Huzzah! The fun, and embarrassment, have been doubled! :)

The way the story reads is very good. It also makes sense that the efforts of Twilight Sparkle and friends have managed to put a lot of ponies fears to rest.

You also made a good point on how some ponies just were not sleeping at night as a result of the online gaming experience. I am sure she took notice of how many users / players were online at a given time and thought, "So this magical machine is what has kept so many ponies from dreaming?". Then, perhaps, a little smile would cross her face as she would get into her game and think, "Looks like we'll be the ones giving ponies nightmares by our victories!".

'Gaming Diapers' are definitely a known fact. They can save a few hours from being lost while in a big game. I have no doubt that Luna has purchased her diapers with exact calculations so she does not leak, leave an odor, nor does anything, short of an outburst, to attract unwanted attention.

It also does not hurt that Princess Celestia has no idea that her younger sister was wearing the diaper for gaming. If she did, I would guess the elder sister may have more to say than, " will say nothing if you do not say anything.".

Now, if Luna was caught gaming, I could here Celestia going crazy.

"Is this how you spend your nights?" she would ask with a hint of frustration. "I thought you wore those diapers because you were having bedwetting problems again?"

"Ponies are not having the bad dreams like they had over 1,000 years ago," Luna would reply. "We needed something to do to feel relevant and we are highly respected by the gamers who do not sleep."

Celestia narrows her eyes.
"Don't you think you should 'assist' these ponies in getting to sleep?" she would ask.

"They are not in the dream realm," Luna would reply. "Our influence is only when in the dream realm, or when I am in direct range of the one in need of slumber."

Celestia would then let out a deep sigh while shaking her head.
"Much has changed since you and I were together in sharing rule of Equestria," she would state. "Though even I was not aware of what this magical network was doing to some of our subjects."

"We have gotten quite good at playing games with those who do not rest at night," Luna added. "So I am still performing our duties by providing interaction while keeping a strong watch on the dreams of ponies."

Celestia nods her head and brings Luna in for a hug.
"Well," she replied . "You had always wanted ponies to enjoy your night. It seems that this magical network has given you what you've always wanted."

Luna beams.
"Oh, sister!" she cried. "We are happy for your approval!"

Celestia laughs.
"Maybe I should try playing one of those game?" she considers. "Though I believe I'll pass on the diapers."

Luna laughs.
"You say that now, sister," she teased. "But your mind shall change upon seeing how superior I am!"

This was an entertaining read. I always love seeing best princess in diapers. There aren't enough padded Luna stories out there.
