but what if they hurt him real bad? He'll never be the same again!"
AppleJack bit her lip and shuddered. "You're right."
"Lookey here. The Equestria Girls here to save the day...again! "So sweet of all of you to come this far to rescue the miserable brat!"
Sunset looked up and saw Ace perched on top of the ceiling light. "YOU! Bring us to Berry right now!" she said angrily. Ace only laughed at her.
"Awwwww, you really want the brat back?"
"He is not a brat now bring us to him or else!" Rainbow threatened cracking her knuckles.
"so easy to make you girls angry I see, but you wouldn't hurt animals would you? Especially you, Fluttershy?" the bird slyly asked. "Fluttershy the Element of Kindness. You wouldn't dare to hurt anyone?"
"Don't think about using her element as an advantage!" AppleJack shouted. "This is your last warning! Bring him to us...now!"
"Okay, okay jeez all you had to do was ask nicely...but first."
All of sudden, what sounded like three harmonized vocals echoed throughout the building.
"You got three friendly girls who would like to have a rematch with you all since your last battle with them."
The vocals that echoed sounded horribly familiar. Sunset and her friends knew what, or who they were.
"We need to fight the Dazzlings again?!" Rainbow said in disbelief.
"Who are the Dazzlings?" Twilight asked.
"They were a group of girls who tried to take over the world with thier singing!" Rainbow said. "And now they're back!"
"And even worse, there is a lot of negative energy around here!" Pinkie said in despair. "And we don't even have our instruments!"
"I see you girls are excited about the rematch. If you win you might get a reward! Bye bye!" Ace said with giddy excitement as he flew off.
*flashback* Bryson had taken Lola out for a walk outside in the city. He still wore the same clothes he had since yesterday. He was beggining to feel like this was how it was going to be but he shook his head and silently reminded himself he shouldn't give up hope that easily. He continued to walk until he saw someone sitting on the benches. A girl who was in her early-mid 20s. She wore a gray skirt and white t-shirt. Bryson immediatley recognized the girl. Rosie Shine.
Rosie seemed to notice him first. She gave him a cheerful wave. "Hi how you doing, Mr. Moore?" she happily asked.
"Hi..." Bryson replied back. He wasn't exactly sure what he should say. "You seem quite happy after...you know"
"I was upset at first," Rosie admitted. "But if there's anything my father has taught me is that everyone deserves forgiveness." Then she took something out of her pocket and showed it to him. "You know, I always thought magic was just a fairy tail. But I recently found out I was wrong." The black gemstone in her pocket began to faintly glow. "Sometimes I think about my father and how much I miss him." She sighed.
"I can tell you and your father are really close," Bryson guessed.
"We were. I was always his special little pumpkin. He was a genius also. I always wanted to be just like him. We always had a special bond."
"Listen, Rosie." Bryson began. "Even if I don't remember doing it, I just want to let you know how sorry I am for what I did."
"Hey, I already forgave you," Rosie smiled. "And besides it isn't entirely your fault. I just did what I had to do to take over my father's job."
As soon as she said that, everything in the world seemed to stop. Bryson nearly choked on his words. "What...did you say?"
"Ok, ok I know this sounds horrible but come on, no one lives forever you know."
A horrible feeling passed over Bryson as he tried to piece together what Rosie was saying. "You killed your parents?!" Lola began to whimper.
Rosie's cheerful front suddenly disapeared and her innocent smile was replaced by an evil one. "Maybe...you could even say you were...controlled!"
"Wait...you used magic to control me and kill your parents?!"
"Well I had no choice!" Rosie shot back. "I couldn't wait any longer. Something had to happen now!"
Bryson could now see the true monster underneath the angel facade. "YOU MONSTER?! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE DONE?! YOU KILLED YOUR OWN PARENTS JUST BECAUSE FELT ENTITLED TO TAKE OVER YOUR FATHER'S JOB!" he took a step back and Lola followed him hiding behind his legs.
"So what?" Rosie retailiated. "I would have been a better owner than he'll ever be!" Then she took a deep breath and explained further. "Mr. Moore you know what magic is right? Well magic is power and people will pay great fortune to get it, but then I realized something. A human powered by magic would bring make me one of the richest person on earth."
"What are you saying?" Bryson asked angrily.
"I'll raise a new generation of super enchanced humans. There are people who are willing to pay huge cash for one single person. Think about it, the customer gets to have thier own super powered servant and I get paid greatly for it."
"You won't once I tell everyone what a fraud you are!"
"Please. Who do you think they're going to believe? Some random homeless guy or a renowned scientist?" Rosie taunted. "Everyone loves me. I'm thier superhero Mr. Moore. If I were you I'd run away from here. Don't want to end up back in prison do you?"
She suddenly snapped her fingers and she teleported away. Bryson sat down in disbelief. A raging feeling inside him as he clenched his fist. But what Rosie said had stuck in his mind. How was he going to tell everyone that Rosie wasn't who they thought she was?
Vs The Sirens Part 2/Something happening to Sunset!
The beautiful yet haunting sounds of the sirens continued to echoe throughout the building. "It sounds so beautiful!" Rarity said in awe.
"Rarity, focus! You can't let them distract you!" Twilight said.
"We have to stop them! This place is full of negative energy and who knows how powerful they will get!" Twilight said.
"Hey! Put your hands up!" shouted angry voices. Twilight then realized they were guards aiming thier guns at them.
"Put 'em up!" they repeated.
"Right now looks like we have some ass kicking to do!" Rainbow said with a smirk. She used her speed to get behind one of the guards and violently shove him against the wall. Another guard tried to shoot her but he was no match for her speed. She quickly went up and tossed him against another one the guards knocking them out. She grabbed both guns.
"Fluttershy!" she shouted tossing one to her.
Fluttershy squeaked as she caught it. "Wha-Rainbow! I don't know how-"
But two guards rapidly advanced towards her and she unintentionally threw the gun at them. They both had confused expressions on thier face.
Rainbow gave Fluttershy a 'seriously?' look. "You were supposed to shoot it! Not throw it!" She demonstrated by aiming the gun and shooting down a few guards. Killing them in the process. A guard tried to attack AppleJack but ended up getting punched through the wall. Twilight used her telekinesis to attack send a projectile painitng at them. The other guards knew they couldn't get close so they kept a safe distance and opened fired. Rarity produced diamond shields on her and her friends. The guards continued to attack. One of them managed to attack Rainbow knocking her to the ground, but before he could deliver the killing shot, he suddenly got attacked by Rarity from behind. She created a sharp diamond dagger and stabbed him, causing him to scream in pain as she pulled it out. Rainbow got an idea.
"Rarity! Hand a couple over to me!"
Now Rainbow used her speed to quickly take out the rest of the guards. Her speed and now adding to her lethal weapons proved to be fatal for the guards. After clearing out the guards. They still heard the voices of the sirens. This time it sounded louder and more stronger than before.
They heard the singing coming from the other room.
"You ready?" Sunset asked.
They nodded and stepped inside. They saw the sirens floating above the ground. Singing as green negative energy coursed through the room and found its way into thier new pendants.
"You!" Sunset angrily shouted. "Do you realize what you're doing?!"
Adagio and the others stopped singing. The lead siren looked at Sunset and made a cruel smile. "Ever since you miserable bitches defeated us at our last battle, we've been waiting for the perfect moment to get our revenge on you!" she raged. Then a wicked grin appeared on her face. "Chaos actually said you would help us!"
"Like hell I would!" Sunset shot back. Suddenly the other girls were pushed back by some unseen force. Chaos was in the room and he held a black gemstone. Rainbow pointed the gun at him but he held his hand and the gun went flying from her grip.
"ah ah ah...if you kill me, Berry dies," he threatened. "And if you also run away, Berry also dies! Suddenly Sunset was sent flying torwads Chaos and landed hard on the ground. She tried to attack him but it seemed like an invisible hand held her in her place, but Sunset knew it wasn't Twilight. She saw a mysterious masked figure holding out it's hands. Sunset knew it was the figure that was doing it.
"You will obey my every command!" Chaos said. He took a black gemstone from his pocket and snapped his fingers. Sunset suddenly collapsed to the ground.
