It's one thing to come back to Equestria after a long time. It's another thing entirely when your brother's been turned to stone.
That's what Scorpan will go through, returning to Equestria one month after Twilight's coronation. He heard the stories of what happened to Tirek, and he has to find out for himself if they're true. When he sees it with his own eyes, he has no choice but to ask himself a lot of questions...and none of them might have an easy answer.

personally i think the part about discord not using them if he thought they could be reformed ridicules, discord didn't care as long as he got what he wanted, we as the audience know when they went to get the grogar bell, they considered becoming friends when they worked together and succeeded but at the last moment rejected it, the fact they all most accepted friendship means they could be redeemed, it tragic that none of the mane six knew this

and yet you do nothing to get your brother back a 1000 years in prison and as far as we knew scorpan never visited also why didn't Scorpan ask twilight to give him a chance to redeemed Tirek’, they could come up with a million way to keep Tirek’ de powered and let him try to get through to Tirek,

I think Scorpan did try to visit Tirek and Tirek refused to see him or if he did see him tirek tried to harm him in some way Tirek hates him with ba passion his hated was probably a lot worse and more violent at the beginning.
Also if I may recommend you should check out the MLP comic#2 Tireks secret origins it gives a good look into Tirek's mind and what lead to it it has and there is some really good hight comparisons between scorpan and Tirek

Aye, a crappy father who cared more about image then addressing his Childs issues, a loving but surprisingly meek mother and Scorpan as the only one that actually made any noteworthy attempt to address Tireks Anger, father, and general Napoleon complex style issues.
Negligence is just as bad as anything else, and unfortunately feeling bad about it doesn't mean diddly when someone else is suffering for it.

yeah it could have been great could have also been use to make it look like twilight not forgot about them in Tartarus, like grogar/discord had to send them back to prison for twilight monthly visit or something

I agree with that it really and would have helped the story seem more thought out then what we get also maybe even have them reject twilight's Offer of redemption and friendship that way they could at least say twilight tried help them it would have been nice if cozy glow and Tirek had a big brother little sister type of relationship or even mentor student relationship (like princess Celestia and twilight had)
Very moving and inspirational, though this talk of "people" is a bit strange for a story set in Equestria.
