I’ll be honest, I think a story about Cozy dealing with bed wetting could work just fine without mental regression being involved. I’m not really complaining it’s just that right now it feels like you’re gonna be dropping one plot in favor of another.
Good policy on Starlight's part, always come prepared.
A very nice start with a lot of the content going miles-and-miles beyond being a story one may perceive as a way to make diapers a core part of the story over the plot itself.
I definitely can see how Cozy having nightmares because of her correspondence with Tirek could really result in a lot of bad things. It was like her conscience was trying oh-so hard to get her to do the right thing and, in this case, she did. Unfortunately this did not end her trauma as the increased anxiety would be the tipping-point that made her wet the bed.
<LoL!> Starlight sure loves her Empathy Cocoa. Though it does sound like a great treat. I could see Cozy using the Comfort Pillow and, maybe, snuggling the Security Blanket as she went through sharing what she feared to share.
It's not surprising there would be bed wetters at the school. So many different creatures experiencing a different place for the very first time would surely have a massive amount of anxiety. Then you can toss in how different pony-based hygiene could be from their home environments and, well, there you go.
Hopefully Cozy's anxiety can be brought down before she goes through the entire supply of diapers.
I also comment on the little touch of how they are used for 'relaxation therapy'. For those open to it, I'm sure sitting in a diaper in a loacked counselor's office, or in the privacy of their dorm, could help them to sort out some thoughts. Perhaps help whomever needs it to not feel so vulnerable / exposed / etc.?

Whoops! Starlight is one heck of a magical pony BUT it always tends to come at the price of having the occasional 'backfire' / 'whoops!'.
Perhaps regressing Cozy won't be too bad... Maybe it would allow for Starlight to raise Cozy all by herself and give the filly another chance at what was taken from her as result of her stern parents?
Lots of Cozy Glow stories, including my own, tend to hypothesize the parents having a big part in how she ended up so desperate for attention that she went to great lengths to get it. When you are never given a proper amount of love, praise, etc. you do whatever it takes to get it. Be it good, or bad.
As a plus, for the moment, I doubt Cozy is worried about having filled her diaper. So, as Starlight would likely see this as a plus with a nervous laugh, it's at least one benefit amidst a huge mistake. :)
Hey, it's okay. These things happen.
All good stories take time. And, in this case, this chapter's time to release certainly allowed for a quality release.
The most easy to see things were Starlight's desperate attempts to not get caught while keeping her cool. You can easily see her flipping out in fear of the trouble she'd be in. especially after how all the havoc she caused during "Every Little Thing She Does".
What is fun to think on is whether-or-not Cozy may have been so compliant when she was at that particular age? If so, one would need to think what caused her to lose this behavior in lieu of being an easy-to-manipulate pony who is desperate for everyone to want her as their #1 friend.
Considering what the two of them are like this is actually a good thing.
Wow! Now this was an epic chapter and an interaction I never saw coming, nor often saw at all.
Cozy's parents definitely sound like the type who would traumatize their daughter into wanting to get 'revenge' for having being forced into next to everything. Staling magic would disarm her mom and, I'm guessing, she could find ways to fly to avoid her dad. (This may explain why people tell me Cozy is quite the little flyer for her age)
I'm not surprised at how scared Cozy was when she say her two intimadating parents. Usually, when it comes to their sort, these would be parents who'd have a child to keep up with social status along with ensure an heir is available for their mantel. Now we got to wonder if they'll have another child to whom, to their desire, will be a puppet in a loveless home.
Starlight is definitely best mom. I do believe she and Cozy would make a great connection. :)
The plot of the story is very interesting. It's nice to see that Cozy Glow regrets about all she'd have done, before doing anything cruel. It really gives her a whole new redemption ark, offering her a new life, making the viewer have some empathy for her, I really love the idea!
. Its nice how you started it all, by having her have nightmares and wetting the bed, it prepares the scenario for everything that will come up next. By the way, Cozy Glow liking all those baby stuff would explain why she would do those terrible things before, just because she was in need for some kind of relaxation, and that means playing as a baby, as she couldn't spent time playing as a baby with her parents in the past. 
Speaking of new life, it seems like she really embraces the baby stuff as it is presented to her
She was already enjoying doing all of this not regressed, will she continue to that after she goes back to normal?
This is a very cute and sweet story so far, I hope you can update it on a nice interval.
Nice job on this chapter! It seems like you really divided the attention equally to each of the young 6, It's nice to see all of them talking and seeing how each of their personalities are still the same!
Keep it up with this great story!

Best scenes are definitely those with Silver Stream and smolder working 'together' to get Cozy to eat. I'm sure this is not going to help her with her affinity for cute things and how conflicted she is in showing she wants to be a 'lovable dragon', like Spike, instead of one that is like her brother. (I don't buy-in to Garble's reform)
This made for a delightful conclusion to a wonderful 'alternative outcome' for cozy glow. Her not going through with Tirek's plan is great and getting background on why she was going to do what she was going to do. It also gives some head canon reasoning for the events in "School Raze".
Perhaps, given this story, Cozy never felt like she added up to what her parents expected of her? Perhaps her parents sent her to the School Of Friendship more as a way to 'hand her off' than to improve her ability to make friends? (There are sadly way too many absentee parents IRL)
The story shows that, in some way, she found a 'father figure' in Tirek. However, thankfully, she realized she was wrong to follow through on the plan the centaur had in mind. Perhaps she felt like Tirek was acting like her parents in just using her as a means to an end?
Regardless, I like tales of Starlight being the one to bond with Cozy. The two have much in common and, for Starlight, helping a filly get a 'second chance' at childhood, where Starlight lost hers, would be a satisfying way to end the series.