"Sunset!" Pinkie screamed. "How could you, you monster!"
"Calm down, Pinkie. She's not dead." Chaos said calmly. He then took another energy gemstone and threw torwads the ground near Sunset. It's magic contained inside going into her.
"What are you doing?!" Rarity screamed.
Sunset got up again, to the girls's relief. However Sunset's face was emotionless as she stood there. Chaos pointed torwards the other girls. "Kill them," he ordered. Sunset only nodded.
Chaos and the masked figure teleported away from the scene leaving the girls alone with the Sirens.
Twilight ran over to Sunset. "Sunset, are you ok-"
Sunset quickly got up and blasted a deadly beam of magical energy at her. Rainbow quickly pushed Twilight out of the way.
"Sunset, what are you doing?! Stop!" AppleJack shouted but Sunset ignored her as she continued to attack her friends. The Sirens laughed as they enjoyed watching what was happening to the girls. Then they began to transform into thier true forms. They soon started to attack with thier singing voices. This time there was something new to it. The new pendants had the ability to drain magic from the girls!
Rainbow tried to use her speed to attack the Sirens but to her shock Sunset was somehow just as quick as her and roughly attacked her to the floor. "Sunset, knock it off!" she said. Then she looked into the fire-haired girl's eyes and realized the irisis were dark red. "Oh no..."
Sunset let out a scream of rage as she attacked her friends.
The sirens, in thier true form began to circle around the girls while Sunset continued to attack them. To the girl's terror, they could feel thier magic being drained away by the sirens. But they couldn't do anything because without one of the elements to help them, they were all screwed!
The other girls ponied up and attacked the Sirens. They engaged in a battle as the girls used thier powers and the Sirens attacked back. Adagio dived in to kill Twilight but Rainbow pushed her at the last second. Unfortnatley, Sunset attacked both Twilight and Rainbow with a deadly lazer beam. The battle still raged on. The Sirens continued to attack and use thier singing gaining even more power.
The girls struggled to keep on fighting as Sunset relentlessly attacked them. Twilight tried to use her magic but felt herself getting weaker and weaker. "What's happening?!" she gasped.
"I think our magic is draining!" Pinkie said. To thier horror, the magic they had suddenly went weaker. AppleJack had a significant decrease in strength, Rainbow lost a lot of speed, and the other girls had a decrease in thier powers.
"No! It can't be!" Twilight cried. "We can't lose!" But they were losing hope fast. They were getting overpowered. To make matters even worse, as the girls grew weaker, Sunset seemed to grow even more powerful. A radiant aura formed around her.
Rainbow Dash charged at Aria but was met with a powerful blow that sent her crashing at the wall. A painful groan came from her as she tried to get up but the next thing she knew, Sunset was in her face with a snarled expression. This wasn't Sunset anymore. Rainbow tried to get away but Sunset punched her sending her through the wall with a loud crash. Rainbow gritted her teeth after the painful blow as she clutched her side.
"Rainbow!" Rarity and Twilight gasped. Sunset charged again but this time, AppleJack intervened. Feeling guilty what she was going to do, AJ attacked Sunset but the fired-hair girl was ready. She did a flying back-kick hitting AJ in the face, then she grabbed her leg and violently tossed her to the ceiling, hard. AJ tried to keep up but Sunset was too fast and powerful. Delivering blows after blows while AJ tried to block but her weakened state made it even harder. Twilight extended her hands to push Sunset away but Sunset was quicker and Twilight felt a giant hand toss her to the wall. Similar to Rainbow.
"Come on, I've seen better!" Adagio sneered. She laughed and the other two Sirens joined in. "We'll leave you friends alone. Try not to be too rough on them, Sunset!" The Sirens flew away leaving the girls with Sunset.
"That's not Sunset, Twilight!" AJ screamed. Sunset attacked AJ but Twilight used the last amount of her strength to knock Sunset back. The loud hit caused a loud shaking in the room and the huge chandlier that was on top came crashing down. On to Sunset.
"SUNSET NOOOOOO!!!!" The girls cried out in despair. But the bloody body, underneath the glass shards wasn't moving.
Twilight quickly went over to Sunset and removed the shards from her. She shook her friend in an attempt to wake her up. "Sunset! Sunset! If you can hear me please wake up!" But the body covered in blood was not responding. Tears started to prick the corner of her eyes. "No no no no no. You can't die!"
The other girls were crying also. Pinkie's hair deflated, Fluttershy put her hands over her mouth. Rarity hugged Fluttershy and AppleJack comforted Rainbow and Pinkie.
"The new pendants seems to be working very well," Ace commented as he watched through the Monitors. He was perched on Chaos's shoulders as he too observed the fight. "But what about that red-hair? Didn't you say nothing would stop her?"
"Nothing will stop her. We just need to make a little more adjustments to her. Pretty soon she'll be a mindless killing machine." Chaos said as he looked at the unconcious body. "It seems like I didn't put enough magic in her to survive." He noticed the 6 other girls were now gone. "They should be near soon. Killing them will be one of our most important priorities."
Ace flew off to confront the girls while Chaos left the room. He got two of his guards and they went into the room the battle had taken place. He kneeled down and checked Sunset's pulse. It was still there, but very faint. He took a syringe and injected it into her side. The cuts and gashes had healed instantly upon doing so. He took the needle out and threw it away. "Take her to the expirement room. I need to make improvements on her." The two guards obeyed as they carried the unconcious girl to the labratory.
"Sunset can't be dead...can she?!" Rarity cried with tears leaking her face.
"It can't be..." Pinkie said sadly. "She can't be dead..."
"Looks like the Dazzlings proved to be too much for you girls!"
AppleJack looked up and saw Ace flying above them. "You!"
"Yes, yes it's me. No need to point it out!"
"Bring us to Berry!"
"Ehhh I would, but you didn't win did you? No no no no" And for that I'm afraid you'll never see the brat again."
Rainbow pulled out a gun and pointed it at Ace. "You fucking call him a brat one more time and there'll be a god damn bullet in your tiny skull!"
"Look. I have no power over what happens to the kid. Accidents happen you know. Come on. You girls are the very definitions of pure good. You wouldn't hurt anyone." He turned torwards Fluttershy. "You wouldn't dare hurt an animal would you?"
"No." Fluttershy said. "But you are not an animal! You're just a heartless bully!"
"no no no you got it all wrong. Think about it this way. These kids sacrificed thier lives so our lives can be better."
"No, they were taken away from thier families and heartlessly killed off for your guys' evil desires!" Rainbow shouted.
"Fine, if you want your little boy so badly, then go find him! Good luck! HAHAHAHAHA!"
Ace flew off down the hall. The girls realized they were in the 'expirement' section. They looked down the hall started to walk down the hall passing every cell door. It was now they realized that the cells were not empty. All of them had occupants in them. Fluttershy gasped in horror and Rainbow and Rarity were beyond shock.
"What kind of monster...would do this?" Fluttershy whimpered.
"A big mean meanie pants that's who!" Pinkie said
The occupants were mostly children. Some as young or even younger than Berry. They were all crying. Wanting to go home. The heartbroken kids made Fluttershy's heart shatter. She so badly wanted to help them, but if she tried, they would get caught...and the kids...would be killed. The older children repeteadley banged on the cell door. Trying to burst it open. Some even tried to use thier 'Powers' but even that doesn't work. Not only was there a lock on the door, there was also a magical force field that would only deactivate when said by the one who put it up in the first place.
Bryson had decided to take a little walk around town. He saw Amber and Des were gone and assumed they had gone out for the night. Taking a look around his surroundings, he sighed. Was this how it was going to be? Living in hiding for the rest of my life?. He felt angry. His life was ruined all because of some entitled brat. But who was he kidding? No matter how hard he tried, they would never believe him. Everyone loves Rosie. Rosie the all good, Rosie thier hero. He was sick of it. He decided to calm himself by taking a walk outside.
Come here, Lola!" he said. Lola came happily to him and he put her on the leash. "You wanna go on a walk, girl?" Lola spun around in circles and barked to answer his question. "Well I guess that's a yes." He and Lola stepped outside and began walking. It was a little past 9:00 PM and was getting a little dark so Bryson decided to make it a quick one. He and Lola walked through the city streets. Unfortunatley, he was about to become a target. He felt someone violently shove him against the wall. He gritted his teeth in pain as his arms were twisted behind his back.
