After foiling Wallflower Blush's scheme, Sunset decides to spend some downtime with Starlight in the human world. They catch up for a while, but soon discover that they have something unique in common: The Trixie from their universe helped save the day at least once. Grateful for this trait, Starlight decides that both Trixies should meet up, since they're heroes and all.
And then the inevitable happens: Both Trixies meet up with each other and immediately decide to have a competition to figure out which Trixie is the Greatest and Most Powerful.
Things only escalate from there.

I dabbled with the idea of the two Trixies meeting up, and got maybe a chapter and a half done. Then I got writer's block and stopped. Then the hour-long episode happened. Then my old computer died.
Long story short, whatever I had before ain't happening now.

Considering human-Trixie has yet to (inadvertently) bring about Bearpocalypse or don corrupting necklaces...she's less arrogant than pony-Trixie.
And, before that, dooming the day by complete accident. Sure, it was two young boys who brought the Ursa to town, but it was Trixie's boasting that led to them making that decision. As for the Amulet, did she even know about the 'corruption' part? I get the feeling she was only told about the power-boosting effect, so she's also a victim.
Considering Ponyville managed to survive a Pinkie-vasion and Tirek's rampage...meh, what can two girls do?
Considering only ONE of you two clowns is in a familiar body and environment...this seems a bit unfair and biased to me.
Does "Great Trixie" even know how to use her fingers yet? Do sleight of hand, instead of hoof? She can't even use magic to compensate for this - I call rematch in Equestria!

When Celestia and Luna were taken by Discord's plundervines, which aren't exactly magic-proof, the celestial bodies paused in the sky.
I'd have to say the plundervines were the greater threat in this case, because constant heat and brightness on one half would eventually burn crops and prevent easy sleeping, while constant cold and darkness would freeze crops and lead to lack of energy; meanwhile, ponies can still harvest crops and go on without royalty.

Spike was the one who put the idea in their heads, if he hadn’t said anything they never would have brought the Ursa to Ponyville. So, once again, the blame cannot be placed on Trixie. If anything it’s actually Spike’s fault.
