Nice. Very nice. I like this, it was amusing.
One of the few stories depicting horseshoes being used as they are supposed to (and nailed on, at that). It bothered me that they showed them everywhere but never used them. Only thing is, I think that Applejack and Big Mac would be one of the biggest users of horseshoes, seeing as they would need them the most.

Well, Horshoes may not be worn anymore but it seems that they have been replaced by the slippers that Celestia, Luna and some of the others wear and more conventional footwear as seen worn by other pony's on occasion. Metal Horseshoes are just a remnant of a older time.

I like the idea and perspectives of the different characters. The dialogue was very disjointed though. The flow of the story was badly disrupted by the missing and out-of-order words. Other than that it was quite good. For this, I give you a Like.
