This epilogue ties the sequel together with this story much more beautifully...:moustache:

Ha ha, perfect tie in.

Wow. Rarity's a dick. Did it not occur to her that Fluttershy may happen by?

All of my approval. As well as this thingy I made a week or so ago:
i.chzbgr.com/maxW500/7940310016/hFA9549D5/

P.S. That's what google told me when I tried to sound out what was said in the episode, I don't know French, but I do know it wasn't monsieur or bonjour, so I gave it my best guess.

Commence read...

...though a rather quick one.

Rarity being pulled into the spontaneous allure of the Pinkie Pie.

I couldn't help but think of Smile HD when I saw the title.:rainbowwild::pinkiecrazy:

I think you meant presence of mind rather than pretense of mind. :P

3747819 Of course I meant that. I mean, if it was all a pretense that implies that Rarity somehow planned this out, and that would just be silly. :raritywink:

Now THIS is how you announce a sequel!

And then, well we all know what happened next. :rainbowlaugh:/:duck:

heh, at least it explains how that accidental peepin pony stunt flutters pulled in t sequel came to be :raritywink: but, alas it's also when shy's luv problems started :facehoof:. Oh well, cie la vie or whatever that french term is

3747311 Well, in fairness, Pinkie did spring the maid outfit on her. It got a bit difficult to think clearly after that.

3765060 lol @ 2 dislikes. People seriously can't take a stab of criticism (not you, Steel. You take it like a champ).

3750699 My thoughts exactly. I only just now found this chapter after having read the first one of the sequel the day it came out, and the opening to the sequel makes a good deal more sense now.

3773902
yah, same goes for me on findin this chap after t 1st ch on t sequel . heh, of course this still doesn't solve flutter's luv prob thou :fluttershysad: but, sooner or later we'll find out how that's goin for her in chap 2 :raritywink:

3815983 Sorry if that wasn't more clear. She basically discovered because her mother was too prudish to either explain that what she found Rarity doing wasn't shameful or at the least send her to somepony who could... she gave Rarity a complex about self pleasure that lasted until Pinkie took matters in hoof.

Don't you hate when you see the other stories available years ago and decide to finally read them?:pinkiesad2:
Oh what I had missed...:ajsleepy:
Another great read Steel Resolve, and a long time coming at that.:scootangel:
(Just like Rarity!:raritywink:)

Oh my!:pinkiegasp:

I see what you did there. This is one of my all time favorite fics and I was just fooling around when I noticed the epilogue you added.

Cute ending and now I remember how the sequel started. Awesome!

That was cute, and hilarious  I would never ship those two together but you did very well and made it believable :twilightblush: Well done, looking forward to reading the sequel

Pinkie was pretty depressed in this :pinkiesad2: but I still loved the story! :raritywink:

5150542 Well, it was hard for her. The only thing worse than being in love with somepony who you think you have no chance with is also being involved with them physically and believing they don't know what it means to you. And she'd never bring it up, she just internalizes sadness. :pinkiesad2:

5155007 ahh I can understand completely :fluttershysad: made the story much cleared for me haha thnx! :pinkiehappy:

I read it. And I sure as hell enjoyed it. Thumb up, favorite, no doubt. But I have a Recommendation-shelf. I'm new, I'm a nobody, but even so, it's important to me, what I stuff in there. I considered putting this story there for... like... half a minute? And then, it was in. Easy as that.

Some said it before, so I'll try not to bore you to death. Your story was intense, lovely, touching, funny... and more. I feared - as I do every time I open a tab with a story rated 'mature' -, that it would turn out to be another clop-story. But it didn't. In fact, it turned out to be a well-balanced, well-written, mature story. Simple as that. And I'm grateful.

Your characterization of Rarity was interesting. She's the one of the mane six I 'get' the least, but you made me laugh with her and fear for her. Though, what really, and I mean really flashed me... was Pinkie. Your portrayal of her was just... how would Rarity put it? 'Marvelous'. She wasn't that stupid, annoying one-trick-horse, being silly all the time. She wasn't that stupid gimmick breaking the fourth wall again and again. (At some point, as funny as it is and can be, it might just get old...) She was, instead, a well-grown pony, with more depths than most writers grant her. I really can't express how joyful it was, seeing her like that.

