I bet Twilight will know right away and her insistence on keeping this secret will horribly backfire. I can't wait for the press to have a field day with this.
Horny Pregnant Twilight is going to be very very unhappy when she finds out about this. Chaos magic won't be required for her zapping Celestia this time.
twilight is going to get a heart attack xD
Twi is going to be horny and sprawled sexy like on the bed isn't she?
9986292
Especially if she decides to bite the bullet and finally tells "Max" or even "Princess Celestia" about being pregnant either one will have a different yet hilarious reaction
So Max is officially smarter than Celestia, since he decided to just spill to Luna rather than play out the Freaky Friday standard script of pretending to be each other that Tia wanted.
I wonder if Celestia will ever forgive Twilight for coming onto her while in Max's body... Or if she'll ever be able to forgive Max for allowing her to know what an inappropriate and uncooperative erection feels like.
... Stupid sexy Twilight.
One teleport later....
Celestia " Max, I fucked your wife. Also Spike was watching from the door."
9986360
"Twilight also said that it really got her going too. Food for thought. You'll need new sheets as well since the previous set was soiled beyond salvation."
CelestiMax was my favorite. Luna's reaction was spot on because I would have done the same. Having Max do crazy stuff or pose for wacky pictures before they switched for blackmail would be appropriate as well.
"Why, yes, every third Thursday of the month shall be Cake Day. Should another holiday occur on Cake Day, the prior holiday is celebrated first and Cake Day shall become Cake Night. Celestial decorations for Cake Night is encouraged. Taco Tuesday shall remain in place."
9986349
Not necessarily smarter, but he definitely has more common sense than Tia.
Straight to comedy.
I was about to roll my eyes at the "try and pretend that the body swap isn't happening" cliché, but then Luna spectacularly nipped that one in the bud. Thank you Luna! You have well earned your laughs this day.
I just died at that line. Alternating between giggling and laughing for minutes, much like Luna was in the following scene.
Wait, does Max still roll his r's in Celestia's body? Will CelestiMax start wearing an eyepatch like a sparkle-haired pirate since he's used to having only one eye? These are questions that must be answered!
I think we've all seen Freaky Friday and know that this is pretty much impossible, but definitely open to comedic possibilities.
Yeah. Dude's ambient chaos magic really should warrant 24/7 observation to prevent wacky hi-jinx. In fact, considering how long since his last incident, they really should suspect that he's due and be more wary.
The sitting line was absolutely critical to the... plot. Thank you for adding that.
Really hoping you can draw this out for another couple chapters, and show both perspectives. Celestia could find a way to tap into Max's natural magic and get up to low tier Discordian shenanigans. You could also say that the switch wasn't, that there is still some of the original personality left in the old bodies, giving Celestia romantic feelings for Twilight, or at least that'll be her excuse. The awkwardness should be glorious. Max could also encounter entitled petitioners in the halls and tell them to screw off, especially on human related matters.
Welp, hopefully Twilight won't be feeling frisky today.
9986550
My money is NOT on that outcome.
9986550
Given the set up and Murphy's adoration for Max and Twilight, watch as this will be the moment where Twilight works up the courage to tell 'Max' about her pregnancy.
20 bucks on Twilight telling CeliMax that she's pregnant before she realizes what's going on.
9986550
Aren't we forgetting something?
Twilight is going to try and jump his/her bones.
...I'll go make extra popcorn.
So Max is now in a females body, is he gonna try sex just to see what it feels like as a female?
9986704
XD XD XD XD Yes yes indeed!~
9986550
Max did promise her a good time when came back. So do you think Celestia well go through with it?
Too short! But great setup for future shenanigans.
I call pranking Blueblood. For a start.
9987189
She is the one that wants to keep the body-swap on the down low after all; Celestia is about to be closer to her star-student than ever before.
"Oh Twilight, there's no wrong way to fantasize"
If an immortal goddess lays an adult, then does it count as consensual or statutory rape?
9986623
Add my 20 to this.
Didn't think of it till few hours ago but who wants to guess what Pyresteed will do to CelestiMax?
9986567
What i'd like to know is how the hell that even happened. Did he knock her up when he was a pony or something?
