This was truly moving story! Loved every minute of it!

What was the prompt, if one doesn't mind my asking?

I not going to read this because, I know it would make me vary sad. Yet I still am interested in this story.

6499337 Twilight finds out that one of her friends has committed suicide, and blames herself, is pretty much the summary.

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

Did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
Did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

nice story

How I wish,
How I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls,
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year.
Running over the same old ground,
And how we found,
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Thank you

Been to a few funerals in my day. I understand regret. I always wish I could have done more. These stories really dig at my heartstrings. And I really like Moondancer. Hope to see her again, in this life or the next.

6515609 She will be seen in more of my stories, of that, I feel certain.

Nicely written! As AU sadfics go, I feel like it was better than others I've read. Not too sad in the end, but really moving and thought-provoking. Thanks for the great story!

6518960 glad that you enjoyed the story, my friend
