After a quick calculation of ballistic trajectories, Pinkie set the cannon off.

Meaning she whipped the cannon around and fired with her eyes closed, relying on the twitch of her forehooves to properly aim the cannon for her.

I wasn't sure at first, but I couldn't stop, and that ending was just too awesome. Well played my good sir, well played indeed.

It was. Very well written, no sentence is in the wrong spot, and I've finally figured out where all the old weapons from WWI/WWII disappeared to when they weren't recovered.

If they got new weapons then it means that the Elements are useless. Other than creating weapons to begin with.

Great story

But I got to point out some inaccuracies. The M249 machine gun even firing at a  Cyclic rate and Dual wielding would only have a firing rate of 1550 rounds per minute. While a M134 mini gun has a rate of fire that's 3000 rounds per minute. So Nightmare moon was taking about the rate of fire that she was putting out without landing any hits.

But still a great story.

this was just jaw dropping I absolutely love how you gave Rarity a scoped ma duece, when you said in the previous chapter that it was a .50 BMG I immediately thought "wait that's a maching gun not a sniper rifle" then in this chapter you confirmed it but with a scope and I then thought of that one sniper who used a set up like that i think his name was either hatchcock or hathcock. but the jaw dropping part was when fluttershy killed Luna or at least tried I dont know if she can die. but the part where she looked up at the guns pointed at her seemed like a huge cliffhanger. is there going to be more? or at least a sequal? I want to know how she will feel about killing somepony that was technically a non combatant who was possesed by an evil entity.

I was honestly hoping Pinkie would pick a good, ass kicking, reliable gun like the S&W .500, not the bloody overrated P.O.S. Deagle.

Sorry, because I like this idea, I really do, and your a good writer, I just saw SO many things to gripe about I couldn't keep quiet (though I probably should've put it in the latest chapter).

First, spelling mistakes:  "Shooing" When talking about Rarity's talent, among a few others, but they're trivial.

My ONLY other gripe, after that, is something that doesn't matter but it's niggling at me.  Their weapons.

Element of harmony fire-arms that run out of ammo?  Reloading's fine I suppose but surely the elements themselves would provide more magazines, but even then reloading for them is a little, mundane, and if that bothers you, ya coulda given them weapons that covers the reloading.

Applejack's scattergun, that's fine, family's from Appleoosa, it fits.  However Twighlight's six shooters, (six shots AND six guns)  they fit the cutie mark she has, six guns, six shots, six star points, but they are just about the clumsiest things imaginable, I can see why ya chose them, they fit, but why not swap them for M1911s for sticking to American weapons, that'd be six guns with twelve shots each, still devisable by six. That's just me though.

Rainbow Dash's Scorpion, would it not have fit better for someone like RD to have two of these, strapped to her hooves maybe, since she doesn't seem to care about accuracy, just suppression, it fits, both light, and doesn't impede her speed like an LMG (e.g a Squad Automatic Weapon or SAW) would.

I'm haveing trouble thinking of somethign neater than a Springfield, though maybe a rifle from later, like a Bravo-51, still bolt action though, a Barret would be a bit too big, and makes a mess.

Pinkie's wepons are perfect, well done on picking

Fluttershy could do with a rethink, but I'm short on time.
