After thousands of years of slumber four ancient horses are awoken. The original guardians of the world, they have vowed to become its destroyers. Wronged by those who put them to rest they are set about using their powers to enact their revenge upon the land.
It's up to Twilight and her friends to find them, and figure out how to stop the Four Horses of the Apocalypse.

I really like this! The concept is really cool and it's well written too. There was a few typos, but that's just normal.
I think that was supposed to be immense not eminence.
Then below in place of blow. None of it was really distracting though. Just thought I'd point out what I saw. Also, if I might guess, I think whatever escaped might just be the cause of Applejack's crops dying. Just a thought. Anyways, I'm definitely excited to see more!
5602955 Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate the criticism. Thanks for pointing out the mistakes!

5602983 No problem, glad to be of help
5603439 I don't really mind all that much. To each his own. All I did was look up information on the biblical story and how other people ponified them and created my own universe from that. There's several interpretations of them. So long as it's not an obvious copy I don't mind.
this is very well written and you can expect me to continue reading
Loving it so far keep it up.
Celestia's magic was referred to as pink, but it's actually gold.
Also, when the shadows took Rainbow, did Twilight not even consider using her magic to teleport her out?
That's brilliant of Twilight to think up following them.
Good concept, but they're acting very, very stupid. 'Hey, the princess just told us about these four ponies, one of whom is Famine, and outlined the Famine destroys food, and we spent the train back wondering how to stop these ponies. And we have NO idea who POSSIBLY could be destroying Applejack's farm, even though we know a magic famine-inducer is free'.
5700933 Admittedly not my best chapter, no. That's what happens when you loose several trains of thoughts over the course of the month. Most of the chapter was written the day after I posted the first one, and I finished it last night and this morning. That and the addition of several other stresses didn't exactly allow for the best writing environment. I don't want it to seem like I'm making up excuses, I'm merely attempting to explain.
However your criticism is greatly appreciated and taken into consideration for future references.
Thank you for your time,
-Sam.
Keep it up this is getting awesome.
*Takes off sunglasses*
Wait, did someone get to this idea before me?!
Mother of God....
Why is this on hiatus?
I had a conversation with a good friend of mine about the mythology behind the four horses today and it reminded me of this story, about the work behind it, and the reception it has. I've been having a lot of troubles lately in my life, and its time I have stories to quell my mind again. SkyBorn isn't far from being finished; a couple more chapters maybe. I want to sit down and finish it sometime. It'll take a lot of will power, and potentially more time, but it can be done.
After SkyBorn, it's time for the Four Horses to rise again.
If any of you are around to see this, I thank you for your love and patience.
Ever Loyally,
-Sam.
