Well, that's more than slightly disturbing. The idea of the sun moving outside the rise-and-set routine at all, much less acting as a bellwether for Celestia's romantic actions, is downright surreal. Mood apples are kind of funny, but the idea of something cosmic subject to a single person's feelings... I don't know why, but I can't help but feel dread at the concept.
Also, it raises very unpleasant questions about sunspots.
That being said, this was still a very enjoyable story. Thank you for it.
