They thought she was wrong, they thought she was being over protective of her brother.
They were wrong.
The wedding was saved but Twilight Sparkle went missing ever since her friends, bother and mentor abandoned her in that room. 3 years has passed but still no sign of Twilight. Suddently some kind of super advanced robots attack ponyville claming that they work for an evil organization called "Treble" who's only objecttive is to destroy Equestria.
With the new element of magic, Trixie Lulamoon, our heroes will defend their home no matter what. But Princess Cadence is convinced that Treble is connected to Twilight's dissapearence and she will look for answers to her werabouts.

Excellent a story where Twilight leaves because of what happen at the wedding. Not only that if Twilight is behind Treble than it's also a evil Twilight story don't see very many of those. Can't wait to see what will happen next.

Nice Chapter. I really hope that the hologram of Twilight in a cell was just a diversion and that Twilight is, in truth, the leader of Treble. That would be interesting to have Twilight believe that things like friendship and harmony are a lie and she turns evil and her former friends and family now have to face her and try to bring her back to the good side.

after I watched Part 1 of the season 2 finale, I'm starting to doubt that the "magic of friendship" even exists
They saw what happened and they had to be petty and walk away all in the name of keeping up impressions! they walked away so they could impress a pony they had met only a day ago, a pony that had treated all of them like crap! all of that time of laughter and tears and friendship thrown away so they could wear a frilly dress! Nice to know how much Twilight was worth to them
Real friends stay loyal, even when their friends act stupid. A real friend would have sat with Twilight and told her that it was ok and helped her make up for her mistake. A real friend would have realized that taking one moment to comfort somebody they care about wouldn’t hurt their chances to put on a dream wedding. A real friend would have given her a few minutes and all they did was walk out on her.
also sometimes I wonder if the Elements screwed up, like Rainbow Dash, she's never really been loyal, has she? She insults her friends; mocks them and tease them till they hurt. Remember what she did to Spike?, making fun of him about not being a real dragon till he decided to run away? How LOYAL of her! She knew Fluttershy didn’t want to help with that cyclone and she guilted her into it… not because she knew she needed to face her fear but because she wanted to break a record. she's mocked Twilight so many times, calling her a nerd and an egghead and then come crawling back asking for her help with her problems, expecting Twilight to drop everything and save her flank. Like Twilight said in Faith and Doubt:
"You are very loyal, Rainbow Dash… loyal to yourself"
I declare Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity and Applejack to be a disgrace to their elements

YOUR FRIENDS TURN THEIR BACK ON YOU, YOUR FAMILY TURNS THEIR BACK ON YOU, EVEN YOUR MENTOR TURNS HER BACK ON YOU, AND AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF FIGHTING, YOU FORGIVE THEM?!" Its one of the reasons i like reading this story. Wondering what would have happened if Twilight just up and left. The pain in this story over what her friends went through makes me wish i was in the story so that when Twilight fucks with them I would ask "HOW DOES FEEL HAVING YOUR FRIEND TURN THEIR BACK ON YOU NOW, HUH?!" But that is something different. My point is i agree with you one hundred and ten percent.