9988024
Harmony said he'd left Max a little gift, but it was up to Twilight to tell him. Max had been railing on Twilight in the height of her heat, followed by Max railing on her after the battle. Plenty of room for Harmony to do a little fiddling.
9988032
Harmony fucking with genetics then.
I’m looking forward to Max having to raise the sun!
Max lights his horn and the sun slowly rises above the eastern horizon before suddenly flashing across the sky and disappearing into the west.
Luna: *stamping her hoof* "The day is not five seconds long!"
Max: "It's my first time! I was a little over-excited!"
So when do the weird executive orders get passed?
I have one thing to say: “This...is gonna be good.”
9986532
Captain Celestiaarrrr o' the skyship Equus, at yer service!
Can we raid Celestia's lingerie drawers? Please? I want to hear about how Tia gets furious, Lulu loses her mind and Twilight wants to kill a guy.

What Celestia did was horrible but the reasons she did it made it worse, as she explained it to Max she did it for political expediency, so that they would not be causing problems. In essence she did not want there to be humans present who understood the crimes her ponies were doing to them and remain bitter about it and possibly taint the new humans against the ponies with this understanding. She all the while mentioned that politics of the ponies too would be complicated by presence of the said humans.
And where crimes and traitorous nature of Max comes into effect is where he pats Celestia on the head and tells she is a good pony after she did this and keeps her secrets and does nothing. But then again the ending is all about tropes and one of the greatest tropes there are on this site is where Celestia commits atrocities and everyone claps in the end when she tells that she felt sorry doing so.
In essence Celestia removed a specie of sapient slaves who her people had abused and tossed them to die or live without informing or preparing them for the dangers to come for political stability. 71% of earth is water so she casually sacrificed over 50% of the captive humans so her, and life of her ponies would be a bit more easy and safe. And Max patted that pony head and said she is a good pony, and remained silent about the matter.
This is complicity in my mind it works as follow: as one of the aims of Celestia was to keep the new humans docile and shackled to ponies since they are only source of education and information for them now. Max not acting to inform pony population about humans genocide (they were distinct population of humans she got rid of in manner which likely killed majority of them. I am quite sure this would count as genocide) so she can hide what happened first from her own population and by extension from humans makes Max very much complicit in the said crimes.
Luna might have managed to save herself, but I didn't...
I just wanted to thank you for continuing this absolute gem of a story, it has been one hell of a ride and I can't wait for more!
Here until the end and beyond ~Dollars
9991444 You raise several good points, but in the end, Celestia didn't send them back to Earth because of political expediency. She sent them home as an attempt of mercy, twisted as it may be. She didn't want to keep the Terran humans in a world that would be calling for their heads due to the amount of death and chaos they caused, and she didn't want to punish a group of individuals who's only real crime was being kidnapped and used for someone else's agenda. Her decision had nothing to do with a possible "tainting" of the new humans against the ponies, and you can see that, despite the rage the Terrans had against the ponies, it never crossed over to the Equestrian humans. The Terrans wanted to fight the ponies and get revenge; the Equestria humans just wanted to be equals. Unless I'm misremembering my own work, there was never a concern of anything political. It was just a case of sending the Terran humans back where they belonged.
And what was Max supposed to do? Tell Celestia to bring them back? Yes, sending them home had a large chance of being dangerous, but the Terrans didn't want to stay in Equestria. If they stayed, ponies would have wanted justice for the damage they caused, and the Terrans already felt enslaved and oppressed by the ponies, so both sides would have just kept hating each other. What benefit would there have been for keeping them in Equestria against their will?
That was never in the story and is your own opinion on the matter. Celestia has never shown a desire to keep the Equestrian humans shackled to ponies. In fact, if you recall, she's one of the first ones to start trying to establish the Equestrian humans as an intelligent species to the ponies of Equestria.
Again, this is just what you want to believe. Yes, the way the Terran humans were sent back was dangerous, however, Celestia isn't trying to hide what she's done. Dozens of guards, doctors, and scientists were present when they sent the Terran humans home and none of them have been silenced. And, as per the epilogue and this sequel, Celestia is having several ponies run up a report of everything that happened, which INCLUDES the Terran humans.
