That is the most adorable thing I have ever read. I'm actually tearing up from the sheer amount of feels in this story. Totally subscribing, or whatever it is. Amazing, just amazing, that story. Best. ∞/10 on that.

The only minus i can find in this story is that you described not one but two instances of a "wingboner" yea not a big fan of that word.
Otter then that i relay did enjoy this fic, and i think i got not only inspiration but also motivation to finish up my TwiShy fic so i must thank you for that sir and or madam.

5440145 I understand your disliking of the whole "wingboner" thing. But this is what I think about it;
Pegasi wings are used to convey how a Pegasus is feeling. For example, if a Pegasus is walking around with their head held high and their wings outstretched, it's a show of pride or confidence. And if a Pegasus taken by surprise, or startled, their wings extend to make them look bigger, much like many mammals do by extending the hairs on their body, such as cats and - indeed, this is a true fact - humans.
The two examples of "wingboners" in this story are not examples of sexual arousal, but of shock and surprise. Even though Fluttershy is not in any danger from any form of predator or competing pony, the shock that she feels from seeing the rare gems in one of her presents and from Twilight's confession trigger her primal fight-or-flight instincts, and her body reacts in the only way it knows how; to make herself look bigger than she really is, because she's scared.