"You're that guy murdered Henry!" The one who attacked him said angrily.
"I can assure you, this is a huge misunderstanding!"
"Ha! You can't lie! Everything you did was caught on camera! I immediatley recognized you from your mugshot! Just wait until I tell the cops about this!"
Lola began to whimper. She was no attack dog and wouldn't dare hurt anyone.
"What kind of sick person are you?!" the guy pressed on. "Killing him just so you could take over his job, huh?!"
"You mean, Rosie?"
"Don't you ever blame Rosie! Why would such a sweet and innocent girl do something so horrible?"
"Uhh because she's not sweet and innocent?" Bryson suddenly elbowed the man in the stomach causing him to let go. But Bryson wasn't done. He pulled the man over and kneed him three times. His attacker tried to fight back but this time he felt someone do an uppercut up his chin, however it wasn't Bryson who was doing it. The man felt himself get beat up by an unseen force. He tried to stop it, but the entire time, he felt unseen punches and kicks all over his body. Then he was thrown against the wall and was knocked out. Then Bryson began to see someone materialize out of thin air. Amber. Des stood behind her. Even though he already knew about Amber's powers, he was still shocked.
"Yes, I have powers," Amber said quickly.
"Does that mean-"
"Yes, I used to work for the BlazeCorps until I saw the horrible things they did!"
Bryson didn't know what to say.
"Come on, let's get the hell out of here!" Amber quickly said. She, Des, Bryson, and Lola got in the car and drove off.
"Where are we going?" Bryson asked.
"We're going to the BlazeCorps. It's time to end thier reign of terror for good!"
"I'm right with you," Bryson said. They drove off into the night. Amber knew exactly where to go. She felt a little nervous. She hoped that her baby brother was still ok. As well as any other children who were still lucky. As much as she wanted to refuse to believe Bryson she couldn't help think, what if it was true? She had seen magic in front of her very eyes so a mind control gem wasn't too far fetched. But Rosie being evil? She just couldn't believe it. Bryson checked his phone and there was a message from Rosie herself regarding the fact that many children had gone missing. Bryson couldn't help but hide his disgusment over the sad look plastered on Rosie's face.
"I am totally aware about the incident that is currently going on. So I have decided to work with the police to try and locate the kids and bring them back to thier family. I want everyone to know this. All my thoughts and prayers go out to thier families and loved ones. Don't give up. I know this is a very difficult situation to be in, but we must always stay strong."
"Many more. It's been going like this for years. Listen. We are going to save those kids, expose Rosie for her fraud, and you won't ever be homeless again," Des said.
Bryson looked shocked. "I don't know about that last part. There's just no way-"
"That's because everyone is wrapped around Rosie's little finger! They all love her because SHE is the face of what everyone wants! Reliable, Smart, and for some guys...pretty. It's not too late."
"But how can we prove to everyone the truth about her?"
"I have to think about that..." Amber admitted. She continued to drive off.
"Des, if you don't mind telling me. How exactly did you...you know, get your powers?"
Des sighed. "You know. I actually don't remember much. All I know was one day my parents were dead and then before I knew it I was taken to the BlazeCorps. They told me it was an orphanage but I knew something was off. Sure enough I was right. I found out that they were responsible for the death of my parents. Just like they did to for every other kid who was captured."
"Damn, how much did that place change?" Bryson asked softly. "It used to have well intentions. All it takes is one person to turn a place of wonder into a nightmare realm."
Sunset laid on the expirement table unconcious. Chaos had injected another syringe into her arm she twitched violently making an animalistic grunting noise, but Chaos didn't care. Footsteps sounded behind him, getting closer and closer to the expirement table.
"You sure did put a lot of fuel in her," Virus commented. She wore a white lace suit and pants with high heels. Her face was still covered with her mask. She approached Sunset who made a snarl like a wild animal.
"Do not attack, Sunset!" Chaos ordered sternly. Sunset obeyed and let Virus do whatever she was doing. The masked female placed her hand under Sunset's chin and made her look into her eyes.
"Quite a wild one aren't you?" Virus said. "Don't forget why you're here. You are to serve us and no one else!" Then she said quietly, "Don't forget who your enemies are." She looked at Chaos. "Have her ready by the time I come back."
Chaos nodded. "That won't be an issue." Virus was about to leave the room when Ace came flying in.
"Master! It seems like two more people are here!"
Chaos, Virus, and Ace quickly ran to the security room and checked the monitors. It was a teen girl, a man and an 8 year old boy. Chaos didn't recognize them but Virus seemed to know the man. Inidicated when she said "So he has returned."
"I think someone already took them out." Amber replied. "Wait, I nearly forgot!" she ran back to the car and took out a 9 milimeter black glock. She gave it to Bryson. "You're going to need this!"
Bryson looked worried as he looked at the deadly weapon in his hand. Sure it wasn't a magically enchanced but still, these things are incredibly dangerous! "I don't really feel comfortable with killing anyone. It's just not right."
"I know, but there's no other way. The BlazeCorps have gone way too far at this point. It's time we put an end to the evil people who run this place!" Amber said loudly. "Now come on!" The three went inside.
The Dazzlings, now in thier true forms were circling above the building singing with thier beautiful voices as they fed off the negative energy that came from this place of horror.
"This is it, girls! Our revenge against those bratty teens is nearly complete!" Adagio laughed
"It's so fun to see them powerless against us!" Aria said with excitment.
"Ooooh maybe we can have the girls beg on thier knees asking us to spare them!" Sonata squealed.
"Maybe, but revenge against those girls is not what we truly came for. It's only a side quest. Our real goal is Equestria!" Adagio said. "That place has more magic than this world. And as soon as we gather enough of our energy back, no one will ever get in our way again!" Once they get enough power they plan to return to Equestria. Where even more magic can be absorbed.
Berry had long ago gave up trying to call for help. He started to cry that he was thirsty but no one seemed to care, let alone hear him. He curled up into a ball and cried even harder as he thought about his family. He started to have memories of them before they died. He wished they were still here. His mother, father, and his sister. He remembered his mother would always cradle him whenever he cried.
Shhhhh....shhhhhh, don't cry baby, don't cry" Sofia hushed softly as she cradled Berry in her arms after a nightmare. He pressed his head on his mother's chest and whimpered while his mother continued to rub his back. "Don't worry, baby, it's just a nightmare, shhhhhh" she whispered gently bounching him up and down. She kissed his cheek and sang him a lullaby.

"Is everything alright?"
Sofia turned around to see her teenaged daughter in the doorway. "We're fine, Amber. Your baby brother just had a nightmare." She began to yawn as her eyelids hinted at her they were getting tired. "Amber, could you stay with your brother until he calms down?" Amber nodded and took Berry in her arms and placed his head on her chest so he can listen to her heartbeat. Sofia went back to bed and Amber sat on the edge of the bed as she continued to gently rock her baby brother back and forth. "You feeling better?" she asked softly. Berry still cried into her chest as Amber placed her chin on top of his head, being careful not to hurt him. "Awww you poor baby. Do you want me to sleep with you?" Berry hugged her neck tighter. "I'll take that as a yes." she went under the covers with Berry and wrapped her arms around him in an embrace. Berry still whimpered so she kissed his cheek shushed him softly until he finally calmed down. Then he fell back asleep and his sister did the same.
Berry was still in his cell as he went through his flashback. He wanted to be with his family again. He started to cry again when the door opened and Chaos stepped in. He yelped and tried to run away but Chaos waved him off.
"Relax, kid. I'm not here to hurt you. I just have someone who would like to see you. I think you two have met before." He stepped aside and Virus stepped into the cell room. Berry began to feel scared as Chaos left the room. Virus slowly approached Berry as he began to whimper and back up. Unfortnunatley for him, he hit a dead end wall and there was no where else to go.
"Please don't hurt me! I wanna go home!" he wailed.
"Don't be afraid, little one." Virus said. Then she put her hands on the side of her mask and lifted it up. Revealing she had blonde hair. Berry recognized her immediatley but couldn't say it. The masked figure had been revealed. Virus...is Rosie Shine!
