Favorited and liked because I want to watch the HECK out of this story.

Great premise with fairly believable characterizations - though working with two non-canon personalities makes it easy to suspend our disbelief in any case.

This is an entertaining start, without a doubt. Ditzy's tension around Dash is cute, both for Dash's similarity to Daring and for the obvious other reason. The sibling byplay is fairly well-presented, and the exposition is pretty smoothly crammed into the dialogue without too many "tool marks" showing. Arguments are always a great way to share information with the reader.

And of course, a nice cliffhanger at the end of a chapter is always a good way to build interest.

I am certainly curious to see where this goes.

*SORT-OF-NOT-REALLY-SPOILERS!(morelikejustinsightfromtheauthor)*  Daring was more devastated by the accident than she lets on.  She's seriously scarred by it, but uses expert flippancy and sarcasm to make it "not a big deal" and ease her mind.  And Ditzy definitely WAS NOT pregnant with Dinky when they fought over the stallion.  You'll get more detail to the backstory by the end, I promise.

A little better, but not all that much.

Yeah, it is realistic, but it's a kind of realistic people aren't necessarily comfortable with- especially here since we're dealing with what in the show is an Adventuring Archaeologist caricature- I know when I see Daring Do I expect adventure fun times with a Chaotic Good protagonist. You've ditched the D&D alignment tables and given the ponies more human hearts, which caught me in a full on broadside.

I would like this story a lot more had the summary actually prepared me for it. You either need to throw up a dark tag or give a better description, because I don't really think the sad tag cuts it here(preferably the better description, because for all the drama I don't really see this as going too dark). They say don't judge a book by it's cover, but by golly the name, description and illustration made me expect adventure fun times with the Doo sisters, and not a family scarred by a near fratricidal incident.

So Daring Doo is the sister that all about action. While Ditzy Doo is the sister that puts all the clues together and points the way to the treasure.

Is Dinky part alicorn, i wonder... but given the clue came from a Daring Do story, he might just be a normal unicorn. But is Dinky Doo nobility?

Ditzy then set's of after them and ends up having an incredibly exciting adventure of her own. Meanwhile, rainbow dash goes searching for Daring, and eventually finds her, but then puts both Daring, Dinky and Dash (to many D's) in severe danger. Ditzy comes along and saves the day