She wants ponies to know what happened so that it might not happen again. She's not trying to cover up anything. Is what she did twisted? Yes. Could there have been a different way to handle the situation? Yes. But the thing about Your Human and You is that not everyone is perfect. No one has the perfect answered to everything. It's not a story about black and white, right and wrong. It's a story about grayness, about the ambiguity of one side verse another.
That all being said, I do agree that Celestia is in the wrong here, and that's supposed to be part of the story. I've found that too many stories had Celestia always have the answers for every problem, so I decided to try and make her more... 'mortal', so to speak.
9993556
This is exactly her choosing political expediency, she could have given blanket amnesty or could have given light sentencing to the humans but it would have caused a political backslash. She chose the easy option of getting rid of the problem in its entirety which was a path of least resistance. Instead she chose an option where more than 50% of them would die from exposure and or drown.
It could be i am missing something here but what you said to be her reasoning is exactly what political expediency is. I am unsure that pony system of law would have condemned 50% of them to gruesome death but i could be wrong in this account.
This would be a valid point if they had been given full understanding of the situation and each would have been given a choice to go or stay. This did not happen.
It could be that is something i have read that into the story on my own, would need to read it again to say differently. But we have here a monarch who happens to benefit from removal of population which is likely to cause problems and she just happens to make a 'bad choice' related to them which removes them as a potential source of problems. And this monarch justifies it that it was for their own good to be subjected to 50% mortality rate transportation to home instead of facing theoretical prosecution by remaining in Equestria?
This to me rings a bit hollow that Celestia would not see the beneficial sides which comes from the removal of the said problem, but could be she simply does not see the world in such manner. If you look at the story as it is now, things going forward on their own pace where ponies still carelessly say things like this "You two are lucky you’re so helpful and friendly, otherwise I might have replaced you." This kind of mentality would have vanished quickly if there was some adults to help humans come in to their own independence, but conveniently they were all 'helped home'.
Not hiding part is good, but if she is trying to push the responsibility of reporting her misdeed in his book she is again making a really bad decision which might be seen as very self-serving. In essence she is telling brutalized former slave who is living in the shadow of his old mistress to write a truthful and critical account about the whole thing? You can see his position and general respect towards human right there when he is medicated against his will by Luna.
In my mind he should have told Celestia to make a meeting where she explain the situation to Equestria and then tell the ponies that she trusted them so little that she decided to send Earth Humans to face 50% of fatality instead of trusting them to do the right thing before she is forgiven for the deaths she likely caused. Or something similar, he should have done something. Make there to be a price to be paid.
I agree this happens too much, but also Celestia is let off the hooks too easily in many MANY stories on this site. Mistakes she make are quite rarely held against her and they end up buried in the background as "forgiveness and friendship" is brought into the end point of the story. Very rarely she is told to own up her mistakes publicly or face prosecution on her failures to govern. This is something which annoys me a lot and likely is the why i am writing this post here now. Max literally patted her on the head and told that she was a good pony after she killed 50% of Earth humans by sending them home without making them aware of the dangers.
PS:
I really liked reading your story and this is not aimed against you on any level. I just get really stuck into certain details in
somemany stories. And that if authors would get stuck in the same details i am not certain they would make better stories.9993969
Nah, dude. Let me have it. It helps me grow as an author and I love seeing outside perspectives. If I just surround myself with yes-man and people patting me on my back, I'd never get better. Your points are actually really interesting and I'm already finding myself catching things that I didn't even think of before.
9994964
Constructive criticism at its finest.
I hope the next chapter comes out soon! I’m eager to find out what happens in Max’s adventures.
10009846 Yeah, the next chapter is a little delayed because of the holidays, family interactions, and a simple (yet exhausting) medical procedure I had done. Hopefully I'll have it ready by this Friday. If not, the next Friday for sure.
10010130
That’s understandable. Be sure to enjoy the rest of the holiday and I hope you get better soon.
I just thought of something, hows the whole Tirek situation gonna play out without Discord?
9987468
Statutory rape is when someone over the age of consent has sex with someone under the age of consent. So an adult and an immortal is not statutory rape.
Luna isn't getting forcefed something that was suggested by the healers, is she?