"You remember me don't you?" Rosie asked with a smile. "I know I remember you and your dear sister."
"What did you do to her?!" Berry screamed
"It's okay. I didn't do anything to her. I didn't do anything to your parents." Then she said softly, "At least nothing physical myself."
"What?" Berry asked.
"Now look, Berry. Do you want to help us...or do you want to see your mommy and daddy again?"
"M-my mommy and daddy?" Berry asked shaking with fear.
"Yes, I know how much you miss them ever since they died."
"B-b-but how do you know they died?"
"It was all over the news!" Rosie rationalized. "And even if it wasn't I already knew what happened."
"I don't understand."
"Let's just say...I might have been the one to put a hit on your parents. Or in easier words for you to understand, I might have sent Chaos to kill your parents."
Berry froze in fear and shock. "What? Y-y-y-you wanted my mommy and daddy dead?! How could you!" Berry screamed as he started to cry with tears leaking down his cheeks.
"I'm sorry, Berry." Rosie said calmly. "but sometimes you gotta do awful things every once in a while. That's just life." she shrugged.
"And YOU LIED TO EVERYONE!" Berry shouted while he still cried.
"They don't know that. Everyone loves me, Berry. And they all believe everything I say." Rosie started to walk out the door. "Goodbye for now, Berry." she left and closed the cell door behind her as the 3 year old continued to have his meltdown.
"Hey, Boss this came in the mail for you!" one of the thugs said as he handed Charles an envelope. It read
Charles, you and your gang are to meet me at this address no later than 5:00 PM
- Virus
Underneath is the address. "I wonder what Virus wants with us, Boss?"
"Not sure, but I think it's something great. Come on boys!" he shouted as they each got thier weapons and started to head out.
they got in thier cars and drove off. Charles sat in the front passenger row. On the radio he heard the voice of Rosie Shine reveal her big project.
"And that's right, this is my big project reveal! I'm going to create a new generation of super heroes! With my magic, I can create enchanced humans who will be willing to protect our citizens from the dangers of the human world. I believe in a safer world. A world where no one has to worry about getting mugged, a world where no one has to dread losing someone they love, a world where everyone can feel like at home."
"There you have it, folks! Our respected scientist have revealed her well intentioned plans!" the news reporter said. "In other news, Police are still on the search for the missing children that have mysteriously disapeared. Authorities say that Chaotic Cane, who's WANTED across multiple states is responsible. More will be told once we find out!"
"Chaos..." Charles muttered.
"You know him, Boss?" the driver asked.
"He was one of my most honorable members of this gang!" Charles said loudly. "He became one of my first-class contract killers until he retired. I may not be one to show respect to anyone, but he's a damn exception! Let me tell you, no one did not dare to mess with him and I'll admit he sometimes scared me too."
"Wow," the driver breathed.
"There's also a little saying about him too, since he's built up such a reputation." Charles said. "He's everywhere but you don't see him, but when you do it's already too late."
Once they arrived they pulled thier cars to the side and stepped out. Having thier weapons ready in case of an ambush. Someone stepped outside from the building.
"Oh my god..." Charles said. Could it be? No it can't."
"Charles, my man! Good to see you! You look fantastic since I last saw you!" Chaos grinned. He wore a dark gray blazer jacket with a light gray button down shirt and matching pants and shoes.
"Chaos, you son of a bitch!" Chalres laughed. "And what the hell are you talking about I looks fantastic? Look at you! You look like your the CEO or something!" He turned torwards his gang. "Fellers, this is Chaotic Cane! He used to be in our gang a while back."
"He's right. I had a great time in your gang. I'm currently the Executive Head of BlazeCorps. I oversee all the operation that happens." Chaos said. "But lets not waste anymore time, we don't want to keep Virus waiting any longer do we?"
"Of course not. Lead the way!" Charles said. When they started walking, a girl with red and yellow hair stood near the entrance of the doorway, she looked ready to attack, but Chaos put a stop to it.
"Leave them alone, Sunset. These people are our allies."
Sunset obeyed and let them pass without hurting them.
"The lassie there seems quiet," Charles commented.
"I got her under a spell. She's like a powerful diety that I can control!" Chaos chuckled. "And she probably won't be the only one!"
They continued to walk down the hallways until they saw Virus comin torwards them.
"Ahhh Virus, you said you wanted to see us?" Charles asked.
"Of course, I got some things for you that I think you boys might enjoy," Virus chuckled darkly.
Des, Amber and Bryson decided to split up. Lola went with the latter of course. He held the pistol in his hand. Loaded and ready to fire.
"Freeze!" someone shouted. Bryson looked at two guards rushing torwards him. Acting quickly he shot one guard down but unfortunatley he failed to notice one behind him violently knocking him to the ground. Bryson wasn't going to give up without a good fight however. He banged his fist into the guards face followed by an uppercut. Unfortunatley the guard seemed to be an excellent combatant. He grabbed Bryson by the neck and flipped him over. Making him drop his gun sliding it across the room. Bryson groaned in pain but used his strength to catch the guard by surprise by kicking him in the groin. He yelped and Bryson grabbed him by the head and repteadly rammed his head into the wall. His face bloody now. He snatched the gun from his pocket and shot him in the skull, killing him. Another guard went in to attack but was met with an unfortunate end with a bullet to the neck. More guards came in and Bryson found himself outnumbered. He tried to keep up with all of them but he could only handle so much. They pinned him to the ground overpowering him. They took his gun throwing it across the room out of reach. Bryson gasped in pain as a kick to the ribs knocked the wind out of him. Just need another kick to his back made him wince [a little more time until a strong blow to the head made him black out. Lola had saw the whole thing and started to whimper. She was no attack dog and even if she was she wouldn't have been able to take down the whole squad herself. She ran out of the room.
Meanwhile Amber walking around when she heard a loud crying coming down from one of the hallways. Could it be?! She quickly ran down the hallway but unfortunatley she felt an invisible hand slam her against the wall back first. She gritted her teeth as a sharp pain went through her back.
She saw a girl about her age with falming red and yellow hair. This girl looked like she was growling like a wild untamed animal. She let out a scream of fury as she blasted an energy orb. Barely missing Amber by inches as she rolled over at the last second. Her back hit the ceiling and she winced.
"After all this time..."
Amber hit the ground stomach first. She groaned but the pain was getting too much.
"I never thought..."
Amber went flying slamming against another wall. This time she could have sworn she broke something. She shouted and gritted her teeth.
"You would come back!"
Amber felt her whole body get picked up and dragged to this flaming haired girl. She couldn't move. The other girl held her in place as she loaded up a huge energy blast ready to fire. The former closed her eyes preparing for her death but then
"Woah woah woah! Take it easy there, Sunset! We don't wanna be too rough on her!"
Amber saw someone. Someone who looked horribly familiar. No! It can't be! But the evil grin, the sadistic smile was more than enough proof. "Chaos!" she yelled.
"Pretty neat isn't she?" Chaos asked. "She knows how to do a lot of cool things don't you Sunset?"
Sunset's response was completley empty without emotion. "Yes, Master."
Chaos pointed to Sunset. "This right here is like an all powerful diety and one I can control." His face twisted into a psycopathic smile. "But enough about Sunset. Tell me Amber, how are you after all this time?"
How dare he asks how I was doing after what he's done! "How I'm doing?! You killed my parents and kidnapped my little brother and you fucking ask me how I'm doing?!"
"Relax. It was just a job, sweetheart." Chaos said smoothly. "Getting your baby brother was a prioty but sometimes we have to make things work if you get what I'm saying."
"Where is he?"
"Hmm?"
"Where is Berry?! I know you know where he's at!"
"You want your baby brother so bad? Then fine! You can be locked up with him for all I care! Sunset!"
Sunset grabbed Amber in a telekentic hold and carried her down the hall.
"I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" Amber screamed her voice fading down the hallway.
Adagio breathed in. Taking in the negative energy. After so long it felt so amazing. The Sirens were back in thier human forms. They were in front of the entrance.
"I never felt more alive!" she laughed. "And those Rainbooms are powerless against us! They have no hope!"
"I think we're ready to move on to Equestria!" Aria suggested.
