Leon always had a lot of adventurous dreams in his life, but none of them could quite match this one. Being in the role of a unicorn villain, in a mysteriously well detailed world, in which he has to take over an entire empire! Or at least that’s his plan. He always wanted to play the role of a villain and why not use this opportunity?
But he has to come in grip with his new powers yet. Taking over the Crystal Empire isn’t easy and a lot of ponies sure don’t share his enthusiasm about his plans. Best thing would be to make a plan, that means, if he can make one before the guards catch him…

Well, the first name I had in mind was Joel. Got this name from the game: The Last of Us, but found soon, that I could rather use the name Leon for several reasons.
First off, I liked the name and it is also one of the favourite names in Germany. Secondly, it reminded me off Squall Leonhart from Final Fantasy. He had this nice lion ring and Sombras mane reminded me somehow off a lion. Majestic mane and all.
Maybe not the best reasons, but hey, it's still a good name, so why not use it?

I know, that it can look like that. And I sure love that story, but I'm trying a different approach here.
I'm trying here to write a story about a human, who gets transferred into a villains body and tries to act like a villain. I pondered for a while which villain I could use for this, but King Sombra seemed like the best choice for this approach.
The Crystal Empire and the Crystal Heart deliver me some material to work with. I have no idea how to properly start this with Chryssalis, who already has an entire army under her! And Sombras Power make for some great magical moves. I can tell you, that I have a lot of attacks noted, that he will learn with the right time and training.
Edit: Who said that this is going to be short?
