Short funny and sweet...I like it but if you want me to relate to everyone's favorite madman I think you should try having longer dialogue with more than just a sudden drop of "been turning into a drunken mess" and show the actual escalation good chappie but I know how good you are so I hope next chappie makes this set up chappie worth it

9819511 Eh, kinda, sorta. I want this story to focus mainly on the high jinx that the interludes hinted at in the first story. That being said, Max didn't come out of the ordeal completely unscathed. There's some baggage there, but it's not going to be the main focus of the story. As Bob Ross once said “Gotta have opposites, light and dark and dark and light, in painting. It’s like in life. Gotta have a little sadness once in a while so you know when the good times come."

That awkward moment where you wake up in a place you don't recall being in and remember "Oh, yeah.... the alcohol... Shit, what I miss?"

Good times... sometimes. Still hate that recovery day after, though.

I’ve been re reading the story to refresh some points. When I started reading this story I didn’t remember who primrose, evony or avera were. Well I remembered they were his guards but besides them living in the basement and duking out his halloween costume I didn’t remember what else they did.

I’m currently at chapter 33 after the archmage releases Dark Flare and the gang spend the day at the archives reading about the first humans.

Ooh ooh, on another note, you think we’ll be able to see Max’s family? Maybe them receiving the message he sent that went to a place with snow? Would like to see what’s been of their life after loosing Max. Maybe see what happened to earth after the humans were sent back.