"You girls leaving already?" Chaos asked as he just came out.
"I'm afraid so, Chaos. We're going back to the world we were banished from." Sonata said
"Don't worry. We won't forget about you. We must say you were a huge help in our revenge scheme. We owe you a big one!" Adagio smirked.
"No no you don't me anything. I'm happy that I got to help out!" Chaos said cheerfully. "You girls go have fun in the other world whatever you call it!"
"Cya, Chaos. Maybe we might meet again next time!"
"Cya!" Chaos said. He watched them get in thier car and drove off. He went back inside and saw Charles talking with Virus.
"These children are worth a great fortune. I won't be selling them unless you got a good chunk of cash with you." Virus told Charles. He nodded.
"I think we can make a deal."
One of the thugs bought in a briefcase and opened it. Inside was a pile full of cash. Even Chaos looked a bit surprised.
"Around thirty billion dollars!" Charles pointed out. "And if we get more of those kids that go up higher!"
"This isn't a scam is it?" Virus asked. She put her hand around the briefcase handle.
"Of course not! Think about it! You get the money, and we get the kids. The kids help with getting money, and we get more money!"
"I think this one might be the most expensive! She's older than the others but she's really valuable." She turned to Chaos. "Go get Sunset for me."
"Right away." Chaos responded. He walked away and came back with Sunset following him. She stopped when Chaos stopped walking.
"This right here is perhaps the cream of the crop!" Virus said presenting Sunset like she was some famous project. "Unkillable and unstoppable. Really useful for those who get in your way?"
"Unkillable you say huh?" Charles laughed. "I'm sorry but I highly doubt that!" His other thugs laughed with him as well.
"You sure you don't want to give it a try?" Chaos asked smugging. "You'll be surprised what she's capable of."
"There's no way! But I'll give it a try!" Charles said. He went torwards Sunset, who didn't react by the way, and put the barrel right against the side of her head. He pulled the trigger. A loud sound rang throughout the halls but to everyone's surprise except Chaos and Virus's. Sunset still stood there. She still bled like a normal human and there was a bloody hole on both sides of her head. Then her bullet wound healed up in seconds and it looked like she wasn't even shot in the first place.
Chaos pulled out his gun and unloaded a round of 16 bullets onto Sunset's chest, neck, and face. Creating a bloody mess but after a good 30 seconds there wasn't a single scratch on Sunset.
"What in the fuck?!" Charles gasped.
"Now you believe me?" Chaos grinned.
"My god! I didn't think..."
"And pretty soon there will be more like her!" Virus added. She turned to Charles. "Now...are we ready to make our deal?"
The girls were still torn up about Sunset's demise but they promised themselves that they were going to put an end to this nightmare for good. Fluttershy was on the verge of tears as they walked down the hall. "How are going to explain?" she said softly. Barely audible.
"What was that, sugarcube?" AppleJack asked uncertain.
"How are we going to explain to Princess Twilight why Sunset's no longer with us!" Flutteshy shouted taking everyone by surprise as she wasn't usually one to raise her voice above a normal range let, let alone a shout. Pinkie gasped, AppleJack took off her hat and placed it next to her chest in a respectful manner, Rarity began to sob. Rainbow was the only one who could speak.
"I...don't know, Shy. The only thing we can do now...is avenge her death."
"And the Dazzlings. We lost against them." Fluttershy whispered. Rarity spoke up
"No, Darling. We can't give up y-"
"What's the point?! We're powerless, Sunset's dead, and we have no way of contacting Princess Twilight or anyone in the other world!" Fluttershy started crying. "S-sorry. I didn't mean to yell at you."
"Don't worry about it," Rarity comforted Fluttershy and gave her a soothing hug. "But if there's one thing Sunset would want us not to do is give up."
"Yeah!" Pinkie agreed. "I don't care if it takes a day or ten years but we will put an end to all this and put that big meanie Chaos in his place!"
"But that's easier said than done. Remember he was one of the most lethal hitman!
A loud barking sound was heard sounding down the building.
"Wait is that Spike?!" Rarity asked. Twilight shook her head.
"No...He's at my house. I asked Trixie to watch over him while I'm gone."
The girls saw a light brown labradoodle running torwards them. Fluttershy gasped in shock and worry. She was the only one who seemed to recognize the dog. "Oh my goodness! Lola is that you?!" She petted the dog as she licked her hands.
"Arf! Arf!" Lola began to whimper and even though she couldn't talk to animals no more, Fluttershy could tell something was wrong.
"Wait you know this dog?" Rainbow asked. Fluttershy nodded.
"This is Lola. She was one of my occupants in my animal shelter before I have her away to a new owner." She then realized something. "Wait! I think her owner must be here! I think he's somewhere here!"
Lola barked frantically spinning in circles.
"You girls, I think she's trying to lead us to him!"
The girls followed Lola as the dog led them to her owner who was trapped.
When the girls reached thier location they were shocked to see someone locked up. He tried to kick down the cell door but it was made of steel and bolted shut. Rarity put her hand over her mouth.
"Oh my..."
Bryson had stopped and looked at the group of girls. At first he assumed they were unfriendly but seeing the geniune worry on thier faces made him think twice. He recognized the girl with pale yellow skin and light pink hair. "Fluttershy?"
Lola whined while looking at her owner. Fluttershy gasped. "Oh my god...Mr. Moore!" she rushed to him and tried to pry open the door, but without a key it was hopeless. Lola continued to whine.
"Wait, Flutters. You know this guy?" AppleJack asked. Fluttershy nodded.
"This is the one I gave Lola to."
Rainbow noticed an unpleasant odor. "Jesus when was the last time you showered?" she asked the man
"Rainbow!" Applejack scolded. "Sorry about that, Mister."
"It's alright. The last time I did shower...was when I had a home." Bryson said sadly. Rarity recognized him from the park. The other girls gasped at his living conditions.
"Oh my goodness. I remember seeing you from the park!" He nodded. She had no idea he had no home. "What are you...doing here?"
"I wanted to put an end to this nightmare for good, and expose Rosie for the fraud she truly is." He sighed. "But it looks like I hoped for too much."
"Rosie..."AppleJack breathed. "I just can't believe it..." but the more she thought about it, the more it made since. Rosie was a scientist that focused on magic so it would make sense for her to kidnap all these children to conduct expirements on them.
Bryson looked at the girls. "In the basement there's a reactor core in the center. Get all the kids and those captured out before setting it off."
"How do you know this?" Pinkie asked.
"I was one of the first to work here, until things got...bad."
"Don't worry about me, it's not like I would find a job anyways. My life...was fun while it lasted."
"No! Don't think like that. We're going to help you turn your life around whether you want to or not!" Rarity announced. He saw Lola whimpering looking at him. He knelt down and gently spoke.
"Lola, I need you to go with these girls okay? I can't take care of you no more." Lola whined and yelped. Refusing to leave her owner. Bryson felt himself begin to sob. "I'm sorry. But I just can't. You deserve better." He reached out through the cell door and petted Lola on the head. She whined and continued to yelp. "Lola. Listen to me. You have to go with them...please!"
The other girls felt terrible. Fluttershy put her hand over her heart with a warm gasp. She tried calling Lola over but the labradoodle just sat next to the cell door.
"Come on, Flutters. We haven't got time to waste." Rainbow said solemnly.
"Thank you..." The girls said to Bryson. They left without another word.
"What could you possible mean?!" Adagio asked while driving.
"I mean we got our powers back, yay, but how are we supposed to find our way back into Equestria?!"
Aria groaned. "As much as I don't like to agree with her, she's right." Aria told Adagio. "We were banished to this world!"
"Oh my fucking god!" Adagio angrily muttered. "Chaos probably knows. We're turning back!" She said as she made a U-turn. Driving back to the BlazeCorps.
"Do we even know if he knows?!" Aria said.
"Why wouldn't he?! He made these!"
"No he didn't. He said it was someone with a gift for inventions."
