Twilight Sparkle is a scientific pony.  She understands things when they are explained.

Pinkie Pie is... uh... not a scientific pony.  And she can't explain anything.

But there are secrets in the Wabe that Twilight needs to know, and only Pinkie has the answers.

A side-story to "The Sisters Doo".

In my world, the "Hearth's Warming Eve" episode was focusing on the Mane Six's play.  In the factual annals of Equestrian History, Commander Hurricane, Smart Cookie, and Clover the Clever were all stallions.  Princess Platinum, Chancellor Puddinghead, and Private Pansy remain mares.

To be once more a little child

    For one bright summer-day."

    -closing stanza of Solitude

    No spoiler's hand may enter,

These visions fair, this radiance rare,

The third time I read through my Collected Works was when Sylvie and Bruno REALLY hit me. It's tough at first, but the story and illustrations really remind me of all the old Wizard of Oz books, which I love.

"Say, whose is the skill that paints valley and hill,

Like a picture so fair to the sight?

That flecks the green meadow with sunshine and shadow,

Till the little lambs leap with delight?

'Tis a secret untold to hearts cruel and cold,

Though 'tis sung, by the angels above,

In notes that ring clear for the ears that can hear-

And the name of that secret is Love!

For I think it is Love,

For I feel it is Love,

For I'm sure it is nothing but Love!"

-End verse of A Song of Love:heart:

And Phantasmagoria is just phenomenal! His poetry is just so.... natural.

Funny enough, I've tried to read "Sylvie and Bruno" twice before.  Perhaps I, like you, will enjoy it on my third go-round.  What he tells me three times is true, after all.  :raritywink:

Yeah, mine came illustrated with Tenniel's, as well as quite a few other notables' illustrations. It's amazing how he managed to capture his thoughts perfectly not just a few times, but in all of his verses.

And my favorite fun fact is that Alice was really a brunette (although, being a brown-haired gal myself, I may just be prejudiced against the blonde Disney version).:scootangel:

Ok, so I started reading this expecting just another 'X in Wonderland' style story which seemingly only draws on one or two films (The wrong view to take, retrospectively thinking, after you've already shown a fairly developed grasp of Dodgson's works) and then I got to my favourite poem written in narrative (That the right choice of words?) and...

Well, the English language has many faults and limitations, one of which I have now reached.

So I'll borrow a page of my ancient ancestors and use a picture to display my thoughts in a succinct manner.

    The Pinkie Theory

We seen a lot during the episodes. But something started to come into my head after reading This Story. I started to think and I realised that Pinkie Sense can finally be explained. I now know why Pinkie Pie can do some weird stuff. I call it the Pinkie Theory, maybe shes not and ordinally Earth Pony. I think that she has some type of magic inside her that lets her sense the future and do some abnormal stuff. I will point it out.

In this image you can see that Twilight is looking at the mirror and Pinkie Pie is inside. Thats kind of weird. Is Pinkie looking at the mirror and Twilight is just looking at the mirror. maybe its just a reflection or shes inside.

This is probably the most talked about and Its Pinkie Sense. In the episode Feeling Pinkie Keen, Twilight is just having some bad luck. I don't understand it either. somehow she can sense the future. In this saturday's episode will have Pinkie Pie and mirrors and copies of her so watch it this saturday and I will miss it I think because I'm going to Illinois for a week so I will post two weeks. Go watch the full episode of Feeling Pinkie Keen its funny.

Rather obvious he was speaking of another pony since he went out of the way to describe them as if introducing a new a character to the forefront of attention. The green Banker became black and was left behind as he was insane. Yet Candle Ends was still with the group. Big difference.

My mistake.  I actually had that idea originally but somehow around this transition became convinced that maybe they were the same.

"“Not to these creatures,” the Bellsteed said in a low voice that chilled those who listened.  “We’ve lost half the day, and we must find the Snark before night, lest we risk the same fate as our good banker here.”

With a final glance at the babbling pony, the entirety of the crew rushed on, huddled close together and peering through the underbrush as keenly as they collectively could.

The baker was close to vomiting, tripping at every other step as his eyes swirled in their sockets.  Feather noticed his state and wrapped one wing around him, pulling him close to steady his shivers.  “We’ll be okay, Candle Ends,” she whispered, “as long as we all stick together.”"

I think it's because the banker is babbling and ill and then next thing we know Candle Ends (referred to as the baker) is close to vomiting with twirly eyes.
