my question was why did she let twilight read that researcher.......

7630442 She could have found it in a book about general medicine, not just his theories.

And even if she had read about him only, Celestia wouldn't have expected anything rash. One normally doesn't go killing people after you read a book about criminology.

...This is... Wow...

Simplistic, yet finely detailed. Emotional, with the utter lack of emotion. A little short, yet none of the space was wasted. In all honesty, it almost doesn't seem to belong as a one-shot, and yet when I think about it, anything added before or after would have most likely skewed the message.

I am in awe of this story. Sickeningly short, yet I hung on every word. Very well done.

Thank you so much. I don't think you know how happy your words make me.

I know it's short, but I felt like making it any longer would be abusing it.

7630531 It's no problem. I'm just a friendly reader voicing their opinion.

Nothing subjective about it. She's completely batshit. :pinkiecrazy:

This one shot could do with another little one-shot-sequel about the trial. I just have an interest in how the trial would go.

man i dont know what to say about this i mean emotionally i feel confused, conflicted, and shocked all at the same time what reaction am i supposed to give?

I thought about a sequel or even a second chapter, but I feel that it would just be repeating the same things again.

Twilight's crazy from our point of view, but from hers, she's perfectly sane.

7631428 Um...

...

Puppies?

It's kinda scary but I can see Season 1+start of Season 2 Twilight doing this, if she thought that it would please Princess Celestia.

Ah, Ask Researcher Twilight, always a wonderful source of nightmare fuel.
A very short, yet still unsettling story. Good job!

Well, yes, that's how you can tell someone is quite insane: they don't think they're crazy.

(Or to put it another way, if you think there's a route between "interesting scientific problem" and "torture my friends to death without expecting disapproval" which doesn't require a ride on the Crazy Train, then you're a stranger man than I am, Gunga Din. Or you have some odd ideas about scientists. :derpyderp1: )

The story is very chilling, giving just enough details for a very clear Image of what must have happened to the other Elements. I like this because it's both creepy and unsettling. Great job on the writing, defiantly a good read.

There is no way twilight would decide that the end justifies the means!

Enchant her doll for friendship lesson
Tries to steal pearl form Hippogriffs to defend Equestria
Summon the pillars and their enemy just to meet her idol
break in to the forbidden library to find why she went back in time
Forces her friends to drink some potion to prove Discord enchanted them (he didn't)
and many more

oh okay, maybe she would...