"Well I don't know who the hell it could be then!" Adagio groaned. "We'll just have to ask him." -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Stay back!" Des shouted at the guards his hands raised. "Don't come any closer!" They took a step forward and his hands began to catch fire but he himself wasn't burning. "I'm warning you! Back away! Unless you want to get burned to a crisp!" One guard fired but missed. He was about to fire again but he met his brutal end engulfed in flames. He let out a bloodcurdling scream as he writhered on the floor. Unfortunatley, Des found himself starting to get overpowered but he still pushed through. Killing off one by one. Just when it looked like he was about to win, what seemed like an giant invisible hand grabbed hold of his leg and slammed him up the celing and down. He groaned. He saw a flame haired teen girl advanced torwards him with a angry expression. Without thinking he projected the largest beam of flame directly at his target, but after he was done he was shocked to find she wasn't even burned in the slightest. "What in the-" He was cut off when Sunset came up to him with inhumane speed and lifted him up by the collar. He tried to resist but she was too strong. She easily had him handcuffed and carried him. "Help!" He screamed. "Someone! Anyone!" He cried.
"Did you hear that?!" Rainbow asked. The girls nodded. "I don't think it's Berry, but it might be someone who needs help!"
"I think it came from over there!" AppleJack pointed. They raced to where the sound was coming from. They pushed opened the doors and what they saw made them gasp in relief and horror. Relief because now they see that Sunset is still alive! Horror because she's still alive but now it seems she's against them."
"Sunset!" Pinkie gasped quickly forgetting the girl was under a spell. She ran to her for a hug but she forgot that this wasn't really Sunset.
"Pinkie!" Rainbow screamed as the party girl barely missed the lazer beam by inches.
"Careful, Pinkie Pie. She's not very gentle, If I should say so myself." Chaos sneered. "Hold on, Sunset." Sunset stopped what she was doing and stood still.
"How do you know my name?" Pinkie asked. It suddenly dawned on the rest of girls as to why he knew their names.
Chaos shrugged and gestured torwards the masked female. "This is Virus. I think you girls have met before."
AppleJack gasped. Virus took off her mask to reveal herself. "You...." Rainbow got in a fighting ready stance, Fluttershy wanted to scream, and Rarity's mind was racing through thoughts.
"Hello, AppleJack and to you girls as well." Rosie chuckled. "I know we already met buuuuuut I never got a chance to actually introduce myself. I'm Rosie Shine. Founder and owner of Blaze Corps."
"I should'a known you were no good!" AJ shouted. "You heartless cunt!"
"I'd show more respect if I were you, cowgirl. You're looking at the one who can wipe out your entire family," Chaos threatened.
"Like I respect you!" Rainbow spat at Rosie.
"Yeah! You're a big meanie who killed so many innocents!"
"Okay and?" Rosie said irritated. "That's just the way it is."
"Those are lives you are taking!" Rarity scolded.
"Let me explain. We all know what magic is right? You have it. I have it. It's basically power. It's simple. The more magic you have the more powerful you are. But. I'm not looking for power. No no no no. I'm only looking for the thing that people are willing to give for power. Money." Rosie simpered. "You think I got rich by selling my inventions? No! I got rich by selling off these super kids! There are groups, even countries who are willing to pay me a great fortune for these special kids!" She gestured torwards Charles. "Like him and his gang for example. They're one of my top clients."
"So you're just a sick, twisted monster who does child trafficking?" Rarity asked disgusted. Rosie shrugged.
"Come on, girls! We gotta find the reactor!" Twilight said. Rosie laughed.
"The reactor? I bet that hobo told you all about it! Don't tell me you actually listened to him! A worthless living piece of shit like him isn't worth listening to," Rosie said cruelly.
"You know once we defeat you we-we" Pinkie stuttered
"You'll what huh?! What are you going to do?! Tell everyone! Pfft! They will never listen to you. Like they'd ever listen to some randoms! I have everyone wrapped around my finger. Even if you defeat me, my legacy will still live on!"
"Not if we have anythign to say about it!" Rainbow blurted out. Rosie sighed and laced her fingers through her hair.
"I'm sorry. But unfortunatley for you...you are not going home unless...you want something to happen to your precious toddler!"
"Berry!" Rarity cried. "What did you do to him?!"
"He's fine..." Rosie waved her off. "But he won't be if you make me mad! But you won't be seeing him! You girls are too much of a risk to keep alive. Now it's your time. Your journey ends here!"
"Sunset," Chaos said suddenly. Sunset looked up in attention. "It's showtime!" He, Rosie, and Charles as well as his gang teleported away while Sunset looked at the girls with the utmost fury expression.
"Looks like we have to fight her..." AJ said sadly.
Sunset approached dangerously torwards the girls. AppleJack was the first to find her courage. She took a step forward.
"Sunset...It's me."
A scream of rage came from Sunset as she charged torwards the cowgirl. A bullet struck the flame haired girl in the skull and she fell down.
"RAINBOW!" AppleJack said in disbelief.
"We have no choice! We don't have powers and we have to stop her!" Rainbow unloaded two more shots onto Sunset's chest and although they didn't kill her, they were able to slow her down. She was about to go for another shot when the gun clicked showing it was out of ammo. Sunset got back up, her shirt bloody and quickly went torwards Rainbow and snatched the gun out of her hand, breaking it in two. The athlete gulped then Sunset picked her up by the front of her shirt and violently tossing her to the side. She crashed into the wall and her vision spun.
"Rainbow!" Twilight gasped. The girls saw the hallway was open and they all knew what they had to do. Run.
They raced down torwads the hallways with Sunset chasing after them.
"We have to find a way to get our powers back!" Pinkie said.
Fortunatley, or unfortunaltey for them, the answers came crashing into them. The girls were so focused on running that they didn't see the Sirens intercept them.
"YOU!" said Rainbow angrily. She attacked without a second hesitation. Punching Adagio in the jaw and delivering blows and kicks.
Adagio and her Sirens fought back and a violent fight ensured. Aria gave Pinkie an uppercut up her jaw which the latter responded with a headbutt. The former shouted and let go which gave Rainbow the oppurtunity to come from behind and flip her over landing hard on her back. Rarity noticed something on the Dazzling's chest. Three ruby gemstones that looked an awful like the ones they had before they were shattered.
"WE HAVE TO GET RID OF THEM!" She announced. She tried to take them away but Adagio wasn't making it easy. She attacked Rarity and to make matters worse, Sunset had already caught up to them. She struck Rarity with a ligthtning flash which caused the room to explode and send her flying across the room. The girls gasped in horror as the Dazzlings laughed cruelly. Rarity was now inches away from Sunset's snarling expression but that only lasted for a few seconds. Sunset was then grabbed by someone as she was tossed to the side. Bryson had been freed.
"YOU GOT OUT!" the girls all gasped. Bryson smiled.
"I had a bit of help." he pointed torwards an 8 year old. Des had freed him. He had escaped from the clutches of Sunset. He wasn't the only one. There was also a teenaged girl and in her arms was Berry who was crying.
"Berry!" the girls gasped.
"You girls hold him!" she shouted giving Berry to Fluttershy. She recognized her from the DvD tape.
"Wait! You're that girl from the video!"
"I am! now hold on to him!" Amber instructed. She disapeared into thin air leaving the girls confused.
"Hey, where did she?-"
"Hey!" Adagio shouted as she felt her pendant get snatched. Before her very eyes, it was thrown into the floor and shattered. "NOOOO!" she shrieked. The other two sirens also got thier pendants shattered a second time. Because of that, the heroe's magic were returning to them.
"YES! WE HAVE OUR POWERS BACK!" Rainbow shouted triumphantly. The Dazzlings were furious.
"You'll pay for this!" Adagio screamed punching AJ in the cheek and was about to go for another when the cowgirl grabbed her ankle and sent into flying into her fellow sirens. They all groaned. The girls, Bryson, Amber, and Des all stared at Sunset Shimmer.
"We'll deal with her! You go find the reactor!" Amber shouted towards Bryson as she tossed him a pistol. He nodded and headed out. A few enemy guards blocked his away. He aimed and fired at them. He managed to kill two of them but one of them kneed him from behind and slammed him against the wall. He gave his attacker from behind a back headbutt causing him to be let go. He swung around and punched the man in the face.
