Something stranger than 'normal' is going on in the Everfree Forest. With Twilight Sparkle and her friends away in Canterlot, the owner of "Mystic Shield's Self-Defense Academy For Unicorns", aptly named Mystic Shield, sends out four of his top students to investigate. That turned out to be a grave mistake and now they're at the hospital. While heading there to visit them, he stumbles into and makes acquaintances with three unicorns not in his class.

One is a naïve delivery pony from a florist shop in his hometown Baltimare.
One is a dainty seamstress with great overall dexterity.
And one is an adopted nurse's daughter with a tragic past.

After learning that the strangeness was reminiscent of Discord's magic, and that it was bound to reach Ponyville if it isn't stopped, they four decide to take matters into their own hooves.

Formed from this in-progress forum roleplay, and so the story's plot is not entirely made by me.

NOTE: While it features a character from my story, the other three are just as much main characters as he is.

EDIT: Now that it's cancelled, I think I can safely make this story canon to SC:FiM, taken place between Seasons 2 and 3.

The Spirits of Harmony (that is, Twilight Sparkle and her friends) are sent on a diplomatic mission to a new world that was discovered after one of its inhabitants was found scouting Equestria. They are to take a tour of the new world, which is inhabited by a diverse series of creatures called Neopets, and learn all about them.

This is probably the first ever Neopets/MLP crossover fic EVER made.

This story ties in with Shisno Chronicles: Friendship is Magic.

For a week now, Chronicle and the rest of the Keepers of the Elements of Harmony have been suffering nightmares for a week without explanation. There is an evil force tormenting his friends and for once he can do nothing to stop them. And then things get worse, when Rarity gets kidnapped by the evil force, Twilight Sparkle immediately sends word to Princess Celestia, who arrives shortly with Princess Luna.

From what Luna tells them, Rarity's abductor was the same force that had converted her to Nightmare Moon. When she was defeated by the Elements of Harmony, the evil force—the Nightmare Forces—retreated to the Nightmare Dreamscape on the moon and lay in wait…until now.

Can Chronicle, the rest of his friends, and Luna stop them before it's too late?

[Author's Note: Since this apparently takes place within Season 3, this story's hiatus will be much longer than I thought, given that Trixie, Babs Seed, and Lightning Dust appear.]

For reasons unexplained, the keepers of the Elements of Harmony, Spike, their (OC) friend Chronicle, and Derpy Hooves are transported into the Team Fortress 2 universe. Before they could be found by either RED or BLU, somebody, a human named Tasic, came over and led them to safety, but not before they realized he and Chronicle have a connection and the latter's secret is revealed; both of them are members of the Story Crew. It's not know why the Equestrians were brought here, but Tasic intends to take them to the fight so they could survive…and possibly stop the fight between RED and BLU.

The characters' designated classes will be based on this picture, but with Chronicle replacing Celestia (seriously, she's overpowered).

And technically, all categories that would apply to Team Fortress 2 would apply here too, but I decided not to go too far by adding Comedy, Dark, Adventure, etc.

Rated Teen for Team Fortress 2's bloody nature. This story is "non-canon" to my main story accessible by the link in my OC character's name in this description.

Basically, it's a retelling of the popular "Friendship is Magic" TV series with an OC (Original Character) added. No, my OC will not be a self-insert or Mary Sue in any way, shape, or form ( at least I try to). This is my first fanfic I have published outside FanFiction.Net, so please bear with me. A member of the Story Crew is sent down to do his "mission" (what it is I shall not say). His organization has arranged things so that he is now a bodyguard-for-hire (who also takes odd jobs for extra money). Eventually, he ends up signing a contract from the ruler of Equestria herself, Princess Celestia. This contract has him tasked on (primarily) protecting one very important unicorn pony; the Princess's personal student, Twilight Sparkle. And that is where the story begins...
