This story is a sequel to My Little Mages: Seraphic Guidance
After Sunburst found the only uncounted for grinorum of Star Swirl the Great in a blind-buy barrel and finding out the fate of Star Swirl and the other five other legendaries, Twilight seeks to save her ideal and in turn rescue the other legendaries.
What could possibly go wrong?
A My Little Mages AU retelling of Shadow Play
It’s been too long, I thought you’re going hiatus on us. Glad to be wrong.
No, just Real Life stuff
Not that I didn't enjoy what you wrote, but I can't help but feel as if helping you write your stories has spoiled me greatly.
9220212
Well, if you wish to no longer help. I won't hold it against you.
9220263
Let me put it this way. The first time that you smuggled Flash into a story, I fangirled so hard. I'm having a harder time getting excited over him now that I know he's going to be in there. You do have other people who help you write these, right? I don't mind helping with the big overarching stuff. It just gets tricky when you start fleshing out the details.
This was a great start to the story! It'll be fun to see what additions are made later on. Although, I can tell for one scene later, one of the books Twilight and Spike are searching through is going to be "Mermaid/Merfolk Etiquette" or something. And as a Brick Joke/Continuity Nod/Call Back, somebody (probably Pinkie) would remark that the book would've been useful during the events of the movie. XD
9220284
well, I won't pressure you.

Why thank you...
So far this looks really good. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places. I particularly liked the reasoning gave for why Celestia and Luna were not more familiar with the Pillars with the exception of Starswirl (i.e. their parents and trainers worked to keep them OUT of that sort of life). Again, I love how you are combining episode faithfulness with your own touches.
Just one thing. At one point, you said "'power-mad pony'" when I think you mean "'power-mad INDIVIDUAL'" (since we ARE talking about humans here).
That's just a minor thing, though, and I will definitely be looking forward to more of this.

tehehe Thanks. It's corrected
Aww, that bonding moment with Flash and Dash was really sweet. I don't think my heart can take it. It's nice to see them bonding over military stuff instead of getting competitive over them. Nice to see references to the other events from the show.

Normally that's how it should work, military people bond over the rough life of being in the military. As for the two, they both fully respect each other now. I am glad you enjoyed it.
Wait a second.......
daring doo is her mom?!?!?

And it's beautiful, isn't it?

Once more, you did an excellent job on this chapter. The exchanges, action and future chapter set-up were, of course, well done, but I also really liked how you added a bit more detail into scenes that the actual show didn't have time for. As I said earlier, the fact that you can combine general episode faithfulness with your own touches is something that I can always greatly respect. I especially liked the scenes with Discord and Rainbow and Flash's bonding over the attempt to recover the shield.
Excellent job on this latest chapter. Again, the action, exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up were all well done in all the right places. I especially liked Pinkie listing off the adventures she and her friends have had over the past couple of years as well as
1. The reasoning out of the comparisons of the Pillars' representations AND the Elements of Harmony
and
2. The eliminations of their quarry's potential hiding places (which also doubled as a means for the Pillars to get a small glimpse of how much the world has changed in two thousand plus years.
So, yes, I WILL be looking forward to more of this.
XD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
The whole chapter was great as well. Loved the interactions between the Elements and the Pillars.
Alternate chapter title: The Universe Goes Out of its Way to Repeatedly Prove Starswirl Wrong.
Very little I can say beyond, splendid work on the exchanges, characterizations, action, general wrap-up and future story set-up in all the right places. I especially liked the little bits of added info you worked in (particularly as far as the Pillars' apologies went AND Celestia and Luna's reunion with Starswirl).
I am VERY definitely going to be looking forward to more of your works in this universe.
Aww. What a sweet ending!
This version won't have the idiot plot the canon version had, will it?
Yay
Lol
I have to say, this is a rather amusing short epilogue scene. :-D The humor and characterizations were quite well done.
Oooh! I can't believe I missed this. The scene at Fluttershy's cottage totally added to the humor.