"Freeze!" They shouted at him. All aiming torwards him. The reactor core was just down this hallway. He just needed a way to get past all these guards. Then he looked up at the light chandelier. He had an idea. He shot straight up shooting down the giant chandelier. It came crashing down much to the horror of the guards who met thier unfortunate end. Bryson saw this as an oppurtunity to get away. He raced torwards the end of the hallway and opened the door that led to the underground. The reactor was a machine that generated the magic that gave these kids thier powers. It's what powered the entire building. As Bryson approached the bottom of the stairs, He turned on the light to reveal a large almost empty room with the exception of the giant reactor in the center. A huge machine that had a brilliant white giant ball of orb that was glowing fiercly. It was the same as before when he first saw it all those years ago. Then he noticed something that was new. The reactor was surrounded by a fence made of steel and there was a hand print recognition on it. Even though he knew it wasn't going to work, he still tried it anyways. He put his palm on the scanner and a robotic male voice came through.
"Access Denied" Bryson cussed but at the same time he should have known it wasn't going to work. He looked all around the but there were no other way in. It's not even possible to climb based on how tall the fencing was. He took out a pistol and began to shoot at the fence but it's no use. Who could it be? Who could possible have access to this reactor? His thoughts were interrupted by a loud bark that made him drop his gun. He whipped around and Lola was happily panting.
"Lola! You can't be here!" He said. But he was a little glad she decided to follow him. He reached down and petted her on the head. "Shhh...We can't be heard or seen alright girl?" His attention turned back to the reactor. He knew there was nothing he could do about it now.
"SHE'S TOO STRONG!" Rarity gasped as she struggled to hold on. The barrier broke and Sunset screamed and charged torwards them. AppleJack saw this as her chance. With fast reaction time, she grabbed the redhead by the ankle and tossed her to the wall with a force so strong it broke. Rainbow sped up torwards Sunset and was in her face.
"LET MY FRIEND GO YOU IMPOSTER!" She shrieked and gave her an uppercut followed by multiple punches to her face. She grabbed her arm and flipped Sunset over her shoulder and grabbed her by the same arm again and carried her to the sky. Then she did a fast descent with Sunset hitting the ground hard. Twilight then looked up and saw Chaos laughing at them while he was holding something shiny and black.
"Look! I think he's controlling Sunset!" She said loudly. The other girls noticed too. Amber also noticed that Sunset wasn't going after her. Only the 6 girls.
"You girls keep her distracted! I'll deal with Chaos!"
She ran off and the girl's didn't have time to respawn because a huge ball of deadly energy struck Rainbow. She flew back and hit her back against the wall. She groaned.
"RAINBOW!" The girls screamed but they were picked up by the invisible hand hand and violently tossed aside. Sunset began to glow a red aura around her and huge pieces of machines painting, and furniture began to levitate. She started to hurl them at the girls. One of the large paintings striking AppleJack on the side. It knocked her out giving Sunset an oppurtunity for the kill. She had her fist raised ready to give her a beating of death when a gunshot struck her on her back. She turned around to see Fluttershy with a pistol. Tears were flowing down her cheeks.
"Please..." her breath was shaky with fresh tears rolling down her cheeks. Time seemed to stop as Sunset growled like a wild animal as she approached dangerously closer and closer to her. "Don't make me do this!" The red head snarled even aggresively slowly advancing torwards her like a predator about to attack it's prey.
"Fluttershy what are you waiting for?! Pull the trigger?!" Rainbow shrieked. Fluttershy didn't listen as she still held the pistol.
"But she's our friend?!" Fluttershy whimpered.
"That's not Sunset, Fluttershy!" AJ shouted. With another desperate attempt she turned torwards Sunset. "I don't know who she is anymore! But this isn't her!" Sunset screamed and charged torwards Fluttershy. She squeaked and pulled the trigger, the bullets going through Sunset's breast and out the other end. This only stopped her for a moment as she still advanced forward.
"For fuck sake, Fluttershy! Give it here!" Rainbow had enough and snatched the gun from the timid girl's hand and opened fire on Sunset. Hitting just about every spot on her front side but even this was not enough to even slow her down. The bullet wound healed almost instantly and Rainbow had ran out of ammo.
It didn't work. Sunset ignored them as she knocked the girls out of her way and went torwards Berry who was crying behind the corner. He screamed in terror and bawled out loud as she grabbed hold of him.
"BERRY!" The girls screamed in horror. But unlike before, it didn't look like Sunset was harming him. She instead ran off with inhuman speed.
"She's taking Berry! We better stop her!" Rarity said. Together the girls raced down the hall intending to save him.
"Mr. Moore. How great it is to see you!" Rosie said cheerfully. She descended down the flight of stairs.
"Quit acting so innocent!" Bryson snapped. Rosie only chuckled.
"You know I'm actually impressed you were able to get inside. Tells me you're more capable than I thought."
"You know once I expose everyone how fake you are you'll be definitely sorry!"
Rosie made a fake scared face. "OH NO! The jobless hobo is going to expose me! Oh God please help! Yeah fucking right!" She snarled.
Bryson suddenly pointed the gun at Rosie's face. "You fucking whore! I should have killed you when I had the chance!"
"Go ahead! Shoot me! It'll only look bad on you. They'll just believe you murdered me in cold blood and you'll be homeless for the rest of your life." She then smiled and extended her hand. "But you don't have to be homeless. Look I know I ruined you're life but let me make it up to you! You can lead a happy life! You and your dog! No more sleeping on the streets! No more begging for money! I see now what you're capable of! We can make a great team! I know it! Trust me...I can help you."
"Fuck no!" He yelled. His hands were shaking with rage as he still held the gun pointed at her. "I made the same mistake trusting you before. I'm not going to make it again!" Rosie sighed and
"Well that's too bad. Because I thought you would be smarter."
"You killed an innocent girls family..." Bryson said his voice shallow. The scientist only waved him off.
"So what? Not like they were special. She struck an energy blast that sent the man crashing to a wall. He groaned but Rosie held him in a telekentic hold. She suddenly floated up to him and smiled. "Pretty impressive right? Now I would love to stay here and chat all day buuuuuuut. She looked up and grinned. "I got a bussiness to run. I'm sorry Mr. Moore." She violently tossed Bryson across the room and went upstairs. Locking the door behind her. However what she didn't notice was Des hiding.
The girls were finally able to find where Sunset had run off too. They had opened the door to the roof and the first thing they saw was Chaos holding the black control stone. Twilight used her magic to attack him. This caught his attention and he fired his gun at Twilight but Rarity conjured a diamond shield to protect her friend. "You just never give up do you?" He muttered.
"Nope!" Pinkie chirped. "Not until we win!" Twilight flung Chaos with her magic making him land on his stomach. He dropped the gem and Sunset immediatley collapsed. He gritted his teeth and realized the control gem was a pretty far distant from him. Unfortunatley for him, AppleJack had the same intention of getting that stone. Chaos immediatley lunged for the magic artifact and so did the farmer. Sure enough a fight ensured between them. Chaos punched her in the stomach followed with two blows on the head. AJ fought back with similar attacks. Meanwhile Sunset was still unconcious as Pinkie tried to get her to wake up.
"Come on, Sunny! Wake up! Wake up!" She said frantically shaking Sunset. But the fire head wouldn't wake up for a while.
AJ grabbed her lasso and tied it around Chaos's neck. She flipped him over on his back using her mighty strength. He winced in pain and felt the rope tightened around his neck. His hands went to the rope around his neck trying to pry out of the grip that was choking him to death. AJ did not dare to loosen her grip. Chaos felt his breath getting shorter and shorter. His face was turning blue and he was about to meet his end. That is until the rope around his neck loosesned and he took it off. Charles had forcibly attacked AppleJack.
Rainbow immediatley went after Charles. Completley bent on giving him one hell of a beating. She sped forward running into him. It knocked the wind out of the gang leader as he flew back. He tried to shoot but Rainbow was too fast for bullets. Then the gun came flying out of his hand and he felt himself getting lifted from the air and slammed back down. Chaos immediatley went for the control stone again. Thinking this time, nothing could stop him. He was wrong however as when he tried to run torwards it, a giant diamond shield struck him which sent him spawling to the ground. Meanwhile Charles was having trouble trying to hit Rainbow even with his fellow gang targetting her. She was simply too fast for any of them. Rarity could not keep her focus on just Chaos however as there was still Charles and the rest of his gang to deal with. Chaos finally was able to grab a hold of the gemstone. He laughed triumphantly and was about to order Sunset to kill the girls until Pinkie suddenly appeared from nowhere and tried to snatch it away from him.
