Maybe... I have a few little vignettes in my head already.
I'm currently in the middle of writing another story (31 pages in). This just kinda came out in a fervor the other day. Once the other story is done, I may add a second chapter here, with a bunch of Daww and comedy moments.

Just a note... Big Mac wouldn't be a Baron just because he has land.
He would be a Laird, or a Lord, a landowner. Now, if Big Mac owned a collection of farms and fiefdoms, and had a body of Lairds or Lords beneath him, he would be a Baron.
That said, under certain circumstances under the British peerage system, some Lords or Lairds were Barons unto themselves, this was done for the sake of cheating when votes came up during the period feudal government. By having a larger number of Barons beneath their banners, higher ranking members of the aristocracy held more power. It gets really messy if you try to understand it.
In a democracy, every vote counts. In feudalism, every Count votes, but not all votes are equal.

I think the idea of the alicorns birthing a series of kids over their lifetimes whenever they decide to take a lover is intriguing. Since we know that alicorn mares can birth alicorn foals, I wonder if that suggests there's some secret colony of alicorns from Celestia and Luna's affairs over the millennia?

I very much doubt that, since both Luna and Celestia stated to Twilight that the birth of an Alicorn is something that was not known to happen. So, if there was a secret colony of Alicorns that Celestia and/or Luna was in any way responsible for (sexually or no), that would make them seem like a big liar, which doesn't fit either of their characters in my opinion.
But I do agree, the idea of Celestia having foals over the course of her long life is definitely an intriguing one, to say the least.

I am tough to please. Most fics I read I dislike for one reason or another. It's not that I have "high standards" or some bulshit like that. I'm just picky and it's a bad thing.
But this story is just perfect. It's fun and it's hot, it has a nice pacing, the right mood and it gets the job done. It has a pairing that I absolutely love and I liked both characters involved. Something that bothers me to no end is when writers cop-out away from the size differences when Celestia is involved, but this story works it to its advantage, making characters aware of it and dealing with it.. More people to do this.
Also, hickies for the win.
