Umm... well that escalated quickly. There are a few things that I don't quite understand. Is this taking place on Earth? It said Santa Monica, so I want to assume so. A lot also happened out of the blue as well. I don't get what happened, why it happened, and where it could possibly go. Lastly, a description of the beach would have been nice. There are a lot of beaches out there. Stating a city doesn't paint a picture very well.

5590320 a gentle Pegasus mare landed softly outside the house of the one called rusty, her ears where torn and she dawned a cloak blacker than princess luna's night. She knocked on the door with what ever strength she had left, only to pause mid-knock and cough up a little blood. please.....answer...... thought the mare as she nearly collapsed at the doorstep. she gently lowered herself on the ground and rested her head on her hooves, struggling to keep her eyes even half open.