"Give that to me!" She shouted trying to take the gemstone from him but the Director of BlazeCorps wasn't willing to part with it. After a brief struggle between who would get it Pinkie managed to sieze it from him. "HA! I win you big mea-"
"HELP!" Shouted a scared voice. All the girls had thier attention caught by Berry. Rosie was dangling him over the ledge.
"Berry!" All the girls shouted. Chaos's guards as well as Charles' thugs had thier guns pointed torwads them.
"Nobody even think about pulling anything!" Rosie said angrily. "Give me the stone!" She was still dangling the poor child over the ledge. Rainbow had her gun pointed at Rosie but gasped seeing what she was threatening to do. "You shoot me, I let go!"
"You can't do that!" Fluttershy said desperatley. "He's only three!"
"Give me the stone then! Or I'll drop him!" Ro⁹sie said. Berry began to cry and looked down. He could see he was incredibly high up in the air.
"See? That wasn't so hard was it?" Rarity approached Rosie trying to take Berry back.
"Ah ah ah the stone first." Rarity hesitated for a moment but Rosie insisted by starting to loosen her grip. The fashion girl gave in and handed the stone to her. Rosie suddenly smirked. "Whoops!" She said loudly as she let go of Berry. "My hand slipped."
"BERRY NO!" Rarity shrieked. AppleJack immediatley tackled Rosie and pinned her to the ground. Her face was red with rage.
"YOU PIECE OF VARMINT SHIT!" She screamed punching her in the face. Rosie held her arms up to block the punches but AppleJack was relentless as she gave the evil scientist a senseless beating.
Berry screamed as he was falling to his death. The sight of the ground coming ever so closer to him. Ready to claim his life. As he was falling, he could see memories of his parents and big sister all in happy memories.
"You'll always be my little sunshine," he remembered his mother saying to him. She was tucking him into his crib. His father stood next to her.
"And I know you'll always be my champ," he said gently. Berry started to cry and his mother held him in an warm embrace.
"Shh don't cry, baby. Everything's going to be alright."
Berry whimpered burying his face in her hair.
The memories stopped and Berry was still falling to his death. He closed his eyes and waited for his gruesome end until a flash of Rainbow appeared and quickly lifted him up. Rainbow Dash had saved him!
"You saved me!" He cried. Rainbow held him close to her chest as she flew up. She smiled at him.
"Yeah, little buddy. I wasn't going to let an awesome kid like you go away." She safely held Berry in her arms as she flew back up to the rooftop.
"Look! Rainbow has Berry!" Pinkie pointed out. "He's alive!"
The girls were all greatly relieved. Rosie was shocked clearly not expecting the toddler to survive. Rainbow handed Berry to Fluttershy who took him in her arms.
"Oh my goodness you poor sweetheart." She cooed as Berry sobbed. "It's okay, sweetie. You're safe now."
Rosie had an angry look on her face. "You forgot one thing. I still have Sunset!" Chaos suddenly pointed a gun torwards her which made her confused. 'What are you doing?! It's me!" She shouted. But then she saw Sunset with the control stone She was protected by Rarity's diamond shield so anyone, especially Ace wouldn't try to take it. In Sunset's right hand held the stone. It did not take long for Rosie to figure out what was going on.
"Pinkie told me that this stone was used to control me. Now that I'm in control you're going to do what I say or else." She motioned to Chaos who loaded his gun. Rosie gulped. This was not going to be good.
Des had finally managed to obtain a keycard from one of the guards. Wasting no time, he went to all the cells and opened the first door he saw. There was a three year old girl curled up in a ball. She had probably heard Des coming torwards her cell and was crying in fear. As soon as Des tried to approach her, she gave a yelp of terror and disapeared. She reappeared at the corner of the room. She was still shaking and crying, her breath uneven with shuddering stops. The look of fear and hurt in her eyes made Des's heart break. He then noticed something very disturbing. There were a plethora of bruises on her body but the worst was a long and deep gash on her leg. Seeing this horrific sight bought tears to Des's eyes. How could anyone do something so cruel to an innocent child? When he got closer the little girl began to cry.
"D-d-don't hurt me please!" She whimpered. Des felt his heart break in two as he tried to get the little girl to come to him.
"I promise, I'm not going to hurt you," he cooed gently. The little girl heard and got up but the gash on the leg was too painful and she let out a yelp before falling back down. Des quickly went over to her and hugged her while she pressed her head against his stomach and wrapped her arms around his waist. Des rubbed her back and began to hush her softly. "Shhhh it's ok, I'm here." The little girl looked at Des with tear-filled eyes. He looked down and smiled at her. "What's your name?"
"Saphire," the girl said nervously. "I want my mommy and d-d-d-d-daddy!"
Des picked her up in his arms. He was a little surprised how light she was. But this was just a disturbing reminder that she didn't get to eat. Hell none of them did. He took her to a larger room that had no cameras in it. It was an empty room "You are to stay here and not go anywhere. I'm going to bring the others here so we could all go home together. He turned to leave but Saphire grabbed his leg and started to cry. It was clear she didn't want him to leave. Des frowned and spoke softly to her. "I promise I won't leave you. I have to save the others but I'll be back okay?" He made a ring of fire around the outside of the door to prevent anyone from coming in or out. "And don't approach the fire, it's going to hurt you, understand?"
Saphire nodded and let go. Des quickly left the room and locked the room. A noise of a door banging could be heard down the hall. He ran towards it and opened the door. Out stepped Bryson and Lola who barked excitedly.
"Quiet down, girl." Bryson said petting Lola on the head. "Thanks, kid. Now we have to find Rosie. She's the only one who can turn off the reactor."
Des nodded in agreement. "Let's go then."
*Meanwhile*
"Where are we going?" Aria asked.
"We're getting the hell out of here that's where we're going!" Adagio snapped.
"But we don't know where to go!" Sonata pointed out. "I thought we were gonna ask Chaos?"
"We'll figure it out ourselves!" Adagio took in a deep breath. "Now come on before we get killed!" The sirens made their way out of the building and got into their car. As they drove they were disappointed that they never got to get their revenge on those girls. It would have to be another day.
Back at the BlazeCorps, Ace saw everything on surveillance. He pressed the intercom button and announced to the entire building: "Nobody leave this building! Lock all doors and possible exits immediately!" The sounds of sirens wailed throughout the building and all of the doors locked. Bryson and Des were running down the halls followed by Lola as a few guards got in their way.
"On the ground!" They shouted but were met with a brutal end of flames as Des attacked them. They screamed as they began to burn to death. There flesh melting which almost made Bryson feel a little sick but he did not have time to think about it because they had to keep going. Once they made it up to the top they tried open the door but it had been locked. Bryson decided to shoot the door but the fact it was made of metal didn't help matters at all.
"They're coming!" Des shouted as he saw a few guards start to climb up the stairs. Bryson was hesitant on shooting because he didn't have much ammo left but there was no other choice. He fired one shot hitting a guard in the head followed by another shot to the second guard. He and Des continued to bang on the door trying to break it open but it was useless.
Meanwhile, Chaos had Rosie held at gunpoint as Sunset threatened, "you make any funny moves and there will be a bullet to the head!" However all guns were pointed at Sunset as Charles laughed.
"Ha! You shoot our leader and you'll meet the same fate as well!"
"You wouldn't kill me, Sunset. You need me," Rosie chuckled. I'm the only one who can deactivate the reactor."
As much as Sunset didn't want to admit, it was true. An intense brief moment of silence passed by as Sunset took a deep breath. "Now you are going to do exactly what I say. Chaos, if I get shot, shoot the bitch." she ordered. He nodded as he had his gun still pointed. "Now you are to go down to the bottom floor and deactivate the reactor," Sunset said in a low voice.
"And what if I don't? You won't kill me, right?"
"Not really. But I'll make you wish I did." Charles's thugs looked ready to open fire but didn't want to take the risk of having Rosie shot. The scientist began to make her way towards the reactor.