Maybe I should've mentioned this at the beginning of this comment: Rarity and Pinkie Pie isn't really a ship I considered. Ever. When I read the description, I just shook my head and settled for a weird ride. But you made it believable. You made it sound possible. And that... is a real magic trick.

Thank you!

PS.: One thing I forgot... I really, really, REALLY appreciate it that their sexual encounters didn't run that smoothly. Especially since it was the first time for both of them. Over time, one can simply grew tired of all those times where both participants shine due to their inexplicable stamina, strength, experience or simple 'talent', acting completely hallow and way to perfect to be authentic.
Here, Rarity and Pinkie had an adventure of their own, they had to learn, they had to live through their flaws and errors. That... was a nice change. So... thanks for that too.

5331833 Glad you enjoyed it. As luck would have it, I have a sequel well under way, with a new chapter close to being released. :yay: :raritywink: :pinkiehappy:

Yupp, already seen it. It's on my list! Though I have to admit that I try not to start reading a story until it's finished. You never know how life changes, what circumstances the writer will have to cope with. Stories can be set 'on hiatus', they can be cancelled, they can be left incomplete forever - and to be honest... I really, really, really despise leaving something unfinished. That includes reading. And since I can't 'make' the author write more or faster or anything, I just learned to be patient and wait for things to come.
That being said, I'm really looking forward to the sequel! Makes me feel a little giddy to think about it.

5333384 Well, I should probably clarify then, Worthwhile is in it's denouement. There is still story going on, but it's reached a stage of major resolutions. Basically what's there provides a satisfying read, and I am simply writing out some ending chapters to wrap it all up in a nice neat bow. So while not quite ready for a complete tag, it's for all intents and purposes at a stage of near completion.

I don't tend to give up on things, as evidenced by the shipfic I have been updating for nearly three years now XD.

5333412 That's awesome! :rainbowdetermined2: And I'm glad to hear that too, I'm running low on new material and I'll have to search for more in a week or two.

That's even better. I intent not to judge anyone for anything, but, being a human thingy, sometimes I just... want to... growl. At authors. For writing something really worth reading and just not finishing it. I hate unfinished stories. Even the worst, cruel clop-fic deserves an ending. Not for the satisfaction of the readers or the author, but as a tribute, as a show of respect for the story itself. Writing something is an act of creation and that is one of the most powerful things there's around. Creating something adds new blood to the world. It doesn't matter how bad said creation is, it may touch someone, somewhere, sometime, it may inspire someone, it may simply be a warning how not to do it.
Urgh... and here I though I could prevent myself from rumbling. Sorry about that. It's really nice to hear that there's some dedication behind your intentions.

Started reading out of curiosity and finished the entire thing in one sitting, enthralled. A great story you have here. Sad, heartbreaking, yet uplifting and heartwarming at the same time. And the raunchy action was written just as well as all the rest.

I simply cannot like this one enough, really. Time to move on to the sequel, I suppose.

Keep up the great work, mate.

6092917 Glad you enjoyed it. I had a blast writing it, And even more so with the sequel.

6478133 Couldn't say. But I would guess twisted knickers.

6478133

Really :rainbowhuh:? Huh, never notice that before :duck:. Good eye, I guess :applejackunsure:

Wow. Simply, wow. Can't wait to read the sequel!

6653585 If you're waiting for it to be completed, it may be a little longer. But it's close to being done.

7081131 Close, most call it Raripie.

7081155 Has any pony shipped Dashie with Daring Do? I think that would make a good couple. Calling DaringDash? Or RainDo? :rainbowhuh: oh well :rainbowkiss:

God, it's so so so good, I liked it very much
thanks for that gorgeous fic!

7357735 You're quite welcome. I enjoyed writing it. Funnily enough, I'm almost done with its sequel now.

6653585 Well, now it's done.

Yes! A sequel! Om nom nom...
