It would also be good if you kept the idea in one direction, kind of like putting it in an arc.
Just leaving the last chapter like that with a major cliffhanger then going into a different point of view can be a bit sudden and disorienting.

Sooo much like Twilight to jump the gun like that.
From the looks of this chapter, it seems strongly rushed. It was going fine until halfway into the party, it seems to have gone fast forward. It would have gone better if a dialouge was opened but basically it just escalated too quickly. I guess you can base Twilight's actions on herd instinct but immediately condemming withought proper investigation? I thought she learned not to judge a book from its cover. Isnt she supposed to be the princess of friendship? She's failing that now.
Feel free to ignore this,but next chapter, I'd like to see Twilight realize just how badly she screwed up!
And that her actions may have just cost them a potentially powerful alliance... And a sister too, Barb already understands our fatherly protagonist, she'd be heartbroken if anything happens to him and Twilight was the cause.

Sorry to say but there was not enough guilt felt from the equestrian's side. With all the fighting and death and destruction, I'm surprised they weren't affected more.
After everything, they STILL believed they wouldn't face retribution.

I'm still following this story. I am a fan of Overlord, but I should mention I felt the anthro and hostile (ambushing) nature of the work sort of takes away from the story. From the story Overlord we've seen at least one character, the blob member in the beginning, have a body type that is uniquely non-humanoid, and thus implies that Overlord had non-humanoid races to play. Well, it's not a big loss, but it could have still worked, even with Barb (as Spike is bipedal). The story is still interesting and I do appreciate the large collection of non-human former NPC characters such as the catgirl and lizardgirl. The links you provide in the story do help with visualizing stuff, though honestly if the keep looked like it did in the image, it should have been visible from some distance away.
I'm not a big fan of the ponies setting up an ambush against a leader of a faction when no hostile action had been taken by him, it doesn't sit well with me. Even his subjects are happy from all indications, so it strikes me as an out of character moment. Especially when Twilight herself doesn't understand the magic used.

Spotted a few errors in this chapter in the form of words lacking the final letter in them amongst other flaws and I hope that someone will edit this soon because the story seems good so far and it would be a shame to scare away potential readers with bad grammar (but im too lazy to do it unfortunately).
