Blue Sky, an aspiring pilot, has had a crush on Sunset Shimmer for most of high school. When assigned as partners for a class project, he sees a chance to help them get a good grade... and maybe even a date in the process.

So I'm just randomly checking the front page and I see this in new stories. Will read.

Glad you liked it!

Well done. Simply well done.

You did an absolutely splendid job writing this. I loved it all the way through, from start to finish.

Wow, thanks a lot, man. There's a few little holes here and there but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

That was a very touching and beautiful story. You made your character very interesting and is probably my new favorite oc. :scootangel:

Wants more. :fluttercry::twilightsheepish:

Hey, thanks a lot, I was trying to create an OC that wasn't a doormat or otherwise completely forgettable. Even if he is a little generic, as is the story (let's be honest here), I wanted to give him a trait that I haven't seen too much of in human-based fics. Becoming a pilot seemed like a cool idea.

Great story, dude. Definitely a gem.

well, this was an enjoyable read. I agree with another commenter down below, Blue Sky was a really charming OC. His inner monologue was pretty darn great. Great job on this one!

By the way, we got an 'A' on our project.

No A+? Riiiiiiiiipooooooooooff!

You mean I created a likeable human OC who wasn't completely Milquetoast?

Huh. I'm actually surprised at Sky's reception. Usually, human OCs aren't viewed very favorably.

Well, thank you very much!

Only now did I finally get to read this, and I berate myself for not doing it earlier. It was a wonderful story. Fluffy, but wonderful nevertheless.

That drama tag doesn't make much sense to me though... not really much in terms of conflict happening in this story.
And I'm not complaining, as this was just a nice, smooth ride from start until the end. Great job

After all, it's easy to be happy when you're flying into a sunset sky.

Sunset Sky.
You just HAD to do that, didn't you? :rainbowlaugh:

FINALLY! Someone got it!

I absolutaly loved this fic, it was greatly writen, the protag is very beliavable and I had no trouble in liking him and you had Sunset as the main gal in this, five moustaches out of five: :moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache::moustache:
By the way, here is a tiny request mixed with a question, sequel, please? :pinkiesad2: I mean, will you make a sequel out of this, with the fourth EQG movies coming out soon if it didn't already came out

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! Truthfully, I don't have much for a sequel but if I come up with something, I'll definitely try to put something up.

Wow.

That's all I need to say. The oc was real, the banter was humorous and touching, the entire story was well though and excellently paced. Just... Wow.

Well done, good sir. Well done indeed.

This is one of those stories that need more love. The storyline was a tad cliche, but the characters were relatable and the story itself was very well done. Blue was a good OC. Relatable and without Gary Stu tendencies or massive self-esteem problems. Thank you for writing this.

It was my pleasure. So glad you enjoyed it!

Time for a brief story: I came to your page after reading Lucky Strike expecting a clopfic for a quick "dopamine release" and was surprised with interesting characters and a unique premise (at least to me it's unique). But then I had gotten caught up with what you had written, so I went on your page to see if there were other stories within a similar genre. That's when I found Worth Waiting For. Once again I fell in love with the characters, the portrayal and the whole feeling behind it. But once again I got caught up to what you had written. By that time other stories I had favorited had published a few new chapters so I went on to read those. But recently you posted a new chapter for Lucky Strike (loving it btw) and I near immediately started to read it. After I had finished I took another look at your page recognizing Worth Waiting For. I remembered how good you are at character portrayal and decided to read another of your stories. Thus was that story and I love it whole heartedly. Sir (or Madam) you have captured my heart with your characters and I am going to go from this story to reading your other stories! You have amazed me and all I can do in return is thank you for the wonderful experience you have provided not only to myself but to this entire community. Thank you.

Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so pleased that you found so much to enjoy. That's exactly what I set out to do and it feels great to know that I occasionally succeed in my endeavors. :rainbowlaugh: Anyway, thanks again and keep reading!

"Thanks, dear. See you soon and for God's sake, don't forget to use a con…"

I love this mom :rainbowlaugh:
