You know, after reading this chapter, I get the very distinct feeling that Twilight's going to tell a certain group of ponies (and yes, that includes her ex-mentor) to get the Tartarus out of her life, and stay out of it!
And I wouldn't blame her one bit for doing so.

Great chapter. I am guessing that the one that remains friends is Fluttershy since she apologized. I am guessing that they know Cadence was actually a changeling now. And have been trying to find her since then, but it is now to late. Although Twilight has been living in the Everfree Forest, which is near Ponyville I have a question. Zecora lives in there as well and the Crusaders visit Zecora a lot, do those four know about Twilight? Zecora is trustworthy and you could have the Crusaders remain friends with and side with her and her new friends especially since they are close to Twilight, and did not betray her. Looking forward to the next chapter.
6919172 In this universe, the role of Luna and Twilight got reversed (Luna frees Cadance but gets defeated, and Cadance activates the power of love), so Chrysalis was defeated. This will probably be better explained in future chapters.
As for Zecora, she may appear as a moral support to Twilight, but I doubt it because I suck at rhyming like she does. The Crusaders probably won't appear. I have no roles for them.
The indentity of the friend that stays with her shall remain a secret. *mysterious face*

7833571 I write the chapter in QuickMemo+ and then copy and paste it here. Sometimes there's a huge space left, but it takes more effort to adjust everything so that it doesn't show than just leaving it be. If it bothers you that much, though, I'll take it off.
